Peach Blossom Divine Medical God Chapter 1947 - 1941: Expansion of the Daoist Temple

For several silent minutes, the oppressive atmosphere was finally broken by Ao Min. He spoke up, stating, "Uncle of my little brother, my sentiments echo my little brother's. At this juncture, Liuhe Village presents the most suitable sanctuary for your alliance. You are left with no alternative."
He continued, "I endorse my little brother's proposal for three distinct reasons."
"Firstly, Liuhe Village's remoteness naturally shields it from the prying eyes of Blood Bat Hall."
"Secondly, the village boasts exceptional feng shui, an environment conducive to regaining strength and amplifying power."
"Thirdly, its proximity to my little brother and myself ensures that should any incident arise, we can swiftly provide aid, thereby safeguarding your security. You need not harbor excessive concerns."
Ao Min's rationale was undeniably compelling.
Upon hearing his words, the alliance members felt a surge of longing. All they truly desired was a secure haven to recuperate, which would furnish them with the means to exact future vengeance.
Each member bore a profound, unyielding blood feud against Blood Bat Hall. Following the events of the previous day, their detestation for the organization had intensified immeasurably.
Without avenging this deep-seated hatred, they acknowledged that true peace would remain elusive!
However, they hesitated to voice their thoughts, their gazes fixated solely on Chen Tianmin, awaiting his ultimate decision.
"Uncle, there is no need for deliberation. Liuhe Village is unequivocally our sole viable option. For the sake of maintaining a low profile, I shall arrange for everyone to reside within the Green Cloud Taoist Temple, adopting the attire of Taoist disciples daily. This deception will ensure that no one directs undue attention toward you," Chen Yang implored, his words aimed at persuading the still-silent Chen Tianmin.
Ao Min, grasping the implication, added, "Precisely so, Uncle of my little brother. The venerable elders at Green Cloud Temple are actively seeking new disciples. If you present yourselves as ordinary Taoists, your presence will pass unnoticed."
A flicker of understanding crossed Chen Tianmin's face, yet a lingering worry remained. "Will this plan truly succeed?"
"Without a doubt," Chen Yang affirmed with unwavering confidence.
After a period of internal turmoil, Chen Tianmin finally acceded to Chen Yang's proposal, agreeing to relocate to Liuhe Village.
"Very well, Yang Zi, we shall establish a temporary base in Liuhe Village. Should any sign of peril emerge, we shall enact an immediate evacuation," Chen Tianmin declared.
Witnessing Chen Tianmin's consent, a collective smile of relief spread across the faces of all present.
"Excellent, then we shall commence our departure tonight," Chen Yang announced.
"Uncle of my little brother, your wisdom is truly commendable, and I hold you in high regard. We shall soon be neighbors, and I anticipate many opportunities to learn and converse with you," Ao Min expressed with a warm chuckle.
Qiu Hongguang, He Xiran, Pei Yong, and the other members of the alliance voiced their profound gratitude to Chen Yang. Having been rescued twice under dire circumstances and now offered such a secure refuge, they felt their appreciation was more than warranted.
"You are most welcome, everyone. Since the decision has been made, I urge you to return to your quarters and rest. We shall embark on our journey at nine tonight, leaving the county and heading towards Liuhe Village," Chen Yang stated with resolute finality.
"Understood, we shall take our leave then."
Qiu Hongguang offered a nod and a smile, leading Pei Yong out of the room first.
Subsequently, Chen Tianmin exchanged a few final words with Chen Yang before also departing.
Shortly thereafter, only Chen Yang and Ao Min remained within the confines of the room.
Chen Yang paused for a moment of reflection before turning to Ao Min. "Ao Min, I have had no prior contact with the elder there. Once the alliance members are comfortably settled, it would be prudent for you to notify him in advance, allowing him to mentally prepare for their arrival."
"Very well, I shall return immediately and speak with the elder," Ao Min readily agreed.
"Indeed, ensure you convey the situation with absolute clarity," Chen Yang instructed.
"I understand. I shall depart now."
Ao Min promptly set out, making his way back to Liuhe Village.
Chen Yang, not one to remain idle, also proceeded with his own plans. After Ao Min's departure, he utilized the elevator to ascend to the uppermost floor, making his way to Li Han's office.
Upon Liu Han's notice of Chen Yang's arrival, she emerged from behind her desk with a welcoming smile. "Chen Yang, to what do I owe the pleasure of this visit? Please, simply call me if you require anything," Li Han said warmly as she approached.
"It's nothing significant, I merely wished to see you. We are truly indebted to you for today's assistance; without it, orchestrating these arrangements would have been considerably more challenging," Chen Yang expressed, extending his hand for a handshake.
Li Han's contribution that day had been invaluable. She had not only provided a temporary haven for rest but had also extended numerous other resources, significantly aiding the alliance's recovery efforts.
"It was merely a small undertaking. My sole concern is to assist you; I only fear I may not be able to offer aid should you find yourself in dire straits," Li Han conveyed sweetly, her genuine feelings subtly revealed.
A sense of warmth enveloped Chen Yang's heart, though he found himself momentarily at a loss for words to adequately express his gratitude. The unspoken understanding between them conveyed all that needed to be said.
Time, as it often does, passed swiftly, and nightfall soon descended.
By eight o'clock, Ao Min returned from Liuhe Village, bearing news regarding the elder's response.
Liu Taoist had indeed consented to the proposed plan, though he did mention a minor logistical challenge. He explained that he had recently accepted a dozen new disciples, and consequently, the accommodations at Green Cloud Temple were presently at full capacity, with room for only five additional individuals. There was no surplus space available.
Should the alliance intend to reside there for an extended duration, the temple might necessitate an expansion to accommodate them.
Hearing Ao Min's words, Chen Yang's mind flashed back to a similar situation. When the temple was first established, its future scale was never anticipated, leading to a simple, singular design.
Considering the current circumstances, accommodations for the alliance necessitate significant development and a rapid, major expansion; otherwise, it would prove excessively inconvenient.
"So, here's the plan: I'll immediately summon two designers tonight to work on an expansion blueprint overnight. If everything is satisfactory, the construction team will commence work tomorrow morning, with the aim of completing the expansion swiftly," Li Han proposed, not waiting for Chen Yang's response.
Indeed, expansion touched upon the Dao, a task no one else could possibly manage.
"An expansion is certainly needed, but there's no need to rush," Chen Yang expressed, intending for Li Han to proceed at a more measured pace, acknowledging that such an undertaking wouldn't be completed in a single day. Postponing by a night wouldn't make a significant difference.
Li Han grasped Chen Yang's concern, understanding he didn't want her to feel overly burdened.
However, she felt no fatigue whatsoever.
Her sole focus was on assisting Chen Yang.
This sentiment represented Li Han's most sincere feelings.
"It's not about haste; it's about the many people requiring shelter. The sooner, the better, wouldn't you agree? Your Uncle's group can hardly afford to be discovered, can they?"
"If they don't find refuge in the temple soon, they risk attracting unwanted attention. Therefore, hastening the process is optimal," Li Han reasoned.
Ao Min let out a chuckle, lending his support to Li Han, albeit with a touch of playfulness.
"Haha, my dear brother, I'm on President Li's side. This expansion is indeed urgent; completing it ahead of schedule is the wisest course of action," Ao Min declared with a laugh.
Chen Yang shot him a meaningful glance, and Ao Min immediately fell silent.
"Very well, I will contact the designers right away, and construction will commence tomorrow." With the backing of the others, Li Han didn't linger for Chen Yang, promptly moving to her workstation to call the designers.
As Li Han took the initiative, Chen Yang found himself with nothing further to add, silently concurring with her actions.
