Ash reviews Snow's drastically evolved status, discovering her new 'Dream' affinities and abilities which allow her to grow exponentially. Snow explains her instinctual methods of harvesting dreams to power herself, admitting she has died and been revived multiple times. Ash contemplates the implications of Snow's status, particularly her 'Dream Vault' which can store even Runes, and feels a sense of impending conflict as he prepares to absorb a new Rune.

A crimson drop met the Sacred Trident, vanishing into its surface as if it had awaited this very instant. Seizing the moment, Ash declared the final Rune's true name within Akumia's presence.

"Rune of Gravity!!"

Instantly, the trident's aura erupted, its luminescence intensifying to a blinding degree. A multitude of symbols, alternating between black and violet, materialized and dissolved rhythmically across its form. Gradually, the weapon lost its solid structure, melting into a fluid cascade of dark and vibrant hues.

Then, in a flash, it dissolved, dispersing into the surroundings at the speed of light.

Ensconced within his Soul Space, the integration proceeded with an unnerving fluidity. It felt as though fate itself guided the process as the Rune seamlessly merged with his soul, evoking a tremor in Ash's physical form.

An potent and pure essence, its origin unknown, coursed through him. It flowed through his veins, penetrating his very blood, bones, muscles, eyes—every fiber of his being—leaving no part untouched as it advanced with an inexorable tide.

Euphoria.

An indescribable yet profound sensation enveloped him. His senses heightened, a soothing warmth bloomed within, and simultaneously, an undeniable surge of newfound power emanated from his core.

He could sense it.

His strength was escalating.

This realization alone stunned him, for such a direct and overwhelming augmentation of power had never occurred before, save for the Rune of Balance and a select few others.

The transformation he experienced now was on an entirely different plane.

Abruptly, without any conscious effort on his part, a profound clarity settled upon his mind. It felt as if an internal amnesia had lifted, granting him comprehension of the unfolding events.

Ash was rendered speechless, not for lack of words, but because the magnitude of his understanding defied simple expression.

His body, he deduced, had been fundamentally rebuilt with the Runes' assistance, forging a unique constitution that even his Eye of Omniscience struggled to fully comprehend. The newly surfaced knowledge indicated that with each subsequent Rune absorbed, their influence would extend beyond his soul.

They would integrate into his entire existence.

They would permeate his blood, his genetic code, his very bones, and every layer of his being, commingling with the existing Runes, becoming an intrinsic part of him.

The notion felt utterly extraordinary.

Ash's eyes blazed with an inner light, resembling distant constellations, yet the depth of that glow surpassed any celestial comparison.

At that precise moment, his heart resonated.

As the Rune's energy flowed into the nascent universe within him—a realm of pure emptiness, space, and void—a peculiar pressure began to radiate outwards, spreading like silent ripples across this internal cosmos.

The very fabric of space responded.

Yet, this was the extent of his perception.

Despite the transformations occurring within this miniature universe, Ash lacked the acuity to fully grasp or observe them. However, one certainty solidified:

His energy reserves had expanded.

Ash's heart, akin to a self-contained universe, held a finite yet inexhaustible energy supply. While the nature of this energy remained unchanged, its capacity had dramatically increased.

Employing an analogy, if his heart was a vessel and its energy the water, previously the vessel possessed a fixed size, allowing for endless reuse of the water. Now, post-Rune of Gravity assimilation, that vessel had expanded significantly.

It had grown larger.

And the energy within it was rising, gradually filling this newly acquired space without cessation.

The precise origin of this influx remained elusive to Ash.

He understood the immutable law of energy conservation—that it could neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed. With this principle in mind, the Rune of Gravity presented itself as the only plausible source for this added energy.

The sensation of burgeoning strength lingered for a time before gradually subsiding, as his body settled into a more tranquil state. Yet, this was merely the prelude. In the very next instance, his Soul Space convulsed, as if a profound disturbance had been initiated from its depths.

The already immense Soul Tree began an accelerated growth, its presence steadily expanding. Its branches unfurled further, while the dark waters encircling it churned tempestuously, reacting to this sudden surge as ripples repeatedly emanated across the surface.

Concurrently, new leaves began to sprout.

Violet-black leaves unfurled across the tree, mingling with the already abundant multi-colored foliage that adorned its branches. This peculiar contrast imbued the entire tree with a sense of enhanced vitality, as if it had undergone a profound, albeit silent, transformation.

The tree's growth did not cease immediately, but once it stabilized, and the Soul Tree returned to its quiescent state, the surrounding atmosphere grew perceptibly heavier and richer, akin to a fundamental strengthening having occurred.

Ash exhaled slowly.

A subtle feeling of contentment permeated him, and involuntarily, a small, irrepressible smile graced his lips, his eyes mirroring a quiet sense of exhilaration.

Without delay, he accessed his Status Window, his concentration intensifying as his gaze swept over the displayed information. Almost instantaneously, he detected the alterations.

These were not insignificant changes.

The first aspect that drew his attention was the Affinity section.

[Affinity]

Lightning • Life • Death • Space • Time • Blood • Aether • Fire • Water • Ice • Earth • Void • Darkness • Shadow • Light • Corruption • Curse • Gravity (NEW!!!)

A new affinity, Gravity, had manifested. This was hardly surprising, given his recent absorption of the Rune of Gravity. Nevertheless, observing it clearly laid out caused his gaze to linger for a fleeting moment as he absorbed the information.

Continuing his perusal, allowing his eyes to drift further down the window without haste, another change captured his notice, one that subtly sharpened his focus as he leaned in closer.

═══════ " ATTRIBUTES " ═══════

[Vitality] – 1250

[Intelligence] – 1250

[Stamina] – 1250

[Charm] – 1250

[Energy] – ∞ (Infinite)

All his attribute points had surged by 250. With this single enhancement, he had now surpassed the ranks of Demi God individuals, his overall power undeniably exceeding that of a typical Demi God without question.

Naturally, this comparison did not encompass Transcendents or other high-tier races, as their inherent limitations far exceeded those of beings originating from the realm of Eden, creating a disparity too vast for simple judgment.

Even so, this represented a distinct milestone, and what amplified its absurdity was the ease with which Ash had achieved it. It was as if an accomplishment requiring years for others had been attained by him in mere moments.

It was crucial to recall that Ash had not yet condensed his Divine Soul, nor had he established his own Domain. Yet, he now possessed the might and power to confront an individual at the God Rank.

At the very least, even if victory in a direct confrontation was unlikely, he now possessed the capacity to evade someone of that caliber, an ability that in itself should not be underestimated.

His gaze descended further, encountering information he was particularly eager to see: the description of the Rune of Gravity. His focus naturally narrowed as his eyes settled upon it, his attention sharpening unconsciously.

Ash had no prior knowledge of its capabilities. In the original novel, Ray had only acquired it after Akumia's destruction, and Ash had stopped reading thereafter, leaving this particular aspect entirely unknown to him.

Consequently, his anticipation was palpable, a quiet sense of expectation building within him as he examined the provided description.

Item Name: Rune

True Name: Rune of Gravity

Description: A complete Rune embodying the fundamental force that binds existence itself. Gravity is not merely weight, but the silent authority that holds worlds in place, bends space, and governs motion. It is said this Rune carries the echo of an ancient will that once refused to let existence remain scattered, giving rise to the force that anchors all things to reality.

This Rune bestows dominion over attraction, pressure, and the unseen pull that shapes the movement of all things. To bear it is to stand as a fixed point in a moving universe, where even the chaos of destruction is drawn inward and subdued, unable to escape the quiet command that all things must return to a center.

Passive Effect: Gravitational Singularity

- Locks the user as an absolute center of gravity. All incoming forces, attacks, and effects are drawn inward and confined solely to the user, preventing any impact or damage to the surrounding environment. The total force remains unchanged, but all dispersion is nullified.

By anchoring themselves and distributing the impact across their entire body, the user can endure even attacks from higher-ranked opponents, though it results in severe internal damage.

Ash gasped, almost forgetting to breathe. The information he had just absorbed was utterly astonishing, sufficient to momentarily stun his mind as he attempted to process it.

The description itself was significant, but the Gravitational Singularity ability was on an entirely different level, something that immediately stood out the moment his eyes fell upon it.

A solitary inspection revealed to Ash that this capability possessed layers of complexity, extending beyond mere defensive functions. Its inherent depth suggested a much wider scope of application and latent potential, mysteries yet to be unveiled.
