Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill Chapter 572 TAK

Previously on Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill...
Vritra continues to plunder Zihong’s vault, securing a god-tier bloodline and physique for Maeve and a powerful planetary core that guarantees his wives a path to the demi-god realm. While the group prepares for a period of peaceful cultivation, the defeated Drino narrowly escapes total erasure by activating a contingency plan, possessing the body of a lizard to plot his eventual revenge. The raid concludes with the discovery of a mysterious, seemingly ordinary fishing rod that Divine claims is a stolen treasure of immense value. Armed with a massive haul of resources and status symbols, Vritra and his companions prepare to make their exit from the vault.

Vritra began by sending his wives and the fishing rod back into the divine realm. He intended to inspect the rod more thoroughly at a later time.

While he needed to organize all his acquired loot properly, his immediate priority was departing from the world's safest bank.

How hard could it possibly be?

Everything would proceed smoothly as long as he maintained his silence.

KNOCK KNOCK

"Sir, have you finished? I'm concerned we are nearing our allotted time," the gnome called out from beyond the door.

Vritra prepared to exit, but he performed one final scan of the locker to ensure no items were overlooked.

He had already recalled Pinky and Zengis.

Suddenly, his eyes caught a ball resting in a far corner. It lacked any protective barriers, which was why he hadn't spotted it initially.

Approaching the object, he picked up the ball; it was roughly the size of a tennis ball, lightweight and seemingly elastic.

"Is there something unique about this as well?" Vritra wondered aloud, reflexively bouncing it off the ground before catching it.

TAK

One…

"Indeed, it's a bomb," Divine answered. Vritra went still, gripping the ball with caution before asking,

"What is its destructive capacity?"

"It is powerful enough to eliminate a group of lords and could even severely wound a demi god at the initial stages. It’s quite potent.

Perhaps Zihong placed it here as a trap for anyone attempting to plunder his riches," Divine suggested.

"Understood. It might prove useful eventually." He attempted to store it within his inventory, but the ball refused to enter.

Frowning, he tried to place it inside the dimensional book and then the divine realm, but every attempt was unsuccessful.

"What is the issue?" Vritra muttered, scratching his head as he absentmindedly bounced it against the floor again.

TAK

Two…

"Naturally, it cannot be stored in any sub-space, not even within a barrier. That is why it was simply sitting in the corner. Zihong set a trap, but since you held the key, the bomb wasn't triggered," Divine explained.

"Hmm, I'd rather not leave such a lethal explosive behind. I'll bring it along," Vritra whispered. He figured he could use it against a powerful foe later, or perhaps test it on the Golden Moon.

To an uninformed observer, it looked like a common toy, so he doubted the gnome or the security detail would recognize its true nature.

Clutching the ball, he headed toward the door, which began to slide open automatically.

"Ah, you've finished. I was becoming anxious that something had occurred and was nearly ready to burst in," the gnome remarked cheekily, trying to steal a glance into the vault.

However, the internal barriers blocked his view entirely.

Vritra: "…"

TAK

Three…

The light sound of the ball striking the floor echoed, but the gnome merely continued his rambling as usual.

He gave the ball a brief, dismissive look. Gesturing forward, he said, "Sir Zihong, if you would follow me. I shall escort you out. Please let me know if you have any specific requirements."

Vritra began to walk at a leisurely pace, pausing just before the corridors.

TAK

Four…

It had been ages since he had engaged in such a simple habit. It felt surprisingly soothing. Vritra allowed his thoughts to drift while playing with the ball.

The gnome watched him and signaled one of the moving platforms to halt. They boarded it, and the device began its transit.

TAK

Five…

"By the way, sir, did you leave something in the vault? Sigh, I suppose you won't answer regardless. Many visitors have been coming to the bank recently since the new round of trials is about to start."

The talkative guide continued his endless stream of chatter.

TAK

Six…

'I wonder how much time has elapsed back on planet Zoratia…' Vritra mused. He had traveled an immense distance with Drino, crossing through various realms.

Fortunately, his wives were safe with him, so he felt no immediate anxiety.

TAK

Seven…

'Now I just have to wait for Yenni to emerge from that pill fragment. The soul potions and the energy source are prepared. I can assist her in fortifying her soul and fashioning a new body immediately,' Vritra thought. He was determined that this new vessel would be far superior to her previous one.

TAK

Eight…

The platform ride felt even longer than the ascent had been. The bank was clearly experiencing heavy traffic.

"Demi God Zihong, when do you plan to enter the sixth game?" the gnome inquired, though he was met with the same silence as before.

'I wonder how many games exist, and the process for ascending to godhood. What is the ceiling for a demi god's level?' Vritra wondered, though he didn't expect Divine to chime in.

TAK

Nine…

Unexpectedly, Divine responded this time, though his tone sounded strained, as if he were suppressing a fit of laughter.

"There are nine games in total, corresponding to nine levels. After that, in the tenth round, the victors must challenge the gods themselves.

Should they triumph, they take the place of the god they bested, while that deity enters an eternal sleep within the Tomb of Gods. Truly killing a god is nearly an impossible feat," Divine clarified.

'I see.' Vritra nodded. He then asked, 'But I am currently level 1, so will I reach level 2 after winning the first game? If I win nine games, wouldn't I be level 10, even though you said 9 is the limit?'

TAK

Ten…

"Well, your situation is unique. After the trial, one only reaches level 0 of a demi god; you only become a true demi god after the first game is won," Divine noted.

Vritra nodded as he finally grasped the system. He glanced down at the ball. 'So, how is this bomb activated? Does it require my blood or Qi to detonate?'

He tossed the ball toward the floor once more, ignoring the gnome's incessant talking.

"No, pfft, nothing like that. You simply have to strike it—hard or soft—eleven times, and it will detonate in an instant."

Divine's explanation caused Vritra to freeze. Exactly how many times had the ball hit the ground?

He did the math and…

TAK

"FUCK!!" His eyes bulged in terror as Vritra screamed at Divine in his mind. That scoundrel had known the truth from the very beginning.

The gnome was caught off guard. This demi god had been mute the entire time, only to suddenly burst out with a curse?

"S- Sir, is something wrong? Did my questioning offend you? I- I offer my deepest apologies. I shall remain silent from this moment—"

Vritra completely ignored him. The second the ball struck the floor for the eleventh time, it began to radiate a brilliant light.

It was too late for his Null ability. Even reversing time slightly would be useless against an explosion of this magnitude.

Vritra's mind raced, but there was no escape.

He couldn't store the device in his dimensional book, so he kicked the gnome away and leaped in the opposite direction.

The ball hummed for a heartbeat before a cataclysmic explosion rocked the entire bank, sending waves of destructive energy surging through the area.

The transport platforms were vaporized instantly as the scale of the devastation became truly horrific.
