Izroth reveals his true name to Holy Saintess Lucilla after she is unable to fully remove a curse affecting him. Lucilla suggests only the Goddess of Light or the Holy Emperor of O’Tohelm can remove it. Izroth then asks Lucilla about a Holy Saintess connected to the Jestal Family, learning about Holy Saintess Alina. Finally, Lucilla departs, leaving Izroth to investigate O’Tohelm’s occupation of Terraharpe City.

...

A few moments later, Izroth arrived before a room with one guard stationed on each side of a double door.

After Izroth left the auction house area of the Golden Treasure House, he stopped by his private storage room. He collected a few of the items he had sent there from the auction house.

Once he finished, Izroth made his way toward the meeting location arranged by the representative of the Kroma Family.

The doors were made out of a sturdy and heavy metallic alloy and was protected by several complex magic formations. It also had the symbol of the Golden Dragon Association etched onto its surface.

"Welcome, honored guest. We have been awaiting your arrival." One of the guards said respectfully.

Without wasting a moment, the guards each held onto the handle of a door before pushing it open.

Izroth gave a small nod before he walked into the room. After he did so, the guards pulled the doors shut and went back to their previous positions.

When Izroth stepped into the room, the first thing he noticed was the large magic circle at the room’s center. In order to reach the magic circle, one had to descent a small flight of stairs that surrounded it.

The room itself was filled with luxurious decorations. It was just as one would expect considering that it belonged to the Golden Dragon Association.

The room stepped into was a place accessible only to select high-ranking officials of the Golden Dragon Association and those who possessed Diamond-Level or Dragon-Level VIP status in the Golden Dragon Association.

Not only that, but even if one were a high-ranking official or a Diamond-Level VIP, they could only use the teleportation magic circle a limited number of times per year. As for Dragon-Level VIPs, there was no such limit.

The restrictions were due to the fact that building and operating a teleportation magic circles required an amount of resources even kingdoms would not take lightly. More importantly, there were not many individuals in the Mortal Realm capable of creating teleportation magic circles, especially ones that could be used consistently. Needless to say, people like that typically already had all they money they could ever want. In order to get them to make a move, it usually required a price of several extremely rare or obscure treasures.

Besides Izroth, there were only two other people in the room. One was a handsome middle-aged man with short neatly kept light blonde hair and a pair of white grayish eyes. He was dressed in formal white and blue scholar robes. The aura around him was not one that belonged to someone strong in a sense of strength or power. However, there was a certain depth and disposition about him that almost instinctively put one on guard in his presence. There were dark circles under the man’s eyes as though he had not had a good night’s rest in several days.

The person next to the man appeared to be his attendant. It was a young man cyan hair and a pair of eyes that matched. He wore the clothes of a butler with a set of white clothes that covered his hands.

"You must be the Fourth Pavilion Supreme Elder. I am the representative of the Kroma family, Quicksil Kroma. I apologize for skipping pleasantries, but the situation is quite serious and requires immediate attention. That is why, I hope that you do not mind departing at once." The middle-aged man stated in a calm and collected manner.

Although Quicksil managed to keep things professional, Izroth could see traces of doubt and uncertainty in his eyes.

Of course, Izroth did not fault Quicksil. Only a fool would fully trust the words of someone that had no reputation or known feats to back it up. That aside, whether Quicksil held doubts toward his capabilities did not matter. After all, one’s actions spoke much louder than words.

Izroth used his Divine Appraisal on Quicksil.

"However, before we depart, I must ask that the Supreme Elder allow me to confirm his identity and remove the item responsible for hiding your appearance. Since this matter is a sensitive one and requires the utmost discretion, I cannot disclose the contents to one whose identity is unknown. I hope that the Supreme Elder does not take offense to my request." Quicksil said firmly.

Izroth unequipped the item given to him by Hyrell that concealed his identity.

When Quicksil saw Izroth’s appearance, his eyes widened a bit in shock as the doubt in his eyes increased. A slight frown appeared on his face; however, Quicksil swiftly adjusted himself.

"This person is far too young... Yet, he claims to be able to bring a someone on their last breath back to life. Was I too hasty and momentarily blinded by desperation?" Quicksil thought to himself.

"Your request is not an unreasonable one. If I were to take offense to such a small matter, my mind would truly be too narrow to see the path ahead. I am the Supreme Elder of the Fourth Pavilion, Izroth. I have come to fulfil the promise of our agreement." Izroth said confidently as he cupped his hand into his fist and gave a simple yet powerful greeting.
