Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability Chapter 3100: No Shame in Staying Longer

Junior Sister Jun retracted her hand from Little Junior Sister’s wrist, emanating a soft sigh. "The disciples of the Saintess Sect were exceedingly ruthless. Little Junior Sister has sustained severe internal injuries and has succumbed to shock. I can certainly concoct a prescription and refine some medicinal pills for her recovery."
She then turned her gaze towards Second Senior Brother and the others. "However, the necessary herbs are not currently in my possession, and I will need to procure them from outside." She harbored no desire to mend the consequences for Little Junior Sister; she felt strongly that the responsible party should address the issue. At the very least, she would not be footing the bill for the herbs; she would only offer her effort in refining the medicinal pills.
Upon hearing this, Second Senior Brother’s head swiveled to cast a look at Fifth Senior Brother. "I shall go and acquire them," Fifth Senior Brother promptly declared.
What other option did they have? They were the ones who had brought her along. If she were to perish, the blame would fall squarely upon them. At a minimum, they were obligated to escort the living Little Junior Sister back to the Sect.
"I would trouble Junior Sister Jun to provide the prescription."
"Very well," Junior Sister Jun agreed, nodding her head.
Yet, before she could commit the prescription to paper, a servant dispatched from the Qing Family arrived, escorting a pharmacist.
The pharmacist conducted a thorough examination of the young lady from the Bright Moon Sect. Her assessment echoed Junior Sister Jun’s findings but also revealed additional details that Jun had overlooked. "This young lady has suffered three fractured ribs, a broken leg bone, and there is also a bone fracture near her jaw."
Second Senior Brother listened intently to the Qing Family's pharmacist and then directed his attention back to Junior Sister Jun. Noticing his gaze, Junior Sister Jun could no longer feign ignorance and offered a nod. She had indeed observed these external injuries, but they appeared trivial to her. Furthermore, she genuinely wished to avoid excessive contact with Little Junior Sister. In her estimation, as long as the internal injuries were addressed, the external fractures could be mended with a few medicinal pills. A few extra days of recuperation would be the most that was required.
Witnessing Junior Sister Jun’s affirmation, Second Senior Brother drew a deep breath, his expression darkening considerably. What a nuisance; they were truly being burdened by Little Junior Sister during this training expedition. With such grievous injuries, how much longer would they be confined to the Saintess Sect Main City before they could resume their journey? Their purpose was training, not leisurely sightseeing. How could they possibly remain in one location for an extended period? Staying at the Qing Family's residence indefinitely was simply not an option they could consider without losing face.
It was an overwhelming headache, a truly agonizing predicament. "I must trouble the pharmacist. We shall entrust the treatment to you," he stated, bowing respectfully to the pharmacist. "It is absolutely no trouble," the pharmacist replied with a smile, appreciating his courteous demeanor. As a pharmacist supported by the Qing Family, she was obligated to assist whenever the family required her services. Moreover, she was aware that these individuals were guests of the Qing Family Head’s young grandson. Beyond that, any further inquiries were beyond her purview, and the circumstances surrounding the young lady's injuries were best left unaddressed; she had no need to know.
"Once I have refined the necessary medicinal pills, I shall arrange for them to be delivered. In the interim, please administer a Spirit-Nurturing Pill to this young lady," the pharmacist instructed, extracting a porcelain bottle from her person and presenting it to Second Senior Brother. "Thank you, pharmacist. Regarding the cost of these services...?" Second Senior Brother inquired directly, accepting the pill. He was not one to overlook propriety; even as guests, they should not accept gratuities without proper acknowledgment.
"There is no need. You are friends of the Eldest Young Master, and consequently, esteemed guests of the Qing Family," the pharmacist conveyed with a subtle nod before departing with a gentle smile. Once the room was vacated, an collective sigh of relief washed over them; the lingering sense of awkwardness finally dissipated.
