Ash's soul space manifested, displaying a dark sea and a Soul Tree. A runic web contracted, intensifying its brilliance. A massive Tai Chi symbol formed in the sky, dividing into black and white halves. Black and white fishes emerged from the sea, forming pairs that circled each other, creating countless Tai Chi symbols on the water's surface. Two colossal dragons, one black and one white, appeared from the sky symbol and began to circle the golden tree projection. The fishes merged, forming 25-petaled lotuses across the dark sea. As the runes converged into Ash's consciousness, dark clouds gathered, and purple lightning began to appear, signaling an incoming Heavenly Tribulation.

[Moments before the prelude]

An unusual congregation had formed on the ocean surrounding the island. Though unacknowledged, the palpable stillness radiating from the heavens and the weighty atmosphere below plainly signaled that a significant event was imminent, as though the sea itself were pausing in anticipation.

Figures materialized from every conceivable direction, ascending from the aquatic depths to stand upon the water's surface. Each maintained a respectful distance, yet no one dared to make the initial approach towards the landmass. It was as if an unspoken pact compelled their hesitation, their gazes irresistibly drawn by an identical, inexplicable pull none could resist.

The vanguard to fully manifest were the Shark Kin.

Towering and broad-shouldered, their skin bore subtle, scar-like markings sculpted by the ocean's currents. Their eyes, sharp and perpetually restless, seemed to eternally seek out vulnerabilities, never settling for a moment, constantly surveying their surroundings.

Their leader stood foremost, his upper body bare, revealing the visage of a shark. Yet, his form pulsed with such potent energy that any notion of weakness was unthinkable. The water beneath his feet vibrated subtly under the immense pressure he exuded, sending minute ripples outward that gently disturbed the otherwise placid surface.

Behind him, hundreds of other Shark Kin stood poised upon the water, awaiting a signal. Their collective presence felt heavy and imposing, a formidable force held in absolute stillness, like a coiled spring restrained only by sheer discipline.

"So, this isle is the epicenter causing the oceanic flux. Yet, I perceive nothing extraordinary about it," he murmured, a subtle thread of excitement woven through his tone. His eyes narrowed fractionally as he attempted to penetrate the veil of the unseen, repeatedly probing the limits of his perception, already contemplating possibilities.

Thanks to the Concealment Runes meticulously laid by Ash, the assembled figures around the island observed nothing out of the ordinary. To their senses, the island presented as merely an empty expanse of land fringed by agitated waters, a stark contrast to the disturbances they undeniably felt.

Nevertheless, the persistent waves emanating from the island were impossible to disregard, amplifying the intrigue. This very paradox served to capture their attention even more profoundly, compelling even the most patient individuals to remain keenly alert and cautiously watchful.

Not far from his position, the water parted with a gentler ripple. The ambient tension in that specific area eased perceptibly, as if acknowledging a different caliber of presence – one that did not impose itself forcefully but was nonetheless respected.

Another distinct figure emerged.

Ocean Elves.

Beings fundamentally distinct from their terrestrial counterparts, they represented one of the rarest and most ancient lineages within the oceanic world. Their very existence was imbued with a profound historical resonance that few could truly comprehend.

Approximately thirty to forty Ocean Elves were present, guided by a captivatingly beautiful woman at their head.

Her form was slender and elegantly proportioned, her self-assurance evident in her poised demeanor. Her shoulders were delicately narrow and smooth, flowing into graceful arms that appeared lithe yet possessed an understated strength, her posture unwavering and composed at all times.

Her skin, a deep cerulean hue, was soft and unblemished, adorned with faint, scale-like patterns that cascaded across her body. These markings merged seamlessly with her form, catching the light in subtle ways and shifting gently with her movements. Delicate golden lines traced paths across her arms and shoulders, emitting a soft luminescence, like gentle threads beneath the surface, bestowing upon her an almost ethereal aura that was captivating without being overwhelming.

Her figure displayed soft, natural curves, devoid of sharp angles or exaggerated features, presenting a harmonious and balanced silhouette. Her neck was long and refined, enhancing her tranquil presence, complemented by simple golden adornments resting against her skin. Her long, thick hair, the color of the deepest sea, added an enigmatic allure to her appearance, swaying subtly as if moved by the ocean's own will, lending her a fluid grace even in stillness.

She directed a glance towards the Shark Kin leader, who had been the first to arrive, and spoke, "Ah, the brutish types are already present. Well, you certainly are swift. I had anticipated you might reach here before us, though I didn't expect your arrival this early. It seems you waste no time."

The Shark Kin leader offered a faint chuckle. "Your commendation is appreciated. However, I was unaware this island held sufficient significance to draw the attention of an Elf Princess herself. It appears the circumstances are more intriguing than I initially surmised, or perhaps more complex than they seem, which only enhances the appeal."

Though the Ocean Elves were considered a rare and enigmatic race, the Shark Kin were certainly not to be underestimated. They were known for their brute strength, and with the current Alliance in place, the Ocean had achieved a period of relative calm, a delicate equilibrium that neither side was eager to disrupt without substantial cause.

"I must admit, I did not anticipate your people sending their greatest Genius here, nor did I expect to encounter you myself. Furthermore, the situation we face... it is not to be taken lightly," the Ocean Elf Princess stated, her voice unwavering yet filled with contemplation, as if she were already analyzing potential outcomes. Her gaze remained fixed on the island, searching for something beyond the visible realm.

"After all, anything that possesses the power to impact the Ocean to its very extremities cannot possibly be an ordinary matter."

The Shark Kin leader emitted a soft chuckle. "You have a tendency to imbue things with more depth than they possess. I came because my instincts told me I would witness something significant, and I rely on that gut feeling above all else, even when it leads me into predicaments, which it frequently does."

"And you invariably choose to disregard any consideration of what lies beneath the surface. I expect nothing less from a brute such as yourself," she retorted without turning, her eyes still fixed on the island. Her tone remained tranquil, yet a subtle sharpness underscored her words, suggesting a long-held acceptance of their fundamental differences.

Before their exchange could extend further, a new presence announced itself. The very water seemed to react, as if a far more consequential entity had just arrived. The surrounding currents visibly decelerated, a silent acknowledgment of its approach.

A contingent of figures emerged from the ocean's depths.

Their forms were tall and elegantly proportioned, their skin possessing a subtle, pale luminescence that seemed to emanate from within rather than from an external source. Their eyes were devoid of color, appearing almost vacant, yet they held an unfathomable depth that made sustained eye contact unsettling, subtly pressing against the observer's mind.

The Sirens had arrived.

Their numbers were few, barely exceeding a dozen individuals. Yet, with their appearance, the ocean's agitated movements in the vicinity grew still, as if the sea itself were attending to them with rapt attention.

Leading them was a woman whose long, dark tresses flowed around her like a silken veil. Her form was captivating enough to enthrall any onlooker, and combined with her serene, almost detached demeanor, she resembled a celestial being beckoning for conquest. However, the profound stillness in her eyes hinted at a far more formidable power concealed beneath the tranquil facade.

Her gaze first swept over the island. Her eyes momentarily shifted to a golden hue before the glow subsided, as if she had briefly perceived an unseen truth inaccessible to others.

Then, at last, her attention turned to the assembled company.

"So, you others have arrived as well," she declared, her voice melodious yet imbued with a familiarity that indicated prior acquaintance. Her tone was as calm as if this gathering had been anticipated.

The Shark Kin leader expelled a low breath, bordering on a scoff. "If something causes the ocean to stir in such a manner, how could I possibly stay away, Seris?" he responded, uttering her name with an easy familiarity. His sharp eyes briefly met hers before returning to the island, his focus clearly heightened.

The Ocean Elf Princess observed the exchange, a faint smile gracing her lips. "You two continue to converse as if nothing ever changes," she remarked, her voice light, though her expression remained pensive. "The last time you two met, I recall the conclusion was somewhat... less tranquil than this occasion, if memory serves."

The Shark Kin leader offered a slight smirk. "That was merely a misunderstanding."

Seris offered no overt reaction, though her gaze briefly settled on him as she spoke. "You refer to the destruction of my personal island as a mere misunderstanding?"

"It was," he avowed shamelessly, appearing almost embarrassed by the recollection, yet offering no denial, as if he genuinely believed his own assertion.

The Ocean Elf Princess gently shook her head, her expression serene but tinged with amusement. "You truly never change."

Before the atmosphere could solidify further, the ocean underwent another significant shift.

The water beneath them demonstrably lowered, a sensation keenly felt by all present. It was as if a colossal entity had stirred in the depths, its sheer presence exerting a downward force on the ocean, generating a subtle yet undeniable pressure that radiated outwards.

Then, ascending from the abyss, another group emerged.
