An Baobei confronted Ning Zihan, accusing him of causing Li Junlin to delete his Weibo and refuse contact. Ning Zihan deflected her accusations, leading An Baobei to question his friendship with Li Junlin. Ning Zihan warned An Baobei against developing feelings for people met online, causing her to insist she only saw Li Junlin as a friend.

Ning Zihan didn’t speak, he just slightly curled the corners of his mouth.

An Baobei saw that he actually smiled, and at first didn’t react to why. Once she did, she immediately got angry and threw a pillow at him: "You’re trying to get me to talk!"

Seeing her leaning over to hit him, Ning Zihan instinctively wrapped his arms around her slender waist and laughed, "You’re just too naive."

Being held by him around the waist was like an electric current passing through her, making An Baobei’s whole body stiffen for a moment. Then, she quickly broke free from his embrace and hit him harder with the pillow: "If you touch me again, I’ll use the sword in my room to castrate you and turn you into a eunuch!"

"..." Ning Zihan paused and then softly said, "It’s because you were too close just now, I couldn’t help it..."

An Baobei’s face and ears turned hot instantly, and she scolded louder: "You’re being a pervert but you’re blaming me!"

Was he really being perverted?

Ning Zihan paused again before asking, "Do you have any misunderstanding about the word ’pervert’?"

"No misunderstanding, you were just being perverted! Forget it, I’m not talking to you. After all, Li Junlin is your friend, not mine. If you have any conflicts, it’s your own doing." An Baobei said while turning around and walking quickly outside like she was escaping.

Ning Zihan sat on the bed again, hugging the pillow she had used, and watched her leave hurriedly with a flushed face. However, the corners of his mouth curled up little by little.

It seems she really doesn’t like Li Junlin at all. Now he was relieved.

...

An Baobei quickly walked out of Ning Zihan’s room and hurried back to her own room, closed the door, and then leaned against it, covering her heart that was pounding.

What’s going on? Why is it beating so fast again?

Again...

She clearly remembered the first time her heart raced like this was when Ning Zihan bent down to fasten her seatbelt.

Later, it happened many more times, all because of Ning Zihan.

Until she didn’t like Ning Zihan at all, her heart stopped pounding so fast, like a young deer running around.

But now, it’s racing again, and again because of Ning Zihan...

Could it be that she’s fallen for Ning Zihan again?

"No way..." Thinking of this, An Baobei held her forehead in frustration. Then she quickly shook her head and said, "No way! It must be because no one has ever held me like that, that’s why! Absolutely! It definitely doesn’t mean I’m in love with Ning Zihan again!"

Thinking this way, An Baobei was no longer frustrated. But her heart was still racing uncontrollably like a little deer, though she chose to ignore it.

...

The next morning, An Baobei was blocked by Ning Zihan as soon as she stepped out of her room.

"What are you doing?" An Baobei asked with annoyance, seeing Ning Zihan standing in front of her, not letting her pass.

"I’m going back later."

"If you’re going back, then go, what’s it got to do with me! Get out of the way!" An Baobei pushed him, but Ning Zihan still wouldn’t move, continuing to block her in the hallway.

Ning Zihan simply said, "Don’t forget."

"Forget what?" An Baobei had no clue what he meant.

"Lu Yimi."

"What about him?"

"Don’t casually date him again." Pausing, he repeated, "You two are not suitable."

"Are you annoyed or what! My business is none of your concern!" An Baobei rudely pushed him away and went downstairs.

Ning Zihan knew she had taken his words to heart. He returned to his room to grab some things before leaving the Su Family.

Before leaving, passing by the dining room, he called out to An Baobei inside, "Baobei, I’m leaving."
