Dave landed in a dark forest for the Blacksmith Emperor's trial and mocked the small armored figure that confronted him. The dwarf transformed into a towering colossus, summoning rune-etched puppets armed with semi-god grade weapons. Dave effortlessly dismantled the puppets and dodged devastating hammer strikes, noticing the Emperor's calculated analysis of his movements before summoning chaotic energy to fight seriously.

The woods thrummed with the clash of steel and the thunder of toppling trees.

At the heart of the mayhem, Dave stood firm, his face etched with uncharacteristic gravity.

His golden skin emitted a soft luminescence as he popped his knuckles.

Opposite him on the field, the dwarf—now towering five meters high—propped himself on his molten hammer, eyeing the skirmish.

Strange energy pulsed from the earth beside him, birthing more puppets, all wielding arms that gleamed with lethal radiance.

"These aren't ordinary toys, boy!" the dwarf bellowed, his voice booming across the area.

"Every puppet has Semi-God artifacts crafted by the best! You may be strong, but you can't fight forever!"

Dave flashed a smirk, his gaze sweeping over the puppets encircling him.

"Endless, huh? Let's see who runs out of tricks first."

A puppet lunged forward, slashing a radiant sword toward Dave's chest.

He remained still. The blade collided with him and fragmented upon contact, shards dropping uselessly to the dirt.

"Not bad," Dave remarked, his smile broadening. "But not good enough."

Before the puppet could respond, his fist hammered its torso, pulverizing it in one blow.

Yet scarcely had it fallen when two others surged to take its place.

One brandished an axe as the other jabbed a spear toward him.

Dave seized the axe in mid-arc and mangled it with his grip alone.

As the weapon broke apart, the puppet detonated in an energy blast, compelling him to vault away.

"Exploding puppets now?" Dave grumbled, dusting off his shoulder.

"That's just annoying."

The dwarf roared with laughter.

"Annoying is the point, boy! My creations don't just hit hard—they'll wear you down bit by bit!"

Dave's piercing eyes shifted to the multiplying puppets. Weapons aglow with vast power adorned each one.

While the strikes failed to breach his golden skin, their raw might demanded his attention.

Yet another puppet charged, thrusting its spear at his flank.

Dave clutched the shaft, splintering it before delivering a punch that severed the puppet's head. "

These things don't stop, huh?" he muttered, evading the next assault.

The onslaught grew synchronized, the puppets acting with unified intent.

Dave danced amid the barrage, demolishing weapons and ripping apart metal frames. Even so, the relentless tide hindered his advance.

"Alright," Dave declared, eyes narrowing. "Time to stop playing."

He bolted toward the dwarf, trailing a golden streak in his wake.

But as he neared, a colossal puppet blocked his path.

Taller than its kin by double, its rune-etched armor shone brightly, hefting a gigantic hammer humming with ruinous force.

Dave's grin widened. "Now this looks interesting."

The behemoth puppet brought its hammer crashing down to pulverize him.

Dave lifted his arm to parry. The collision fissured the earth underfoot, yet he stood unmoved.

"Is that all?"

Dave mocked, seizing the hammer's haft and breaking it effortlessly.

He unleashed a devastating punch, breaching the puppet's chest and yanking free its luminous core.

Bam!

The titan toppled with a resounding thud, its form collapsing into scrap.

The dwarf's cocky smile faded as his prime creation crumbled. "Impossible… That puppet was my masterpiece!"

"Guess your masterpiece wasn't that great," Dave retorted mockingly.

Rage contorted the dwarf's features. A hand gesture ignited the forest floor more intensely.

Dozens of fresh puppets erupted from the soil, their armaments shining fiercer than prior.

Swift, keen, and deadlier, their motions sharpened.

Dave exhaled wearily, shrugging his shoulders. "Really? More of these tin cans?"

All puppets assailed simultaneously, their luminous blades whipping up a tempest of blows.

Dave evaded and retaliated with fluid, exact strikes.

His fists reduced metal husks to debris, but replacements endlessly filled the gaps.

"These weapons…" Dave murmured, snapping yet another spear.

"They're tougher than I expected."

An axe from another puppet grazed his shoulder, exploding on contact.

"They still can't hurt me, but breaking them isn't as easy as I thought."

The dwarf's smirk reemerged. "You're strong, boy, but even you have limits. My creations will outlast you, and when you're tired, I'll finish you myself!"

Dave brushed aside the jeer, concentrating on the fray.

He carved through the swarm with targeted punches and kicks.

Every strike hurled metal shards afar, though the ceaseless pressure barred his progress.

"Fine," Dave growled, irritation mounting. "If you want me to get serious, I will."

His fists tightened, a golden aura erupting around him.

The earth quaked as his might swelled, thickening the atmosphere.

The dwarf's eyes sharpened. "What's this? Finally showing me what you've got?"

Dave offered no words. His form vanished in a blur, a shockwave erupting as his punch vaporized a puppet.

Quicker now, he demolished the foes effortlessly.

Then, the survivors fused together.

Metal warped and melded into one enormous golem.

It loomed supreme, its hulking frame etched with myriad runes aglow. Grasped in its grip was a sword dwarfing all others, pulsing with utter devastation.

Dave tilted his head upward at the golem, grin resurfacing. "Now this is what I'm talking about."

The golem cleaved with its enormous sword, the swing birthing a blast that leveled trees and hurled boulders. Dave sprang aside, avoiding the cleave.

"Big doesn't mean better," he quipped, bounding onto the golem's limb and racing toward its summit.

The golem sought to dislodge him, but Dave soared higher, perching on its shoulder.

He drove a mighty fist toward the core, yet the plating proved thickest yet, yielding mere a dent.

"Huh," Dave uttered, flexing his hand. "This one's tougher."

The golem bellowed, quaking violently as it flailed to fling him away. Dave dropped back to terra firma with grace.

"Alright," he announced, his golden aura blazing fiercer. "Time to end this."
