"Chen Yang, Uncle Chen and the others are in danger," He Xiran, upon seeing Chen Yang, immediately began to weep. Her heart was filled with genuine concern for Chen Tianmin's well-being.
"Xiran, compose yourself first. Explain everything clearly, and then I can go to their rescue. Do not be anxious; as long as I am here, they will be safe," Chen Yang reassured her, gripping her shoulders while requesting the details.
"Yes, young lady, please tell us quickly what exactly transpired. Cease your tears," Ao Min earnestly urged her to calm down.
To He Xiran's surprise, the individuals accompanying Chen Yang appeared remarkably formidable, far exceeding her own strength.
However, she recognized she had no time for such thoughts and promptly narrated the unfolding events.
Just yesterday, the Qiu Alliance received unexpected news.
A traitor, who haddefect to the Blood Bat Hall four months prior, was scheduled to attend a gathering.
Upon hearing this intelligence, the members of the Qiu Alliance were filled with immense excitement!
They immediately formulated a plan for an assassination to eliminate the turncoat.
Little did they know, this was an elaborate trap meticulously set by the Blood Bat Hall!
Their intention was to draw out the Qiu Alliance members and capture them all in a single sweep.
Unsuspecting, the Qiu Alliance members proceeded with their assassination attempt, only to fall directly into the prepared ambush.
Further compounding their misfortune, the Blood Bat Hall somehow discovered the location of the Qiu Alliance's base.
They simultaneously dispatched a contingent to raze the base to the ground.
Numerous members of the Qiu Alliance perished in the attack.
With their base destroyed, Chen Tianmin and his companions lost their sanctuary and were forced to flee with the surviving Qiu Alliance members.
Yet, the pursuers from the Blood Bat Hall showed no mercy and relentlessly hounded them!
"Seeing the Blood Bat Hall forces closing in, Uncle led a group to create a diversion, drawing the pursuers away. I didn't know what else to do, so I called you," He Xiran sobbed, utterly lost and unprepared for such a dire predicament.
After absorbing the account of the events, Chen Yang's heart seethed with an uncontrollable urge to kill!
He silently vowed that every single individual partaking in the pursuit of the Qiu Alliance members today would face certain death! Not one would be permitted to escape alive.
Chen Yang's palpable killing intent sent shivers down the spines of Ao Min and Xiao Hei, instilling a sense of dread.
As Chen Yang's power grew, so too did the overwhelming pressure he exerted upon them.
"Xiran, where was the last location you saw Uncle? Guide us there," Chen Yang inquired, striving to suppress his surging anger.
"Understood, please follow me," He Xiran, now filled with hope that Chen Yang would provide aid, quickly took the lead, guiding him in the direction she had come from.
As cultivators, their speed was exceptional, barely discernible against the backdrop of the night sky.
Approximately ten minutes later, having traversed over twenty miles, they arrived at a mountainous plain.
The area was enveloped by mountains and dense trees, with only a small clearing offering respite.
"It was precisely here that I parted ways with Uncle Chen," He Xiran declared.
Upon their arrival at the scene, Chen Yang immediately detected the noxious spiritual energy emanating from the Blood Bat Hall members.
Moreover, the energy was quite potent, suggesting a considerable number of individuals, and that they had departed only a short while before.
"Hmm... such malevolent energy indicates that the cultivation techniques of the Blood Bat Hall are far from ordinary," Ao Min remarked, surprised by the detection of the sinister spiritual energy, as he had not encountered members of the Blood Bat Hall previously.
"Hmph, regardless of their cultivation techniques, if I apprehend them, I shall tear them limb from limb to satiate my wrath!" the dragon declared haughtily from its position in the air.
Chen Yang remained silent, his gaze fixed in contemplation for a couple of seconds. He then turned to He Xiran and asked, "Do you recall the direction Uncle and the others departed in?"
"I do not know, for Uncle Chen instructed us to leave first. He departed later, and I am uncertain of the direction he took," He Xiran replied, shaking her head swiftly.
Perceiving He Xiran's lack of specific directional knowledge, Chen Yang turned his attention to Brother Eagle and Wangcai.
"Wangcai, Brother Eagle, the task now falls to you. Time is of the essence; you must ascertain the direction with utmost speed!" Chen Yang swiftly commanded Wangcai and Brother Eagle.
Chirp chirp!
Bark bark!
Grasping the gravity of the situation, Wangcai and Brother Eagle acknowledged the command with two distinct cries before commencing their respective actions.
Brother Eagle ascended into the sky, meticulously surveying the surrounding terrain.
Wangcai, employing its keen sense of smell, diligently investigated the ground below.
After approximately half a minute, they successfully pinpointed the direction! Towards the East!
Bark bark!
Having determined the correct path, Wangcai immediately turned to Chen Yang and barked, while Brother Eagle, flying low in the sky, let out a screech before soaring eastward.
"Let us proceed."
Chen Yang, understanding Brother Eagle and Wangcai's clear intention, immediately led Ao Min, Xiao Hei, and He Xiran in pursuit.
They followed in Wangcai's wake.
More than ten miles were retraced, and the ground was now littered with specks of blood, painting a clear picture of a fierce engagement.
Furthermore, the surrounding vegetation and terrain bore obvious marks of a heated confrontation.
Every sign pointed towards a perilous predicament.
The Qiu Alliance had, by this point, been hotly pursued, their members enduring injuries throughout the relentless chase.
"Uncle, you absolutely cannot fall! You promised we would avenge my parents together; we were meant to face our enemies side-by-side," He Xiran whispered to herself as the landscape blurred past.
