Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 629 Mutant Flood

After hurling the group to safety on the opposite side, Vritra leaped back swiftly while the structure kept crumbling down.
Their landing was secure amid the thick blanket of snow, yet that very edifice began trembling fiercely too.
"What's happening?" Vanessa inquired, gripping the wall tightly.
"Something lurks beneath the surface. This could collapse as well—we must descend now!"
Vritra warned, scanning the area where several iced-over bodies caught his eye.
"Fiona, Yenni, warm them up." He commanded.
Without delay, the pair summoned flames that erupted outward, rapidly thawing the snow and exposing more than ten corpses in the resulting puddle.
Advancing ahead, Vritra harvested the sin points in haste before activating his blood manipulation ability.

In an instant, crimson fluid surged from the remains, weaving together into a sturdy, elongated cord.
He flung it across to the far side, yelling, "Grab hold and leap over—this place could give way at any second."
Shitless and Onest descended first. Vritra had thoughtfully shaped grips along the line, making it simple for them to cling on.
Fissures spiderwebbed across the structure, accompanied by several cries of alarm, though no aid was possible.
Once grounded, the group bolted off, heading toward a clearer expanse.
Yet, such a massive disturbance was bound to draw hordes of mutants their way.
Emerging from beneath the drifts, from shattered structures, and from far-off lanes, the creatures surged forth, charging in frenzy.
Other survivors who had escaped nearby edifices were soon overwhelmed and ripped apart.
"Damn it!" Vritra scanned frantically, spotting a ladder ascending a towering ten-story building.
"Head there at once." He directed, veering their path. Numerous mutants had already locked onto them.
However, the ladder only reached the second level.
ROAARRRR
A thunderous bellow echoed, flinging aside a swarm of mutants.
Revealed next was an enormous rodent, its coat bristling like razor edges and its legs elongated for superior speed.
Seconds later, countless mutants zeroed in on them, rushing over in a relentless wave.
Vritra, Yasmine, and the rest fired off strikes while fleeing, but the onslaught of beasts swelled endlessly.
They were merely a hundred meters or so from the ten-story tower when it abruptly swayed side to side.
GRAARRRRR
With a thunderous crash, the entire structure was yanked upward, unveiling the colossal mutant.
Since surrounding ruins cluttered its route, it simply hurled a whole building aside.
The ten froze in place, pulses racing. A torrent of mutants pressed from behind, while the behemoth loomed ahead.
'Damn it all, that six-month advantage is an insane edge. What now? What the hell can we do?' He fretted, eyes darting desperately.
"Husband, I can burrow a tunnel into the earth." Yennefer offered. Her earth affinity allowed such feats.
"Do it then—make it as profound as possible. Hold back just enough power to seal it afterward." Vritra replied, then retrieved the 100-liter petrol from his earlier prize.
Packaged in metal barrels clustered together, Vritra slashed one open with his machete, unleashing the fuel in a gushing stream.
The massive zombie detected the throng of mutants and the humans beyond. Oddly, the frenzied beasts refrained from devouring each other.
Striding forward with a mighty step, it advanced toward them, as the mutant flood nearly overtook the group.
"Into the pit—now!!" He bellowed, and the ten plunged into the excavation, roughly four meters in depth, while Yennefer persisted in deepening it.
"Fiona, ignite it! Yenni, seal the top!" Vritra ordered as they delved further.
Yennefer concentrated intently, the entrance starting to seal over. Just before it fully closed, a blazing bird soared upward, climbing high then plummeting back.
Enveloped in pitch black, they listened to the thunder of countless footfalls overhead. The zombie horde had arrived above.
For a brief instant, silence reigned, and then...
BOOOOM!!
The earth quaked violently as a massive fireball erupted skyward. Almost every mutant atop was shredded or incinerated.
The enormous mutant lost its arm and shoulder in the blast, reeling backward in a stumble.
Within the burrow, the group strained to prevent cave-in while Yennefer guided them deeper.
She then hollowed out a spacious chamber to the side, where they entered and finally eased their tension.
The entrance sealed shut immediately. Yennefer slumped in utter fatigue, perspiration drenching her lovely features.

…
A cascade of notifications appeared before Vritra, leaving him stunned.
The others sensed a soothing heat coursing through them too.
Their stats surged rapidly. Yennefer regained a sliver of her strength.
"Yenni, you okay?" Vritra caressed her face before pulling her into an embrace, their hearts hammering fiercely.
"Yes... just worn out a bit. But did that monster perish as well?" she wondered. The vision of the colossal beast had been terrifying.
"I don't think so—this blast likely wasn't sufficient to finish it off." Vritra responded, though thrilled by the bounty from this dire peril.
He reviewed the alerts, confirming no kill credit for the titan. It endured.

Vritra experienced the invigorating flow through his frame, his attributes jumping sharply.
Only spiritual lagged below 10, but the sin points haul was the true windfall.
After a quick deliberation, he declared, "Spend all sin points on 200 draws from the lottery."
BOOOM
ROAARRRRRR
A ferocious howl erupted from the surface suddenly. The giant mutant pounded the earth, intent on crushing them.
"Yenni, can you keep going?" he queried. Escape was urgent.
Yennefer affirmed with a nod, drawing a steadying breath before resuming. Her stats neared 10, easing the task somewhat.
As the spectral wheel spun in his vision, alerts flashed by in rapid succession.
Soon, all 81 prizes materialized, and Vritra sensed another boost to his capabilities.
Beyond ample provisions, he claimed attribute enhancements too.
'2 in Strength, 4 Agility, 3 Endurance, 4 Spiritual, plus 3 Free—that's fantastic!' He thought excitedly, as the non-free points integrated seamlessly.
Agility surpassed 20, strength hit 17, yet he held off assigning the free ones for the moment.
A refreshing chill filled his thoughts. Spiritual had crossed 10.
Its purpose remained a mystery to him presently.
"HUFF. We're safely distant now." Yennefer rasped, her energy nearly spent from the exertion.
Vritra steadied her promptly, his arm encircling her waist supportively.
"Thanks, Yenni." He murmured gratefully, offering her a water bottle with a warm smile.
They'd surface once the behemoth departed.
GRRRRRR
The ground trembled once more…
