Despite not planning to leave like this, An Baobei wasn’t willing to let Ning Zihan off the hook, pretending like nothing happened.

Upon entering the dining room, Ning Zihan saw An Baobei eating while the housekeeper and maids attended to her. With just a glance, they instantly retreated.

Ning Zihan sat next to An Baobei, intending to give her a hug, but An Baobei immediately moved away, choosing to sit on the chair farthest from him, without even glancing at him. Ning Zihan: "..."

Quietly watching An Baobei eat breakfast without acknowledging him for a long time, Ning Zihan finally asked, "Wife, what’s wrong?"

An Baobei finally spoke up, "Why don’t you ask yourself what I’m mad about! If you didn’t do anything to make me angry, would I treat you like this? You tell me not to bottle things up, but you never seriously think about what you’ve done that’s upset me. Why should I always compromise for you?"

After speaking, An Baobei abandoned her breakfast and left the dining room.

Growing up, Ning Zihan had only let An Baobei get the better of him, but now he felt An Baobei was being unreasonable.

Nevertheless, he thought carefully about it but couldn’t identify anything he had done wrong; it was clearly her mood swings out of nowhere.

This made Ning Zihan feel even more that An Baobei was being irrational.

He left the dining room and saw An Baobei sitting on the living room sofa watching TV.
