Vritra tricks the gods into a staring contest, only to disqualify one for not having eyes. As his subordinates race to steal planet emblems, the gods become suspicious and discover Vritra is not the Divine. Vritra admits he is Zihong, the Divine's successor, and escapes using a powerful fishing rod before the gods can retaliate.

The ten gods were going crazy, having been fooled by such a weak demi god.

They trembled in rage just thinking that they had been afraid of that person, going along with whatever he said.

Just because he used the Divine's name, they lost all reason.

"Find him at any cost, I will give him the most painful punishment!!" The Sun God roared as the nine gods dispersed in different directions.

Only the Book God was left there to check what damage that Zihong guy had caused.

"Haa. Where do I even start?" feeling a headache, the Book God began to check up on everything.

They can't overlook even a tiny error after what happened last time, or they would receive an even longer punishment.

The nine gods and countless demi gods began to search for him, looking far and wide, going through all planes and planets.

But they couldn't find anything, after some time they did find a Zihong but that Zihong had been locked up for a long time.

And he was still locked up, so were they fooled again?

That was not Zihong, and remembering the Nether Eye, they knew exactly who it was.

Vritra!!

...

ACHOO

On the other side, Vritra rubbed his nose, the gods sure were going hard at worrying about him.

'Heh, they found out rather late, there is no point now.' Vritra appeared in the Dimensional Book where the rest of his family was present.

"Honey, did you finish it?" Vanessa and the others hurriedly walked over, looking at him with worry.

"You fought with the gods? Cool!" Shitless's and Onest's eyes were gleaming, they appeared even more impressed.

"Of course, I finished the task." Vritra said with a smile then cursed under his breath and added:

"Just as I started all ten of the gods arrived there, I had to pretend to be Divine and fool the gods."

"Meow!"

{Sin Point Gained: Amazed +9}

"But once they recognize you, won't they chase and come right away to Zoratian Planet?" Maeve asked, glancing at the goddess who seemed to have gotten used to her punishment.

"They won't personally, but they will surely send some people to check this place up. But it's fine, the games are about to begin, oh right these guys helped me out." Vritra gestured as all the soul wraiths appeared, the Chimera for some reason seemed the proudest, despite not even making an appearance.

The ones who had done the main tasks were Dark Knight, Hellmancer, Psyche, Bob and Bobby.

"Thank you, lord." All of them responded, just then a fly appeared there, circling around the group.

"Good job, Vritra, that was an impossible-level task. The next games are going to be easy so you don't have to worry much, now give me the exact coordinates of the two planets." Divine said, and as always his voice was only heard by Vritra, who nodded and instructed.

"Give the coordinates of the two planets you stole and put in the void bubble."

Dark Knight stepped back, since his task wasn't to steal the planet emblem but to find the void bubble.

He would give the exact information later.

The other soul wraiths replied respectfully.

"Planet: 69,391,000,067, the coordinates are..."

"Planet: 69,393,000,067, the coordinates are..."

"Planet: 69,394,000,067, the coordinates are..."

"Planet: 10,452,211,305, the coordinates are..."

Vritra: "?!!"

"Huh? You don't have to speak at once, just the ones who remember the coordinates of the two can speak."

Vritra said calmly but the four spoke again, each speaking a different serial number of the planet.

By now, everyone was confused.

"Wait, wait! Hellmancer, you go first." Vritra said, rubbing his forehead, what he was thinking had gone wrong.

"Planet: 10,452,211,305, the coordinates are..."

"Correct, that's one of the planets we needed to select." Divine nodded, then waited.

"Uh now, Psyche, you tell me." Vritra spoke, trying to remain calm.

"Planet: 69,391,000,067, the coordinates are..."

"No, that's not the right planet, the number was 69,392,000,066!" Vritra said, a grave look on his face, but then tried to calm himself down.

"It's alright, one game would change, that is not a problem. I am sure that with your strength, you can handle these games." Divine added, further calming them all down.

The first game would be for the level 3 demi gods while the second game is for level 4 demi gods.

That's why Divine had selected games where victory wouldn't be guaranteed just based on strength.

And with the Forbidden skill, Vritra would have a greater chance at victory, directly evolving to level 5.

Vritra sighed and looked at Dark Knight: "Now go ahead and-"

Bob and Bobby were drenched in sweat, although imaginary, they were shaking in their positions.

"COUGH. M- Master, there is uhm something we would like to add..." Bob muttered, gathering his confidence and speaking nervously.

"What is it?" Vritra had a bad feeling in his heart as he glanced at Shitless, who showed a forefinger, indicating that this was the beginning.

"I- I also added one emblem of a planet..." Bob spoke in a mosquito-like voice that none could hear at the end.

But the starting words were enough to freeze everyone, even Divine looked on in bafflement.

"Hahaha, your sense of humour has become better, good job but this is not the time to joke." Vritra said, chuckling and shaking his head, going into denial.

"Master! M- M- Me too, I too... uh it's not my fault, I was just eh following Bob, he said to do it, but please don't punish him too much just beat him half to death." Bobby also decided to come clean.

Initially the two were unable to talk but now they could talk in normal human language and voices.

"Oh, brother-in-law, it was good knowing you." Divine suddenly felt sad, both his sisters were about to become widows at once.

What a sad day to be alive, he would rather spray insect-killing spray on himself.

Of course, his sisters would be safe.

"Bob, Bobby, Psyche..." with a small smile, Vritra looked at the three hard-working soul wraiths who had just fucked up the whole situation.

As the reality sank in, he suddenly felt like the number of soul wraiths was too high.

He looked at the proud Chimera, it did have every right to be proud, not doing anything was far better than fucking things up.

Dear Chimera, do you want to taste your brothers? Want to turn into a big ball?

Why would Vritra need the gods or other demi gods to harm him, when he was carrying such helpful loyal wraiths, truly too blessed he was.

Pride burst out of his eyes as he looked at the three entities.

After a few minutes had passed, Vritra finally got a hold of his emotions, and decided to forgive the three after all everyone makes mistakes.

And forgiveness is a virtue, they had helped him a lot in the past, now is not the time to fuss over this but to plan how to deal with the future problems.

GULP

Psyche silently tried to merge into the background, hoping to forever be forgotten and become one with the environment.

The sky is so beautiful, but why was the way ahead full of darkness?

"Knight and Hellmancer, here, take these three away and beat them until they remember the exact number of that planet." Vritra passed on the spatial page of the Dimensional Book.

"Masterrrrrrrrrrr, I wasn't even at faultttt..." Psyche screamed as he got dragged away by his two loving elder brothers.

"Fuck!!" Vritra almost crushed the insect flying before him, feeling so angry.

"Meow..."

"Ugh. D- Does that mean we have to participate in four different games at once?!" clutching her head with both hands, Yasmine exclaimed.

"Yes, four different games at once, competing with a total of 40 demi gods. From level 3 to 6, congrats!" Divine was so shocked that he actually, for the first time, spoke out loud.

But no one paid it any mind.

THUD

Shitless fell over on his butt, wiping the sweat from his bald head, so is it time to finally die?

Would his dreams be crushed? He would never be able to stomp on a god's head? Curse them, slap them, make them run like a dog?

Such small wishes would be buried now?

Shitless began to pray quickly, hoping it would work.

Onest sat down and began to create something with mud, they were all inside a Dimensional Book where the ground was just like Zoratian Planet.

"I should prepare my grave in advance, the tomb of the greatest thief of all time!"

"Our b- baby..." Yasmine touched her very slightly bulging belly over her clothes, worried about the future.

It's only been a bit over a month and a half since she got pregnant, she too didn't want to die.

"Meow..." Diana also muttered something but none could understand her concern.

"We were going to enter the games to escape from those powerful demi gods and now we are going directly to meet them?" Fiona felt a strong headache.

"Calm down, it might not be that bad, r- right?" Vritra said, glancing up at Divine, who was suddenly rotating around them at a high speed.

"No, it's very bad, you are dead meat Vritra. Even a thousand years of prayer wouldn't do anything." Divine said, glancing at Shitless.

Hearing that, everyone became even more worried, speaking at once.

Onest lay in his grave as he pulled the scared Shitless into the grave like a ghost.

It was a complete mess, Vritra looked up and didn't know what to say or do.

Why were the stars suddenly shining so brightly? Were they mocking him? Damn them!!
