Ethan confronted a powerful, unknown figure who revealed himself to be a cultivator. As Dorian's music filled the air, the cultivator unleashed a barrage of fire, wind, and lightning attacks. Ethan countered with his own wind-based magic, and the two engaged in a fierce magical duel, pushing each other to their limits.

The two sides continued exchanging attacks in the sky. Fire exploded against wind while lightning flashed between them, and every collision sent a deep rumble through the air. The heat from the flames spread across the battlefield, while sharp currents of wind cut through the smoke and made Ethan's clothes snap around his body.

The green-robed figure kept forming strange hand signs, and every time his fingers moved, another attack appeared around him. Flames gathered above his head, wind twisted around his arms, and lightning crawled across his robes before shooting toward Ethan. Ethan also continued casting his spells, using his staff to control the wind and lightning while moving through the attacks.

BOOM! BOOM! CRAACK!

The battlefield around them had already been covered by thick smoke and dust from their constant attacks. The sky was filled with scattered flames and broken streams of wind, while lightning continued flashing through the smoke. The smell of burning earth filled the air, and the ground below was covered with cracks and small fires.

Ethan raised his staff again.

A strong current of wind gathered around the tip as several sharp blades began forming. The pressure made the air whistle around him, and he was about to strike out another wind blade when something suddenly shot out from the smoke.

The green-robed figure appeared directly in front of him.

His robes were still moving from the force of his previous attack, and his palm was already raised.

A strange handprint suddenly formed in front of his palm.

The next moment, it shot toward Ethan.

BOOM!

The handprint tore through the air with enough force to make the space around it tremble.

Ethan's expression changed, and he immediately twisted his body to the side.

The handprint passed dangerously close to his shoulder.

The pressure alone made his armour tear slightly as the attack continued behind him. It smashed through the thick smoke and blasted apart the clouds in the distance.

Ethan didn't waste the opening.

His body flickered.

Space around him briefly distorted before he disappeared.

In the next moment, he used a short-distance teleportation and appeared directly before the green-robed figure.

There was almost no distance between them.

Ethan's fist was already moving.

His muscles tightened as he put his entire body behind the punch.

The green-robed figure reacted almost at the same time.

His eyes remained calm as he clenched his fist and punched forward.

Their fists met.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

A terrifying shockwave exploded from the point of impact.

The sound was so loud that everyone nearby felt their ears ring.

The air between them compressed for an instant before exploding outward. A huge circular wave spread through the sky, pushing away the smoke and flames around them.

The clouds were torn apart.

The dust covering the ground was swept away.

Cracks spread across the earth below as the force from the collision slammed into it.

Neither Ethan nor the green-robed figure managed to overpower the other.

The force of the collision suddenly threw both of them backward.

Ethan's body shot through the air like a projectile. His arm went numb from the impact, and he quickly twisted his body before using his foot against a floating piece of broken stone to slow himself down.

The stone exploded under his foot.

Ethan finally stopped several hundred meters away.

He lowered his fist and flexed his fingers.

His eyes remained fixed on the green-robed figure.

Across from him, the green-robed figure was also flying backward. His long hair and green robes whipped violently behind him as he finally stopped himself in midair.

The green-robed figure suddenly moved.

His body became blurry as he executed a strange movement skill that looked almost like phantom steps. His feet barely touched the air as he glided forward, leaving faint afterimages behind him. In the blink of an eye, he crossed the distance between them and appeared in front of Ethan.

His palm shot forward.

A huge palm print formed in front of his hand and rushed toward Ethan with terrifying force.

Ethan didn't have enough time to dodge so he simply formed Draconic armour.

The palm print struck him directly in the chest.

BOOOOOM!

Ethan's body was pushed downward like a falling meteor. He crashed into the ground and dragged across it, carving a long trail through the earth. Broken stones were thrown behind him as his body continued sliding for several moments.

Eventually, Ethan dug his fingers into the ground and stopped himself.

Dust covered his body.

He slowly raised his head and looked toward the green-robed figure.

Ethan noticed a slight change in the man's expression.

The figure seemed taken aback too.

He lowered his palm and stared at it for a moment, as if he couldn't understand what had just happened. His attack had landed directly on Ethan's chest, yet Ethan had only been pushed away.

Ethan also glanced down at his chest.

There was a faint mark on his clothes, but his body had suffered almost no damage.

The green-robed man slowly clenched his fist.

The moment his fingers closed, a faint ripple spread across the world around him. The air seemed to become heavy, and even the space around his body distorted slightly.

He took his position.

The gravity around the man seemed to increase by several fold.

CRACK!

The ground beneath his feet suddenly cracked.

Small stones around him were pressed into the earth, and the surrounding air felt heavier as if an invisible weight had fallen over the area.

Ethan watched him carefully.

That short exchange was enough to push both of them away from each other, but instead of feeling threatened, Ethan became excited.

He had been waiting for this.

The only thing Ethan feared right now was that after beating the shit out of this guy, the guy would suddenly say he was just a Foundation Realm or Golden Core Realm cultivator.

Ethan might really lose it if he heard that this guy was just a low level ant.

The thought alone made his face twitch slightly.

He shook his head and pushed the thought away.

"Let's not think about that."

Ethan clenched his fist.

Draconic scales slowly appeared over his arms. They spread across his skin and covered his forearms as a powerful flame aura began burning around his body.

The flames rose higher.

Ethan lowered his body slightly.

Then he stomped his foot heavily.

BOOM!

The ground beneath him exploded, and Ethan's body shot forward with tremendous speed.

At the same time, the green-robed figure moved.

His body blurred again as he used his strange movement skill.

The two rapidly closed the distance between them.

Ethan pulled his fist back.

The green-robed figure also clenched his fist.

Their auras collided before their fists even met.

The surrounding air began trembling.

Both of them released extreme power and punched forward at the same time.

Their fists collided.

BOOOOM!
