Sonia stood back as the two level 6 demi gods charged forward, rushing towards the dog-faced lizard.

"Should we go check another town then? Town 2? Maybe we will meet them somewhere on the way." Bulldog said, just thinking of Anne made him drool.

"Yes, I think so too. Sonia, are you ready to leave?" Turning to her, he asked.

"I..." Shitless, while crying internally, glanced back.

According to the plan, Shitless already held the flag so if he were to die, he would be resurrected.

And so he was supposed to go ahead by himself.

While using this time, Vritra and the others would find and eliminate the anomaly before moving to Town 2.

And doing the same there.

Shitless would just have to delay them a bit, and wait for the group to arrive.

The moment these messages flashed, everyone was stunned.

What the hell was going on? What sort of fucked-up rules were these? What crazy person was setting them up?

There were no players in that town, so no clapping could be seen or heard, until they got close to a building.

"I can hear a faint sound, I think it's coming from inside there." Maeve spoke, controlling the shadows to peek inside.

The group stopped in front of it and waited, soon Maeve exclaimed:

"I saw it, the anomaly! It is in there, I just saw a person clapping rapidly."

"Let's go then, be careful. We aren't sure of its strength yet, let's kill it as quickly as possible."

Taking the lead, Vritra moved forward calmly.

Instead of moving in a group, they entered one by one, walking towards the place Maeve instructed.

Soon, Vritra stopped in front of a desk on the third floor, the man was clapping while trying to write something.

"Hello." Vritra spoke.

"..." The man looked up, but didn't say anything, just continued clapping.

Vritra stared at the man and wondered how this guy was an anomaly? He seemed pretty normal.

"Do you know where I can find someone named Onest?" he questioned.

"Hmm." After thinking for a moment, he shook his head, still not saying anything.

CLAP CLAP

Vritra took out the compass and moved around the guy, it was pointing straight at him and soon began to glow.

'It is indeed him!'

"I am telling you, this is who I am searching for-" Vritra leaned against the desk, as if to show a photo.

But Goop suddenly transformed into a sharp sword as Vritra slashed horizontally at the anomaly's neck.

WHOOSH

The movement was so sudden and quick that the anomaly was too late to react.

The blade cut into its body, as blood spluttered and the head was almost torn off.

RAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR

He finally let out a scream, his mouth opening into a large circular shape, long sharp teeth covering it.

And bugs and worms could be seen crawling around inside.

It jumped back, barely managing to save its life, but got attacked from all directions instantly.

Shadows, flames and all sorts of attacks were launched at the same time.

Within moments, the body of the anomaly was blasted to pieces, as insects crawled in all directions.

"Kill them all, it is trying to escape!" Vritra shouted, striking down all the tiny creatures.

The other people in the building were all startled, running away.

Before long, they managed to kill all the creatures and the first anomaly was slain.
