The four Emperors quietly exchanged glances. None of them questioned Ethan's determination because they all understood the situation. Every second they remained here gave Haster more time to prepare whatever awaited them deeper inside the cursed land. Emperor Aldric was the first to nod. His expression remained firm as he looked toward the distant mountains.

Emperor Caelus also gave a slight nod. His eyes remained fixed on the path ahead as he spoke in a calm but serious voice.

However, Emperor Aldric soon frowned again as his gaze swept across the endless sea of black miasma covering the mountains.
"But how will we traverse through this miasma?"
Queen Ophelia calmly stepped forward.

She slowly extended one hand. A gentle white light gathered above her palm before rapidly becoming brighter. Within moments, the surrounding light element responded to her call and burst outward with overwhelming purity.

The holy light spread across the battlefield like the rising sun. Wherever the light reached, the thick black miasma immediately shrank back as though it had encountered its greatest enemy. The poisonous darkness rapidly retreated in every direction, revealing the hidden mountain path beneath it.
The other Emperors looked at Queen Ophelia with visible surprise.

Even they had not expected her mastery over light magic to suppress the cursed miasma so completely.
Queen Ophelia remained calm. Without saying another word, she slowly lifted her crystal staff while extending her free hand toward the sky. One glowing magic circle appeared above her, then another, and another. Within only a few breaths, hundreds of brilliant magic circles covered the heavens. Their holy light illuminated the entire valley and pushed back the surrounding darkness.

The selected knights immediately stepped forward before saluting with absolute respect.

Emperor Ezekiel gave a brief nod before turning back toward the cleared mountain path.
"Let's go!"
The moment his command was given, the Allied Army surged forward once again. The four Emperors personally led the advance while countless Transcendent experts, Divine Knights, and elite soldiers followed closely behind them without hesitation. Their figures quickly disappeared into the corridor of light that Queen Ophelia had created through the endless darkness.
Queen Ophelia was the last to leave.
Before stepping forward, she quietly turned toward Heliana.
"Take care."
Heliana gently nodded without saying a word.
Standing nearby, Ethan also looked toward Queen Ophelia.
For just a brief moment, he noticed that her eyes seemed to pass beyond Heliana before meeting his direction. He could not tell whether those words had been meant only for Heliana... or whether they had also been meant for him. Before he could think about it any longer, the four Emperors and the Allied Army had already disappeared into the distance, leaving behind only fading streaks of holy light within the dark valley.
Soon, the battlefield became strangely quiet.
Only Ethan, Heliana, several Transcendent Knights, Haster, and the remaining monstrous enemies were left behind. The thick miasma slowly rolled across the broken ground while countless corpses and shattered rocks lay scattered around them. The silence carried a heavy pressure, making everyone feel as though an even greater battle was about to begin.
Ethan slowly turned around.

At almost the same moment, Ethan stepped forward.
Brilliant holy light erupted beneath his feet as he charged directly toward Haster without the slightest hesitation. His radiant armor shone even brighter while his sword released a dazzling glow that cut through the surrounding darkness.
The distance between them vanished in the blink of an eye.

Ethan's sword collided head-on with Haster's monstrous claws.
A violent shockwave exploded across the battlefield, throwing dust, shattered rocks, and waves of light and darkness in every direction. The earth trembled beneath their feet while the nearby Transcendent experts were forced to shield themselves from the overwhelming impact.
