Su Chengyu and Ning Zihan engaged in an escalating donation war on An Baobei's stream, with Ning Zihan ultimately securing the top spot. An Baobei, overwhelmed by the generosity, decides to gift her highest donor of the day an ink painting and asks for their address.

Due to the sheer volume of chat comments, An Baobei struggled to keep up, unsure if 'One Person' had responded.

After uttering a couple more sentences, she concluded her livestream.

Two hours passed, and with the clock striking past eleven at night, 'One Person' still hadn't sent his address via private message. An Baobei, unwilling to break her promise, decided to initiate contact herself.

"Hello."

"Are you there?"

"I'm 'My Baobei is the Princess'. You were the highest donor today. I promised to give the top donor a water-ink painting. Could you please send me your address so I can mail it to you?"

'One Person', Ning Zihan, was on the verge of sleep when his phone chimed multiple times. He picked it up, revealing three messages from An Baobei. After a brief hesitation, he replied:

"Here."

"The address is XXXX..." Ning Zihan transmitted his friend's address to An Baobei.

An Baobei noted the address and then inquired, "I asked you during the livestream to send me your address privately, didn't you hear me?"

Ning Zihan responded, "I heard."

"Then why didn't you send it to me?"

"I had already commented that I didn't want it."

"...So why are you giving me the address now?"

"Since you asked, I just sent it."

"..." An Baobei genuinely found this individual, 'One Person', to be quite peculiar.

Ning Zihan had indeed desired An Baobei's water-ink painting. He admired her artwork greatly but, concerned about revealing his identity, had initially decided against accepting it. However, when An Baobei personally reached out, his impulse got the better of him, and he sent his friend's address, intending to have the friend forward it to him later.

An Baobei pondered for a moment before finally sending three words to 'One Person': "Then goodbye."

Ning Zihan, being direct, offered no reply.

An Baobei waited for five minutes. The absence of any response from 'One Person' only deepened her perception of him as an even stranger individual.

Ning Zihan ceased his chat with An Baobei and proceeded to call his university classmate and friend, Li Junlin.

Although Li Junlin was a prominent figure in City A, his delicate health typically necessitated early rest. Awakened by Ning Zihan's call, he expressed his displeasure and annoyance. Upon answering, he immediately admonished, "Don't you know I'm unwell? Why are you disturbing me?"

"I need to discuss something with you. I'm afraid I might forget it tomorrow," Ning Zihan replied, showing no trace of guilt.

"What is it?"

"Someone is going to send me something. I've used your address; you can forward it to me later."

"You're being absurd, making it take an unnecessary detour through me to reach you."

"You aren't foolish; must I spell it out so plainly?"

Only then did Li Junlin cease his complaints about being woken and seriously inquired, "Then why don't you just provide your address directly?"

"We'll discuss it when we meet someday. I don't wish to elaborate right now." After a brief pause, he added, "By the way, didn't you mention last time that Wutong had returned from her military service? Did you manage to see her?"

"Don't even bring it up," Li Junlin became agitated at the mention of the subject. "She returned from military service, briefly visited her parents, and then left. She doesn't dare to face me. I couldn't catch her. If she returns from military service again and I manage to catch her, I will break her arm to see how she can continue serving as a soldier!"

"Be careful you don't push her further away."

Li Junlin's voice softened considerably as he replied, "I just want her to stay by my side, never to leave."
