Vritra exited the residence, with Yasmine, Teresa, and Yennefer trailing behind him.
Shitless and Onest had already departed to rendezvous with Bullo.
It was at this moment that Vritra took notice of the numerous lord-rank guards stationed around the premises, his attention then drawn to a few particularly distinguished figures.
Present were the soul wraiths, Knight, Hellmancer, Bob, Bobby, Psyche, and the Chimera.
"Knight, your strength has ascended."
Vritra remarked, noting that Knight had reached level 3 of the Demi-god rank subsequent to assimilating Drino's deceased form.
The Knight bore a longsword strapped to his back, emanating a lethal aura that caused the surrounding environment to tremble, enveloped in an oppressive darkness.
Even Vritra, having not yet received his game-derived rewards, had not attained level 3 himself.
Knight, along with all the other soul wraiths, offered a bow, a profound sense of having truly returned washing over Vritra, a sensation of immense satisfaction.
"Well done, each of you has performed admirably," Vritra stated, acknowledging their role in safeguarding and overseeing everything during his absence.
Despite his prior efforts to eradicate all dark forces, he understood the inherent unpredictability of people, recognizing that numerous new factions might have already emerged.
Nevertheless, this did not concern him; with their current might, no one on this planet could stand against them.
The primary challenges, however, were expected to originate from beyond this world, as the adversaries they would confront after this victory were anticipated to be significantly more formidable.
'But for the time being, let us all simply unwind.'
The soul wraiths dissipated back into his shadow, while the other lord-rank guards transformed into stone, appearing indistinguishable from inanimate statues.
Just as Vritra was surveying his surroundings, several notifications materialized before him.
[You have received your rewards!]
[Please check them. If any issues arise, you may voice them.]
Identical messages appeared before all ten individuals, the rewards having been directly deposited into their inventories.
Vritra examined his inventory, discovering two orbs of varying sizes, each radiating escalating levels of power.
One was designated for level 2, the other for level 3 Demi-god, their combat prowess poised to surge instantly upon absorption.
"I perceive no issues with them," Yennefer declared, Yasmine and Teresa concurring with nods.
Yet, they made no haste to absorb their respective rewards.
Vritra turned his gaze back to the three women, each harboring destinations they wished to visit.
Their delay in departing likely stemmed from a desire for him to accompany them.
Having spent considerable time with his wives, he had come to realize that their true desires were often left unexpressed.
Consequently, he felt compelled to anticipate their unspoken expectations and then fulfill them.
After a brief contemplation, he spoke, "Yenni, let us go there first. Wifey, Tess, kindly wait for me a little longer."
"Very well, hubby," Yasmine replied with a smile, unbothered by such minor considerations.
"Mmm," Teresa hummed in assent.
"..." The empress regarded Vritra with an adoring gaze, the realization that he had discerned her unspoken wish igniting a strong desire to kiss him.
'Truly, I am blessed-' Yennefer, lost in a reverie while gazing at Vritra's countenance, was interrupted by his words.
"Yes, yes, you are indeed fortunate. Shall we depart now?" Vritra inquired, gently taking her delicate, warm hand.
For a fleeting moment, Yennefer experienced surprise. Had he somehow read her thoughts? How had he discerned her wish?
"Hmph, I wasn't thinking that, but… I am, in fact, lucky." Yennefer initially adopted a proud demeanor but ultimately could not refute his statement.
Vritra rolled his eyes as the pair ascended into the sky, their velocity so immense that none of the lords present could possibly track their movement.
"Yenni…" Vritra called out as they traversed the skies.
"Yes?" They observed the ground below, the tranquil scenery unfurling during their flight.
"How many elements are you currently capable of manipulating?" Vritra, who had harbored this curiosity for some time, had neglected to ask.
"Hmm, combining all the fundamental elements, along with numerous others, places the count at over ten. I believe I can manipulate all elements without encountering any limitations as of yet," she responded.
"That is truly remarkable. I have never encountered such an ability. Your physical constitution must be exceptionally robust," he commented.
Vritra extended his right hand, and a multitude of blood butterflies took flight in all directions, creating a spectacle that was both beautiful and unsettling.
These creatures had retained their inherent abilities from the apocalyptic planet, although Vritra himself did not possess the abilities he had acquired from other players.
However, this blood manipulation proved quite advantageous, complementing his already possessed, overpowered skill: dust manipulation.
That skill alone was already tremendously potent.
Yet, for the impending conflicts, further enhancements to all his skills would be necessary; dust manipulation unleashed at its full potential promised immense devastation.
"Yes, this is referred to as the Infinite Elemental Physique," Yennefer stated, lightly touching one of the butterflies as it fluttered away and vanished.
"Oh, it bears a name too? Did someone else possess it in the past?" he inquired, though Vritra doubted such a potent physique could reappear.
"Hehe, no, I bestowed that name upon it. Initially, it proved quite troublesome. When word of my ability to command multiple elements spread, numerous human organizations, demons, and other races launched assaults upon us."
Yennefer recounted, her expression growing grave.
She had endured the loss of her family and countless others to the demons, a tragedy that fueled her deep-seated hatred for them.
Despite having annihilated them all, Yennefer still found no solace, feeling as though some evildoers remained beyond her reach.
"I understand. I believe your abilities possess considerable potential for growth. Once we become embroiled in conflicts beyond our planet, you shall find your opportunities."
Yennefer nodded in response to his words. The greater their strength, the more beneficial it was for their kin.
As they conversed, the pair arrived at the resting place of Yennefer's parents, a location she had previously brought him to.
Upon their descent, Vritra gazed upon his blue-haired, stunningly beautiful, and slightly haughty wife.
He considered himself fortunate that she loved him enough to contemplate self-sacrifice.
Yennefer offered a gentle tug on his arm, interrupting Vritra's introspective thoughts.
The couple proceeded towards her parents' graves. Despite all she had endured, a pang of sorrow still accompanied her visits here.
Yet, this was a place she could not bring herself to avoid.
"Mother, Father, I have come to visit… with my husband," Yennefer spoke, her voice hushed.
Vritra encircled her shoulders with his arm, offering support.
"Do not worry, I shall cherish and protect her, always," he declared, holding her closely.
Yennefer felt a surge of happiness. She recounted their various escapades, detailing both the perilous encounters and the moments of shared joy.
They lingered for a while before she finally bid farewell to her parents, and the couple departed.
"Are you feeling alright?" Vritra inquired.
"...Yes." Yennefer affirmed with a nod, but he recognized what would truly lift her spirits. Taking her hand, he ascended into the sky.
Upon reaching the marketplace, the two alighted.
Employing Vritra's skill, 'Lost', the surrounding populace remained oblivious to their presence.
"Husband, aren't we returning? They must be waiting for us," Yennefer asked, a hint of confusion in her voice.
He paused before a shop, gesturing for her to wait a moment before entering. A minute later, Vritra emerged, two ice creams in hand.
The blend of coolness and sweetness would be quite delightful now.
"Ice cream?"
He possessed an uncanny ability to know precisely what she needed, even anticipating desires she herself was unaware of. Yennefer felt an overwhelming urge to simply nestle within his embrace.
It promised such comfort and security.
"Here, let us savor these while we fly leisurely," Vritra conjured a blood cart, and the two boarded.
It glided at a gentle pace as they chatted, taking in the tranquil surrounding scenery.
Soon, as the ice creams were finished, Vritra accelerated the blood cart's speed.
They could have reached their destination more swiftly by flying themselves, but he also wished to prolong their time together.
Subsequently, he would bring his wives to visit Gunter and Ava.
He found himself clad once more in attire fashioned from goop. Its strength was considerable, yet it would soon prove insufficient to match his escalating power level.
'It appears I must soon replenish you with more armaments,' Vritra mused. To enhance all his skills, he would also need to accrue greater sin points.
Although he currently possessed several million, acquired after that intense battle, he had yet to utilize them.
"Thank you, husband…" Yennefer conveyed her gratitude as they neared their home.
Vritra encircled her waist with his arms, drawing her nearer, their faces mere inches apart.
"Thanks for what? That is my duty. Of course, instead of thanks, perhaps you could bestow upon me your special rewards," he proposed, his gaze locking with hers.
Yennefer was not one for timidity; she stood out among his wives as one of the most forward, indeed, the one who most eagerly initiated intimacy with Vritra.
"That, I can continue to offer you, simply for being with me~" Yennefer leaned in, her arms encircling his neck as she pressed her lips against his.
Vritra gently nipped her lip before delving his tongue into her mouth, savoring her essence.
The kiss was brief, ending with Yennefer slightly breathless as they parted, a glistening trail of saliva connecting their lips.
"Husband, now that you mention it, before any further danger arises, perhaps I should focus on mastering additional elements," Yennefer suggested, remaining within his embrace.
The mere thought stirred a sense of excitement within her.
"Certainly, we will need to seek out more elements, and perhaps Divine can offer assistance," Vritra added. They separated and looked down.
"Mmm, but that is something we can contemplate later. For now, a long rest is precisely what we need," she murmured.
