Izroth successfully passes Argenthea's test, receiving the Unique* skill book 'Shared Elixirs.' He also unlocks the hidden chain quest 'Curing The Grand Duke’s Daughter,' with a strict 10-hour time limit to cure Amelia Harpe. Mithron reveals details about Lady Harpe's attack, the assailants' mysterious self-destruction, and the Kroma Family's fruitless investigation, while also mentioning their unsuccessful search for a Holy Saintess.

"Rest assured, since I have given my word, I will do everything in my power to ensure Lady Harpe recovers. That aside, this conversation has been helpful, but I would like to see Lady Harpe now so that I can check on her condition and begin the treatment. Also, I would like all the details of all the treatment methods attempted so far." Izroth stated calmly.

"Quicksil, escort Supreme Elder Izroth to the room where Lady Harpe resides. As for the Supreme Elder’s request, I will have someone deliver it as soon as it’s finished being prepared. If there is anything that the Supreme Elder needs to aid Lady Harpe’s recovery, do not hesitate to ask. My Kroma family does not lack resources and gold. You have our full support." Mithron said firmly.

"Then, I won’t reject your sincerity." Izroth said as he cupped his hand into his fist.

Quicksil stepped forward and said, "Please follow me, Supreme Elder. I will escort you to see Lady Harpe."

Quicksil then faced Mithron and Elara, gave a polite bow and then stood upright before he made his way toward the reception hall’s exit.

Izroth followed Quicksil as they soon departed from the reception hall.

...

A few moments later...

After leaving the reception hall, Quicksil escorted Izroth to an isolated wing located near the heart of the Kroma family estate.

The further they ventured in, the more heavily guarded the area became.

Quicksil and Izroth stopped before a door with a heavily armored guard stationed one each side. Both guards had a fierce aura about them that immediately revealed that they had been a part of numerous battlefields. Though this was no surprise considering that the two were a part of Mithron’s personal guard.

When the guards saw the two, they immediately stood to salute with their fist placed across their chest.

"Sir Quicksil, Commander Izroth." The two guards said as their gaze locked onto Izroth.

"Sir Bronzar, Sir Steelon—thank you for your hard work. The family head sends his thanks as well." Quicksil mentioned as his eyes briefly darted between Izroth and the two guards.

He then asked, "This... Do you two know the Supreme Elder?"

The two guards lowered their arms.

The guard on the right, Sir Bronzar, replied, "We have long since abandoned the battlefield and swore to guard the Kroma family. But, we are still soldiers at heart. We have heard many stories of Commander Izroth’s feats in the war. He is someone who deserves our respect."

"Commander Izroth is young and has a bright future ahead of him. I look forward to hearing more tales of his heroic deeds." Steelon stated proudly.

Izroth knew that his name had been spreading everywhere lately due to his accomplishments in the war; however, he did not think they’d also find their way into the heart of the Kroma Family.

Quicksil could not hide the shock on his face. Bronzar and Steelon had both been by the family head’s side for a long time. He had always known the two as being stoic and serious, especially when it came talking to outsiders. However, those same individuals not only went out of their way to salute Izroth, but even looked toward him with respect. Though given their upright personality, Quicksil could see why that was the case.

"You honor me with your words. I will do my best to ensure that I don’t end up betraying your expectations." Izroth said respectfully as he returned their salute with one of his own.

Despite being probably twice his age and having more experience, there was no trace of arrogance in Bronzar and Steelon’s actions. It was not often that Izroth came across individuals that were so upright and fully devoted to the path they chose to walk. And, since the two decided to treat him with respect, naturally, he would return it in kind.

Once a brief exchange of words, Bronzar and Steelon placed the twin doors they stood by. When their hand touched the door, a series of magic symbols appeared and emitted a faint white hue. At the same time, a strong flow of mana filled the area as the sound of the doors opening seemed to echo throughout the halls.

"We will be right outside and ensure that you remain undisturbed. If you need us, do not hesitate to call. We still respond with haste." Steelon stated.

"I do not wish to get in the way of the Supreme Elder’s treatment. I will wait until the information you requested is delivered and hand it over to you myself. After that, I will be waiting in the room across the hall. Please feel free to order me as you see fit when it comes to requesting any materials or items required for Lady Harpe’s treatment." Quicksil said with furrowed brows.

He began to bow toward Izroth and continued, "Please, Supreme Elder, you must save Lady Harpe. I-"

Izroth placed his hands out and stopped Quicksil’s bow halfway through.

"I can see your sincerity well. Rest assured, I have no intention of leaving here until Lady Harpe has made a full recovery. On this, I give you my word." Izroth stated resolutely.

Quicksil eyes widened before a helpless smile appeared on his face and he stood upright.

"Then... I will trust in your words and wait for the good news." Quicksil responded.

Izroth gave a small nod before he walked into the room. As soon as he did so, Bronzar and Steelon closed the doors as the mana in the surroundings returned to normal.

Izroth swept his gaze across the room. The room itself was incredibly spacious and bright from the natural light that shined in from the outside. Compared to the guest room Izroth stayed in, this room was much more luxurious and one could tell that the décor was well thought out.

Izroth’s gaze traveled toward the bed located near the top half of the room’s center. Besides Izroth himself, there was only one other person in the room.

That person was a beautiful young lady with long blonde hair who appeared to be in her late teens. She lied perfectly still on the bed and wore a set of simple yet comfortable white robes that properly covered her body.

Izroth approached the side of the bed and looked down at the young lady who seemed to be resting peacefully.
