After swiftly dismantling a military base and eliminating its corrupt leader, Vritra and his group journeyed to the mysterious beast cave to continue their quest. Upon entering the ominous underground site, they found themselves trapped in a dangerous area where abilities are suppressed and a sinister presence hidden in the ceiling hunts those who make noise. Trapped alongside their nemesis Morgan, the group faces a precarious standoff while thousands of giant eggs threaten to consume anyone who triggers a reaction. Seeking to gain the upper hand, Vritra tasks Shitless with inciting chaos among their enemies to test the deadly environment's rules.

WHACK WHACK WHACK

Morgan and his cohorts were positioned upside down, forced to endure their plight with their backs facing skyward.

They bit down hard on their own palms, desperate to muffle any cries of anguish while the deranged Baldy continued his relentless assault.

The madman initially utilized a whip to lash them with his full strength, each swing carving deep gashes into their exposed flesh.

Blood began to soak through their tattered garments rapidly.

'Damn you, Baldy, just you—ughhh w-wait, I’m going to kill you, you pathetic Baldy bastard!' They cursed silently within their minds, feeling utterly powerless to intervene.

"Muahahaha! How’s that for a taste? Now, it’s time for this spiked staff." Shitless then grabbed the jagged weapon and proceeded to pummel their hindquarters.

THUMP THUMP THUMP

The surrounding crowd instinctively flinched at the brutal display; the victims' rears were torn to ribbons, and many had even lost control of their bladders in sheer terror.

It seemed unlikely that any of them would ever be able to sit comfortably again, even if they somehow managed to survive.

"Focus your attention on Morgan," Vritra commanded, gesturing toward the man who was bleeding profusely.

"Hahaha!" Shitless spun around, snatched up a metal rod, and shoved it directly into Morgan’s rear.

He felt like a god in that moment, convinced he could do anything while his victims were unable to even beg for mercy.

While repeatedly striking Morgan, Shitless simultaneously belted another man with the spiked staff.

"Ahh—UWaaaaaah!" The man shrieked, only to be instantly hoisted away by those egg-like monstrosities.

The sight petrified the rest of the group. As Shitless continued his torture of Morgan and a handful of others, the remaining captives scrambled to keep their distance from the insane mutant.

'Fucking bastard, he’s humiliating us… ughh, damn it, I’m going to tear him to pieces—fuck, ughhh, stop! SOB, just stop, please…' Morgan sobbed, his frame covered in his own blood.

Just as Shitless prepared to drive the rod deeper into his victim, a single egg-shaped object plummeted from the ceiling.

THUD

The sound startled everyone, and soon after, the rest of the eggs began to descend in a chain reaction.

Panic ensued as some eggs consumed entire men, prompting Vritra to retreat alongside his wives.

Shitless also backed off, though the creatures seemed to treat him with a certain wariness, like they were avoiding a plague.

THUD THUD THUD

The eggs hit the floor and immediately began to roll at high speeds, advancing as a collective toward the walls.

They surged through the structure, boring a massive cavern before continuing on their path.

"The beast cave is open! Mmph—" one man shouted, though he immediately regretted speaking up, thankfully avoiding any immediate consequences.

"Let’s move!" Morgan bolted forward first, yanking the rod free and limping away in a bizarre, painful gait.

His group followed suit, each of them leaving behind a gruesome trail of blood.

The poor man had failed to recruit any other players, meaning he had been forced to rely on these few individuals, who were currently in no shape to engage in combat.

"Let's proceed," Vritra noted calmly. He easily could have ended Morgan and his men right there, but he refrained.

Killing them now would be too mercy-filled, and regardless, there was no escaping the confines of this cave.

"Was it truly wise to let him leave alive?" Teresa inquired, casting a look of pure loathing at their receding silhouettes.

She regretted not finishing him sooner; for the sake of her husband, she wouldn't have felt an ounce of remorse for harming any of them.

"Don't fret, his time is limited," Vritra replied, stroking her hair gently.

When did this gothic beauty transform into such a hotheaded woman?

They were destined to remain in this place for a considerable duration, and every other soul who had entered was undoubtedly beginning to regret it.

As the crowd began to thin, Vritra and his party finally initiated their movement.

"Halt right there!" a group of men suddenly rushed toward Vritra.

Since their abilities remained dormant, they deemed this the ideal opportunity to ambush someone and secure a victory.

Vritra regarded the dozen or so men with lethargy, observing them brandish knives and various rudimentary weapons.

'Hah, there’s never a shortage of fools eager to provide me with sin points,' he mused, drawing his spear.

"Just keep moving and leave the women behind if you value your lives!" one rogue declared, his gaze fixed hungrily on them.

Another idiot whose lust would ultimately lead to his undoing.

'Kekeke! Delightful! Die, you bastard. While your hands are full with them, I’ll be the one to claim the reward. I’ve heard it can grant immense power,' Morgan thought, hurrying ahead.

Upon passing through the cave, the groups discovered that the eggs had vanished to reveal a door.

It was a massive metallic gate, adorned with hundreds of intricate carvings depicting various beasts.

Did the Apocalypse really conceive such things? They all wondered.

The structure was as terrifying as it was awe-inspiring, yet for some, it signaled their chance to shine.

In this place, everyone had essentially begun on an equal footing.

With their abilities still suppressed, they avoided internal conflicts for the moment and heaved the door open.

To their surprise, the chamber beyond was well-lit.

They wandered inside, surveying the walls and the path ahead.

The walls appeared to be constructed from the very same eggs they had encountered previously.

In the center lay a circle capable of accommodating twenty people, while nothing but deep shadows awaited beyond it.

"What is this place? Where is the treasure? Are we supposed to head forward?" one man stammered.

"It’s your father’s grave, you idiot. The treasure is buried in his ass, and no, you need to dig down to find it! Who are you even asking, you bastard?" another retorted in a fit of rage.

"What did you say? You fucker, I’m going to beat you down and search you; perhaps the treasure is hidden in your ass!"

The first man replied, raising his fist in fury.

Both were standing within the confines of the circle, their tempers flaring uncontrollably.

"Huh? Why are they suddenly obsessed with another's backside?" those outside the circle wondered, failing to grasp the situation.

"It’s the circle! It’s inducing madness!" Morgan realized, breathing a sigh of relief that he was standing on the outside.

"Oh!" Upon hearing this, the others quickly dashed clear of the circle.

Instantly, they felt the fog lift; the circle was indeed the source of their agitation.

"Apologies, brother, for disrespecting your father’s final resting place; I didn’t mean it," the second man muttered.

"It’s fine. I insulted you too. I definitely won’t be digging inside you for the treasure." The two shook hands and shared a quick embrace.

They stood there in uncertainty, none daring to approach the eggs or venture into the encroaching darkness.

"Why don't we go ahead and investigate whether the treasure hides there?" Morgan suggested, sensing he might be able to manipulate the group.

If he could control them, turning them into sacrificial fodder would be simple, leaving the treasure for him to claim.

Vritra reached the massive door shortly after.

He scanned the scene from the threshold, then glanced back at his family.

"The fighting will commence shortly. Stay put for now, alright?" he said, gripping his spear.

"Be careful, honey," Vanessa whispered, gently tracing her son's cheek.

"Don't worry; I've survived far worse than this. It won't be an issue. Plus, as the Divine mentioned, there will be lulls between the waves of beasts."

After a brief conversation, he stepped through the doorway.

His startling arrival immediately captured the attention of everyone inside, who then proceeded to glare at the group waiting safely outside.
