Power of Runes Chapter 515: Tree of Origin
Previously on Power of Runes...
[Evangeline POV]
{The World Energy has adapted to the Inner Universe perfectly.}
Eva quietly analyzed the massive bundle of World Energy within Ash universe.
The amount gathered was nearly ten times greater than the size of an ordinary Angel’s Inner World.
After all, a normal Angel possessed an Inner World that was already around ten times larger than that of an ordinary mortal species.
Yet, the amount of World Energy she had prepared wasn’t merely enough to recreate an Angel’s Inner World.
Instead, she had accumulated nearly ten times that amount, meaning the world she was about to create for Ash would ultimately be almost a hundred times larger than that of an ordinary mortal species.
Of course, such a thing was only possible because Ash himself was unique.
His existence could not be compared to anyone else, and there simply wasn’t another being like him anywhere within the Infinite Dimensions.
His Race was one of the Unique Races that did not exist anywhere else.
If he continued walking this path of World Creation, then perhaps one day he would truly transcend everything and leave this Fake Dimension behind once and for all.
Though...
That day was still a long way off.
Even now, Eva had no idea what Ash clones were doing outside.
Fortunately, there was no need for her to waste her consciousness on those matters, because everything within the Inner Universe was proceeding exactly according to the plan.
Three enormous bundles of World Energy quietly floated within different regions of the Inner Universe.
One had already completely adapted to the energy signature of the Inner Universe and could be used at any moment.
Even if it were to be exhausted completely now, it would instantly recover on its own, just like the Void energy within the Inner Universe.
Meanwhile, the remaining two bundles were still slowly adapting and would require a little more time before they could be used.
Observing the constant stream of acquired Inner Worlds entering the Inner Universe for the past few days, Eva knew everything outside was progressing smoothly.
There was simply no need for her to divide her attention any further.
At the same time, Ash’s Soul Refinement continued strengthening his Soul while also accelerating the production of Will Power, causing both processes to complement each other perfectly.
{In around four more days, there should be enough Will Power to create the second Immortal Seal. However, just to be safe, I’ll wait a total of seven days. }
{Once the Second Immortal Seal is formed, Ash’s Soul will be nourished once again, and the production rate of fresh Will Power will increase even further.}
Normally, every additional Immortal Seal placed a greater burden upon the Soul, causing the generation of Will Power to gradually slow down.
However, if the Soul itself continued becoming stronger at an even faster rate, then not only would the production of Will Power not decrease, but there was even a possibility that it would continue increasing instead.
The probability of such a thing happening was only around 10%
But with Eva overseeing every calculation and adjustment...
That 10% was practically a certainty.
The previous 1 year window just to gather enough Will power was cut to short 10 days, one can imagine how powerful the Soul Refinement Techniques were.
Or rather, the synergy between these techniques was even more than perfection.
Everything was progressing exactly as planned.
The chaotic World Energy continuously tempered Ash’s body, while at the same time increasing his adaptability toward it, allowing the remaining World Energy to synchronize with the Inner Universe even faster.
Meanwhile, his Soul continued undergoing refinement, his Runic Weapon Arts and Movement Arts remained in constant simulations, and even the production of Will Power steadily increased with every passing moment.
Everything had already entered a stable cycle.
Which meant...
There was only one thing left to do.
{Let’s create the first World.}
As soon as that thought crossed her mind, Ash’s Domain silently enveloped the massive sphere of World Energy.
It was the same Domain...[Cradle of Endless Worlds]
And now...
This cradle was finally about to receive its very first World.
{According to the simulations, there is no need for an Energy Core as I first presumed. Even without one, it is still possible to create a World using only World Energy and the Domain. The only true requirement is a sufficient amount of normal energy, and the Inner Universe possesses more than enough to satisfy that condition.}
As those thoughts surfaced, Eva gently placed a tiny fragment of the World Tree’s bark into the center of the massive sphere of World Energy before Ash’s Domain slowly began contracting around it, wrapping around the sphere layer by layer as though nurturing something that was about to be born.
{Then there is the World Tree Universal Scripture...}
{Normally, when a person forms their Inner World, they plant a seed or a part of a World Tree within it. Doing so gives birth to the World Tree over time, that in turn greatly enhances the World’s stability while continuously nourishing , providing various benefits such as increased Soul Energy recovery, faster Will Power regeneration, enhanced regeneration, and many others. It is undoubtedly an excellent enhancement to have, and with Ash’s World being this enormous, it would definitely require a World Tree to stabilize it perfectly and provide positive feedback to his body.}
Eva paused for a brief moment before continuing her analysis.
{But unlike everyone else, Ash won’t possess just a single World. After all, the number of Worlds he possesses will only continue to increase over time, and creating a separate World Tree for every single World would be highly inefficient.}
At this point, Eva was merely talking to herself.
Over the countless years she had spent within the Soul Space, she had unknowingly developed the habit of speaking her thoughts aloud.
Of course, her voice was never loud enough for anyone else to hear, and only Ash himself could listen to her quiet murmurs whenever she entered one of these long chains of thought.
{In fact, there would have been no solution to this problem at all if Henry had not passed his knowledge on to Ash.}
Ash had not gone through all that knowledge, but left a major portion of it for Eva and from within those memories, she found a solution.
Within the Infinite Dimensions, countless World Trees existed, each possessing extraordinary abilities capable of nourishing and stabilizing an entire real living worlds.
However, if there was something known as a World Tree, then wasn’t it natural to wonder whether an existence even greater than a World Tree also existed?
There was.
Or at least...
That was what the ancient legends claimed.
The Tree of Origin.
It was said to be the source from which all World Trees originated, an existence capable of creating countless Worlds, galaxies, universes, realities, and even entire Dimensions.
According to those same ancient legends, every World Tree possessed the potential to eventually evolve into the Tree of Origin, though such a possibility had always remained nothing more than a legend.
After all, from the beginning of recorded history until the present day, not a single person had ever seen or encountered a Tree of Origin, making its very existence questionable in the eyes of countless people.
Compared to such a mythical existence...
Finding a World Tree was far, far easier.
{I am not sure whether Ash’s ability would be enough to evolve a World Tree into the Tree of Origin.}
Even so, Eva had no choice but to try.
If it worked, then the problem that had troubled her for so long would be solved.
If it didn’t, then she would simply have to search for another solution in the future or leave things as they were.
After all, even without the support of a World Tree, it wouldn’t affect Ash’s growth to any significant extent.
However, that didn’t mean those benefits could be underestimated.
After all, the boost provided by a single World Tree might not seem particularly overwhelming, but if one were to multiply those benefits across thousands, or even tens of thousands of Worlds, the accumulated enhancement would become nothing short of absurd, to the point where it could only be described as a broken cheat.
As Eva continued pondering over the problem, Ash’s Domain never stopped moving.
It continued contracting around the enormous sphere of World Energy, gradually shrinking its size while continuously increasing the pressure contained within.
The vast amount of World Energy was compressed further and further as the Domain itself acted like an invisible shell, steadily forging the very foundation of a true World.
At the same time, although the entire process was taking place deep within Ash’s Inner Universe, a minute portion of that terrifying pressure that came from that compression still escaped through his body and leaked into the outside world.
The fluctuation was incredibly faint, so faint that an ordinary expert wouldn’t have noticed it at all.
Yet, the very moment it appeared, the surrounding space began trembling almost imperceptibly, as though the fabric of reality itself had sensed the birth of something that should never have existed within the Fake Dimension.
After all, what was taking shape wasn’t an ordinary World, but one nearly a hundred times larger than what should have been possible.
Eva, however, paid no attention to the outside world, her entire consciousness remaining focused on the World that was gradually taking shape before her.
As time continued to pass, the Domain kept contracting further and further, compressing the boundless World Energy until eventually there was nothing left of the Domain itself.
In its place floated a small black sphere, no larger than a football, yet compressed to its absolute limit.
Despite its modest size, the pressure radiating from it had reached an unimaginable level, so overwhelming that even the ground in the outside world began cracking apart at a terrifying rate as the surrounding space distorted under its weight.
Without wasting a single moment, Eva instantly infused the sphere with the knowledge of the Runes.
They would become the foundation of this World.
Instead of relying on the natural Laws that governed ordinary Worlds, Eva intended to use the Runes themselves to establish balance and define the Laws of this World.
The moment that knowledge merged with the sphere, countless Runic Symbols began appearing across its pitch-black surface, one after another, intertwining and connecting as though they had always belonged there.
Then...
BOOM!!!
