Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 579 Seed

Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
Onest and Shitless return from their grueling six-month training, making a chaotic entrance that leaves Vritra’s antagonistic visitors injured and humiliated. Despite the tension, Sir Giant delivers an invitation to a grand wedding in the Ford Realm, an event expected to draw the leadership of the Golden Moon. Seizing the opportunity for a public confrontation, Vritra decides to shift his plans and strike during the ceremony. While Maeve begins her evolution under altered time, Vritra and his wives head toward the North to investigate the source of the strange weather.

While Maeve's evolution began, Diana and Vanessa dedicated themselves to their training, their power levels surging at a rapid pace.

Fiona, Yasmine, and Teresa opted to delay absorbing the core for a later time; instead, they exited their residence and traveled toward the northern regions.

A thick blanket of snow draped the entire landscape, while the atmosphere was choked with a mixture of flakes and spores, forcing the majority of the population to remain barricaded inside their homes.

“Husband, under such harsh circumstances, most people—especially those who are mundane—won't be able to survive, so…” Teresa remarked while they were in flight.

“So you wish to provide aid? In what manner?” Vritra questioned. He had no objections if it brought her peace of mind.

“I would require the assistance of numerous Lord ranks, though I can manage the rest. However, regarding the food…”

Teresa trailed off into silence. A massive amount of sustenance must have been spoiled due to the abrupt atmospheric shifts and the infestation of spores.

Feeding the entire population was neither a simple nor a realistic task; while she could regulate the temperature and deal with the spores, the food shortage was another matter entirely.

“That much will suffice. I am confident they can handle the remaining issues themselves, and since we are personally acquainted with all the Empresses, maintaining control over them will be simple,” Vritra noted. Given that the Empresses were his wives, exerting authority over everyone on the continent and beyond would be quite effortless.

Vritra came to a sudden halt, causing the three women to stop as well, looking at him with puzzled expressions.

“Hubby, what is it?” Yasmine inquired.

“I detect individuals up ahead. Perhaps they have arrived to investigate the situation as well.”

Vritra explained that, based on his perception, these people belonged to one of the organizations that had launched an assault against him during the conflict.

“Which organization do they represent?” Fiona asked, her combat instincts always sharp.

“The Divine Kage. There are two of them, and based on their power signatures, they should be ranked around eighty?”

Vritra estimated this to be accurate, assuming the hierarchy of strength within the Divine Kage remained unchanged.

“Let us go and see.”

They accelerated forward, moving in the same direction as the two men.

It didn’t take long for the two figures to notice the approaching group, causing them to pause and wait.

“Who are you?” Their countenances were obscured by masks, and their speech possessed that familiar robotic cadence.

“Well, well, it seems I am about to acquire two new wraiths.” Vritra saw no reason to play games or maintain a facade in their presence.

He had already slaughtered the Dragon Council and converted them into wraiths; he intended to do the same with these individuals.

The number of sentinels guarding his new residence was growing at a satisfying rate.

“What?” With a mere snap of his fingers, Vritra imprisoned the pair within a barrier, and his appearance shifted back to his pre-war form.

Horns sprouted from his head as a demonic aura radiated outward, terrifying the two combatants.

“V- Vritra Arclis?!! Reporting back to headquarters!” one of them exclaimed. Both attempted to transmit intel to their base, but they were unsuccessful.

“Haha, are you starting to feel the fear?” Vritra stretched his limbs and shed his coat. Passing the garment to Yasmine, he signaled for the women to step back.

Ending their lives would be effortless, but he wanted them to endure suffering first.

“Communication failure. Commencing combat.”

The air around the two shifted instantly as they drew their weapons and blurred toward Vritra’s flanks.

Their monotone voices echoed once more as they struck:

“Neutralizing the threat!”

“How pathetic…” Vritra sighed, shaking his head. He extended a finger and tapped the air directly in front of him.

Bursts of pale greenish energy erupted, causing fissures to tear through space and race toward the two men.

In an instant, their forms were shredded into thousands of fragments in a bizarre fashion, as if they were glass statues that had simply shattered.

They attempted to regenerate, but their efforts were futile; the green energy began to aggressively dissolve them, even though Vritra was using a mere fraction of his power.

After all, he possessed the core of a Level 3 Demi-God; these Divine Kage members were completely outclassed.

“Whoa!!” Teresa cried out, genuinely stunned by the display of his power.

Fiona and Yasmine merely smiled; in their eyes, Vritra was unrivaled in every aspect.

“Do you understand fear now?” Vritra’s freezing voice boomed, and the scattered pieces of their bodies began to convulse.

Their synthesized voices spoke again: “Target neutralization failed. Initiating retreat.”

Vritra let out a laugh as he watched the two try to flee, their very forms trembling with terror.

“Knight—” Vritra stopped himself, remembering that Knight was currently in the middle of a transformation. He corrected himself:

“Hellmancer, go and terrorize our prospective wraiths for a bit before bringing them back to me.”

“As you wish, Master…” Hellmancer bowed and flew toward the retreating body parts.

“Let’s move on.”

Vritra spoke as they resumed their trek. Previously, the Divine Kage—whose members were more powerful than any Lord—had been a formidable challenge for him.

Now, they were no threat whatsoever.

As they ventured deeper into the north, the temperature plummeted and the snow fell with even greater intensity.

The world was buried in white.

Vritra even observed a small demon village that had been completely encased in ice.

Several other hamlets were visible, where beasts and inhabitants alike had succumbed to the freezing cold.

Allowing warm air to flow over his hands, Vritra stopped as he finally reached the epicenter of the environmental shift.

He could sense the most intense turbulence emanating from that spot. Buried deep within the drifts was a translucent white stone.

“Hmm, keep your distance. I’ll investigate this,” Vritra instructed as he touched down, his feet sinking deep into the snow.

He stepped forward, and with a burst of energy, he cleared away the surrounding snowbanks.

The white stone was finally revealed in full.

“So, this truly isn't a natural phenomenon. However, it doesn't appear that the demons or the Twilight are the culprits.”

Vritra pondered this as he touched the frigid surface, feeling a rhythmic pulsation coming from within.

Driven by curiosity, he struck it with a punch.

BANG

Despite the force, the stone only sustained minor hairline fractures, proving its durability.

Vritra channeled his full strength, incorporating his mana along with a trace of the green mana, and struck again.

BOOOOOOM!!

A thunderous sonic boom echoed through the area, blasting the snow away in every direction.

The stone finally shattered, its shards scattering everywhere.

Revealed beneath was a peculiar, massive black cocoon.

Its exterior looked like coarse skin, and it throbbed rhythmically as if it possessed a heartbeat.

“Is this thing alive?” Vritra scowled, unable to sense its true nature.

He shaped a blade out of Goop and attempted to slash the object, but even that formidable weapon left no mark.

He delivered another punch with the same devastating force.

BOOOOOM!!

Despite the impact, the fleshy mass only vibrated slightly; it remained undamaged.

“Divine?” Vritra knew only one source could provide the answers he sought.

“This is a seed. It is sown on every world that is destined to undergo trials. And yes, this is the catalyst for the abrupt climate shift,” Divine replied.

“A seed? What is its purpose? Give me more details,” Vritra demanded.

“The seeds for each planet vary and are overseen by the gods. It remains dormant if you succeed in the trial, but should you fail, it will become the instrument of your world's destruction.

In any case, the primary function of the seed activates once the game truly begins,” Divine explained.
