Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 814 A Losing Battle, or is it?
Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
Some time ago, Vritra had spent nearly three weeks earning sin points.
There were some days off but the number of audience members was very big, making them increase rapidly.
Sitting on a chair made of dust, he finally looked at the sin points.
[Sin Points: 1,999,988,024]
So many!! This was the first time he had earned this many sin points, almost two billion!
Even after upgrading Dust Manipulation, he would have nearly 1.5 billion left.
'12,000 more and it would truly be 2 billion, I guess I will earn it tonight.' Vritra decided, thinking of the long night ahead.
Without any further thoughts, he was going to upgrade Dust Manipulation first and think about what to upgrade later.
But just then, Divine spoke.
"Don't use those points yet, use them once your battle with Zihong begins."
Vritra was surprised, he looked around but Bullo wasn't there, instead a small insect flew in front of him.
CLAP
Without a second thought, Vritra hit the bug, as if killing some mosquito.
"Ugh What is this for now?" Divine acted as if he received major damage, laying sprawled over his palm.
"Anyway, why did you tell me not to use the sin points yet?" Vritra asked with a frown, this insect looked exactly the same as he had seen before.
In that Divine Realm where he was stuck with Yennefer.
CLAP
Remembering that torture, he struck the bug's body again, making Divine groan.
"Isn't it better to prepare early? And I might not even get the chance to do anything if he brings out some big moves." Vritra said, while still squeezing the bug between his palms with all his might.
"W- Wait, let me- HUFF I am trying to help you and you are hurting me? Ouch I am so hurt." Divine quickly flew away from his palms, yet not transforming into Bullo.
"Hmm that is true, it is always better to be prepared for such strong enemies, but even if you are losing, with your plan, do you really fear Zihong?" Divine asked, he was well aware of Vritra's plan.
And felt that it was quite reliable.
"That aside, give me one reason not to do it?" Vritra asked firmly, he wanted so badly to use those points on something.
The feeling of constantly growing was just otherworldly.
"Just trust me, do it during the battle and it would be more fun. Also, I will have a nice surprise for you tomorrow." Divine replied, just as always not giving complete information.
"Sigh" Vritra sighed then taking something out of his inventory, he aimed at the bug and…
PSSHHH…
He sprayed the bug-killing spray on Divine.
"Ahh Where did you even get that? You prepared it for ughh for me, right? Hehe You sure care a lot about me." Divine quickly flew away while screaming.
Vritra stared at the empty sky, Divine might be a piece of shit, but he is trustable even if a tiny bit.
"I guess I will have to wait a bit longer then." And so Vritra didn't invest those glittering sin points.
He headed back to his home, back to his wives.
…
The blue glow disappeared and somehow ignored the defences of Goop, directly striking Vritra.
It tore through his heart, as more and more blood rushed out.
COUGH
Vritra felt slight pain, but nothing he couldn't handle, though the healing was still too slow.
"Really not bad, your physique is quite strong. Even my wounds wouldn't start healing for a few days after getting struck by this." Zihong praised.
"But if that's all you have, then it is time to end you." He shook the bell in his left hand, making faint ringing sounds.
TING TING TING
The vibrations spread in all directions. Vritra managed to balance his body, wondering what this new treasure is.
He quickly read its description but just like the knife, Zihong had used some way to mess up its description.
The skills he had obtained through Mutamorphis aren't absolute, they can still be countered.
A strange coffin began to form around Vritra, like how a bird builds its nest, strange lines assembling in some sort of pattern.
"You might be curious about this thing, but can't see anything, right? haha" Zihong laughed and decided to tell him about it, since he was going to die soon anyway.
"Once you are caught inside it, then there is no escape. Your mind, soul, body, heart, brain, all cells, everything would be separated, leaving you completely powerless, there is just no way to escape." His voice grew menacing as he spoke.
Vritra frowned, trying to destroy those lines with various of his skills but it really wasn't having any effect.
It was as if those lines didn't exist in reality, none of the attacks worked.
Even his Dust Manipulation was completely useless, even though it was already at the SS rank.
He teleported away but those lines were completely attached to him, increasing in number with each passing moment.
They teleported along with him.
'Now this is annoying.' Vritra thought, as he activated yet another powerful skill.
[Null Activated!]
He first tried using the spatial ability to send the strange cocoon forming around him into oblivion.
Yet it failed.
"Hahaha" Zihong was truly enjoying himself, this was what he wanted to feel after being trapped in that hellhole for so long.
To see his enemy struggle helplessly yet still falling into his trap, this was just too much fun.
"It is pointless, no matter what you try." Zihong shook his head, he had many more things he had prepared for Vritra.
He let go of the blue dagger and pulled out a small pouch, while Vritra was struggling, he poured down the contents.
Some sort of dust leaked out, which then flew towards Vritra, quickly sticking to his body.
'What the hell is this now?' Vritra had just finished trying to use his spatial skill to move the thin cocoon and failed.
As he noticed the dust sticking all over his body.
Frowning, he tried using Dust Manipulation as his body was about to burst into tiny particles of dust.
But!
The skill for the first time actually failed, making it impossible to turn himself into dust, the dust kind of merged into his body.
And no matter how much he tried, it was impossible to separate.
It seemed like a completely one-sided battle, he couldn't do anything.
The only trick he had was the Forbidden skill which was still effective.
Finally, Vritra decided to use the time from the Null ability, as everything paused.
The threads slowly began to disappear, the dust was pulled off of him, yet that too lasted just a mere moment.
"Tsk tsk I thought you were smarter than that." Zihong shook his head, as he threw the pouch away and took out a staff.
A white light engulfed everything as time stopped once again.
His ability was mainly related to time too and with this staff he could barely match Vritra, and that was more than enough.
The threads reattached to the cocoon and the dust disappeared into his body again, Vritra found it hard to properly use time to change the tide of the battle.
Slowly at first then quickly, he disappeared inside the cocoon.
