Rebirth of the Nameless Immortal God Chapter 2331 End (2)

Previously on Rebirth of the Nameless Immortal God...
Dyon shared the full tale of his first life with his wives and daughter, recounting his birth as an incarnation of evil amid weak parents in a qi-abundant era, their deaths, and his internal struggle tamed only by Madeleine's influence before her sacrificial fusion with the Heavens. He revealed Abraxus's likely manipulations, from approaching him as an ally to possibly engineering his wives' repeated deaths across lifetimes. Through 109 reincarnations, Dyon perfected reincarnation techniques, secretly built armies via the Ancient Battlefield and Titan Diamond Body, and subdued Apollos by re-establishing Heavenly suppression linked to the Immortal Plane.

"In essence, Abraxus sought my soul quintessence 'technique' right from the start to fully sever his bonds with the Heavens. He couldn't achieve what I managed, so he resorted to the path of Chaos as his last remaining option. Without it, he'd face death just like all the others…"

"He'd already tapped into his Cycles of Reincarnation technique for one revival, and given the massive toll it took the first time, repeating it was utterly impossible…"

"What about the war, then? Who were they battling?"

Madeleine realized now that a fierce war had indeed been unfolding on the Immortal Plane.

They'd previously believed it was Abraxus clashing against chaos faction members, but with this new insight…?

Dyon smiled faintly. "It doesn't alter much. He was still battling the chaos faction.

"From what I can gauge, he was staging a facade… That moment he slew three of my disciples, a trace of my aura on Little Nazaire surfaced, forcing him to flee. At that point, I was still weaving the technique and scouting the ideal spot for my second life, so despite my long absence, my presence lingered on the Immortal Plane.

"Realizing his rash move, he probably whipped up the war to mask his actions. Only after detecting my Titan Diamond Body's awakening did he grasp that I'd truly departed, allowing him to conclude the conflict."

Clara furrowed her brow. "But if he linked the Titan Diamond Body to you, why didn't he unravel your scheme?"

"Key here is he had no clue about my extra 108 lifetimes. He assumed my 109th life was my initial one. Or better said, my second."

A wave of sudden understanding washed over Dyon's wives.

"As my master, think of all the topics I discussed with him? Nearly 90% of my plan's details came from his guidance.

"I kept from him only the full extent of my ambitions. He believed it was all to reunite you all with me, yet that was merely one piece of my goal.

"Our original scheme placed you all in my 109th life – which he viewed as my second – but exact locations eluded us. Thus, foreseeing the Ancient Battlefield's descent this era, we agreed I should inherit this constitution to boost odds of locating you, especially if one was a Fallen Clan princess…"

The astonishment gripping Dyon's wives and daughter soared to unimaginable heights.

Deceiving from shadows was manageable… but outwitting someone privy to nearly every angle of your strategy? That was another level. Plus, Dyon hadn't even confirmed Abraxus's betrayal then… Or perhaps he simply refused to accept it…

"So, how about it? Isn't your husband impressive?"

Dyon flashed a cheeky grin, prompting eye rolls from his wives and daughter.

"Little Dyon, where's the humility I taught you? What became of my sweet innocent boy?"

Dyon stiffened, then hacked a cough while glancing at his mother's statue. Only one soul dared dub him Little Dyon.

Why couldn't his mom let him keep his cool facade? Must she expose him like this?

Just then, two radiant glows emerged from his parents' statues.

To the left stood a towering, stern man with deep brown skin and sharp, sculpted traits. He appeared untouched by smiles for ages, yet his forward gaze radiated unmistakable warmth.

To the right was the sole woman Dyon deemed a match for his daughter's beauty. Bias aside, he claimed that privilege. After all, hadn't he just saved the world? Hero points earned, surely?

Dyon recalled countless dreams in his 109th life yearning for that gentle smile once more. No, not just then… Across every life, she illuminated his path like a beacon.

"Finally, I get to meet my wonderful daughters-in-law? And this must be my granddaughter! Come here, let me take a good look at you all."

Dyon's wives flushed shyly. This marked their inaugural encounter with their mother-in-law… How long had she watched? Oh dear, had she witnessed their teasing of Dyon? Would she fault them?

Dyon's smile softened as his mother warmly welcomed each wife, growing even wider at Little Alauna's spoiled antics with her grandma.

He rose and approached his father. For a beat, the pair exchanged few words. Even as the Nameless Immortal God – wielder of tempests and disasters with a mere gesture – Dyon felt dwarfed like a child before his dad, the only man he deemed superior.

At last, his father exhaled and peered beyond Dyon.

"I'm sorry for my son's behavior. Should he mistreat you, I'll tan his hide properly."

From anyone else, laughter would erupt. Yet General Sacharro's solemn tone made clear he meant every word about spanking Dyon.

Dyon could only offer a wry grin. His father embodied tradition. He wouldn't fault the wives for choosing Dyon, but the man himself for shouldering such debts to so many women – pure irresponsibility.

Wordlessly, Dyon pulled his father into a hearty bear hug, denying any refusal.

General Sacharro tensed briefly, then relented with a sigh.

"You're a full-grown man now; no call for childish antics."

Dyon grinned wider, refusing release.

It made for a classic conclusion. Except Dyon skipped returning to the battlefield – foes perished without glimpsing his face.

Far off on the battlefield, Aritzia lay utterly still. Dyon spared her no finishing strike; she yet drew breath.

Days passed before she let out a faint chuckle. "… Truly, it wasn't worth it…"

A thunderous snap tore through the void, unleashing spatial rifts that scarred the realms anew before quieting.

Now gazing upon Aritzia revealed no spark of life… Her Dao Heart had crumbled, her vitality ebbed away…

The First White Mother glared skyward, spears riddling her chest. Pure loathing burned in her eyes, as if damning the Heavens for her humiliating defeat.

...

Abraxus crumpled, aging swiftly till his flesh crumbled to dust. His gaze turned hollow at the close… As his final breath escaped, he sighed – yet that sigh bore a faint lip curl… a smile.

A master's duty was elevating his disciple to world's apex. Heights he couldn't scale, obstacles he couldn't solo.

Embarking this path, he foresaw just two outcomes: his triumph to new heights, or his disciple's. One would shatter this endless loop.

Learning it was his disciple brought no regret. Quite the opposite – he'd fulfilled his role admirably.

He entrusted the finish to his finest disciple, his crowning achievement, the youth akin to his own son. Unwavering faith in Dyon.

...

Even at her end, the First White Mother failed to grasp Dyon's deeds. Her last musings swirled with vengeance. Rebirth awaited, and then Dyon would suffer manifold.

Dyon was the fool, she mused. Sure, he'd restored the mortal plane's zenith via the Ancient Battlefield. But Chaos loomed inevitable; nothing altered. In time… victory hers, however long.

Yet Dyon's kin, hearing her thoughts, would only chuckle with gleaming smiles. For…

A Sacharro never loses.

Fin.

A Final Note from Awespec,

THANK YOU ALL! I hope you've loved this ride as much as I loved writing it. As I said, RNIG was my first baby, but I have a hidden surprise for you all. I've chosen to make RNIG a connected universe with all my cultivation novels, including the currently ongoing Grand Ancestral Bloodlines. But, I will say the connections will only be strongest with a third cultivation novel I have in the works and have yet to release. Who knows, maybe some time in the future, you'll see these characters again :)

For now, please check out my new novel: Genetic Ascension. You can check the author's note below for the blurb.

Aside from that, join my discord and follow my instagram. The former has fun activities and we're currently writing an "audience chooses the path" novel together, and the latter has art works for all my novels
