Jiang Ning confronts Ge Hao and his gang, easily defeating Ge Hao when he tries to attack. Deng Xiang, intimidated by Jiang Ning's past and current display of strength, orders his gang to leave. Yin Yu, intrigued by Jiang Ning's abilities, attempts to befriend him, but Jiang Ning dismisses her, threatening to hit her if she doesn't leave. Ge Hao complains about being defeated, while Zhao Xiaofeng plots a future rematch.

The fellow who was struck cried out in annoyance, "I recall being in the same WeChat group as him."

As he spoke, he fished out his phone, located Jiang Ning’s profile picture, and was momentarily taken aback by the username displayed.

Ge Hao and Deng Xiang both craned their necks to see, and discovered Jiang Ning's username was "AAA Punisher President Jiang."

Subsequently, they saw his signature, a sequence of emojis: "[Fist][Boy][Flame]."

The expressions on the faces of the group of wayward students shifted dramatically.

Do these delinquents understand that they aren't good people?

Perhaps a sliver of awareness existed, but self-justification is a common human trait, and the punk guy retorted indignantly, "Damn it, how am I a bad person? I've always been this way for years!"

Ge Hao chimed in, "I only occasionally rough people up, and they truly deserve it! A single clap doesn't make a sound!"

"Why did I target him and not someone else?"

A cascade of defensive statements followed.

Zhao Xiaofeng couldn't resist a sarcastic jab, "You lot are absolute beasts!"

Ge Hao shot back, "As if you're some paragon of righteousness."

"It makes me chuckle when you talk about justice."

Then, the punk guy let out a laugh, utterly unashamed.

Suddenly, his phone was snatched by a pair of firm hands. Following the hands upwards, he met the stern visage of Director Wang!

The punk guy trembled.

Director Wang inquired gravely, "Didn't the school prohibit mobile phone use?"

He pocketed the phone.

"And what about the injuries on your faces? Come with me to the security office!" Director Wang turned and departed.

...

A small garden.

Beneath a wisteria-laden pergola, Jiang Ning paused, leaning against a bench.

In the distant pond, a crudely fashioned rockery stood, and the Lion’s Head sculpture, which appeared lifeless in past lives, spouted water in arcs that reached high but failed to touch the sky.

A gentle breeze stirred, carrying the sweet perfume of magnolias. Jiang Ning flicked a finger, sending a small item flying into the pond, causing the goldfish to scatter.

Xue Yuantong asked with curiosity, "What did you toss in there?"

"Something tasty."

"You're fibbing!"

It was indeed tasty, but they were seeds, a few rough tubers.

Xue Yuantong leaned closer abruptly, "Jiang Ning, would you truly hit a girl?"

Jiang Ning responded, "Of course, if you wish, I'll hit you every single night."

"Hmph, you wouldn't dare!"

If such a thing were to happen, she would absolutely fight back and make Jiang Ning understand the meaning of fury.

Jiang Ning savored the refreshing breeze, flipped his hand, and his phone illuminated.

Xue Chuchu received a message from Tongtong, then shared a picture. Naturally, she didn't deliberately exclude Jiang Ning and sent him one as well.

The photograph depicted no blooming flowers, only scattered plum blossoms on the ground.

When all else slumbers, plum blossoms appear; when life awakens and flowers unfurl, plum blossoms fade and vanish.

Xue Chuchu sent the message, "Spring has arrived."

Gazing at Xue Chuchu’s picture and accompanying text, Jiang Ning couldn't help but let out a sigh. Chuchu truly possessed a knack for evoking melancholy, consistently sending such poignant things.

He considered himself a positive and cheerful individual, not someone suited to commiserating with Chuchu in her low spirits.

Jiang Ning typed back, "This isn't spring. Turn your camera to show me your spring."

Chuchu did not reply.

Xue Yuantong, standing beside him, called out, "Jiang Ning, Jiang Ning?"

Jiang Ning put his phone away, murmuring, "Hmm."

Xue Yuantong pouted, teasingly remarking, "Even though your response was merely a simple word, Jiang Ning, it radiates your refined charm. That air of detached coolness is utterly captivating, exuding an undeniable sense of sophistication!"

Jiang Ning looked at her, "Do you often offer compliments like that?"

Xue Yuantong beamed, "Yes, I frequently praise you just like this when talking to Chuchu."

Jiang Ning suddenly understood, "No wonder Chuchu has been a bit distant lately; this is all your doing."

Xue Yuantong felt an urge to stomp on him with her shoe.

...

An office.

The elegant Teacher An Chan was diligently preparing a presentation.

Her skills in creating PPTs were exceptional, not only efficient but always managing to perfectly encapsulate the core knowledge.

Despite her proficiency, her spirits were somewhat dampened, as her next scheduled class was the biology lesson for the notoriously unruly sophomore Class 8.

Gao Heshuai, clutching his limited-edition Hatsune Miku thermos, declared loudly, "It's no wonder you're a top student from East China Normal University; you're practically on par with me, a graduate of Nanshi University."

As he spoke, his gaze inadvertently swept over the young male teacher with a scholarly air. The latter was merely an ordinary instructor from Anshi University, posing no threat.

The scholarly male teacher paid no mind, subtly displaying the key to his three-pointed star car attached to his waist and straightening his posture!

Only a driver of a Mercedes-Benz, like himself, was a suitable match for the BMW-owning Teacher An Chan!

A silent rivalry ensued between the two gentlemen!

Mrs. Zhou seized the opportune moment to engage with the equally single Teacher Xiao Tao, saying, "Xiao Tao, you've never been in a relationship before, have you? Aren't your parents pressuring you?"

Guo Ran caught sight of her initial movement and immediately grasped her intention.

A while ago, Mrs. Zhou's husband had set up a meeting between a girl and Gao Heshuai. However, on the day they were supposed to meet, the doctor delivered the news that Gao Heshuai was to become a father.

Teacher Xiao Tao, engrossed in a drama, replied, "My parents don't mind."

Mrs. Zhou chuckled, remarking, "That just shows how truly open-minded your parents are."

Gao Heshuai interjected, "That's not quite right, Xiao Tao. If you remain unmarried, when your parents eventually pass away, you'll find yourself without a home to return to."

Xiao Tao was left speechless.

Had she walked into the wrong office? Oh my goodness! How could such people exist?

Guo Ran, who had also faced the pressure of marriage himself, logically posed the question, "How can one be without a home? Isn't the entire country our home?"

Gao Heshuai found himself unable to counter this point.

He engaged in a brief, friendly spar with his literary rival teacher in the office before they departed together.

During this brief interlude, a dashing and handsome young man, carrying a bag, entered the office.

It was none other than Dong Qingfeng.

"Qingfeng, you've arrived!" Teacher Xiao Tao greeted him warmly.

While Teacher Xiao Tao's appearance wasn't particularly striking, she served as an excellent catalyst.

Dong Qingfeng placed the bag on the spacious walnut desk, opened it with a smile, and said, "Last time we played ping pong, you mentioned how delicious the fruits were. So, I brought some for you to try. Teacher, please do me the honor."

Teacher Xiao Tao was visibly pleased; she was only about four or five years older than Dong Qingfeng, making them practically peers. She felt a touch of warmth from his gesture.

Dong Qingfeng unpacked the bag, revealing several round paper bowls filled with sliced fruits: gooseberry-pineapple, gooseberry-strawberry, gooseberry-watermelon, and a pile of blueberries the size of coins.

"So many fruits!" Teacher Xiao Tao exclaimed in surprise.

Mrs. Zhou, ever the pragmatist, commented, "These must have cost quite a bit, haven't they?"

Dong Qingfeng brushed it off with a smile, "Just seasonal fruits. I wanted to let the teachers try them while they're fresh."

He truly possessed a refined demeanor.

Dong Qingfeng offered a bowl to Teacher Xiao Tao, Mrs. Zhou, and Guo Ran.

Guo Ran, opening his snack drawer, politely declined, "Thank you for your kind offer, but I have plenty of fruit myself."

Dong Qingfeng smiled gently, "Mr. Guo, I bought a large quantity; I can't possibly finish it all myself. And they won't stay fresh for long."

Guo Ran considered this for a moment before saying, "In that case, could you perhaps pass this fruit on to Jiang Ning for me?"

These words struck Dong Qingfeng's heart like a sharp dagger, causing a pang of ache!

However, he possessed remarkable resilience and quickly regained his composure.

Every female teacher in the office received a portion of the fruit, with the sole exception of An Chan.

An Chan appeared to deliberately ignore the situation, continuing with her PPT work.

At this juncture, Dong Qingfeng finally approached her and said, "Teacher An, would you please try some of these fruits? If they are to your liking, I intend to present them to my mother."

An Chan wasn't very familiar with Dong Qingfeng. She perceived him as one of the more well-behaved students in the otherwise chaotic Class 8, noting that he didn't cause trouble and was willing to engage with questions.

Originating from a large city, An Chan was not one to be easily shy and decided to accept his offering.

Dong Qingfeng didn't linger further, departing as gracefully as a gentle breeze.

However, An Chan called out to him, "Could I ask you something?"

Dong Qingfeng replied, "Of course, no problem."

An Chan hesitated several times before finally asking, "Has your class always been this... chaotic?"

Guo Ran raised an eyebrow, casting a nonchalant glance in her direction, and inquired with an air of surprise, "Where do you see chaos?"
