Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights Chapter 381 Plans For The Tournament

With a leap that cleared the floor by inches, Godfrey was engulfed in a purple light. He reappeared on the mezzanine in another swift flash.
"It's been a while," he stated, his gaze fixed on Percival.
Percival spread his arms wide as Godfrey approached, prompting Godfrey to take a step back.
"Don't you want to hug your senior?" Percival inquired.
"No," Godfrey retorted curtly.
"Come on."
"Did you hit your head?" Godfrey questioned as Percival wrapped an arm around his back and gave a friendly pat. Inside, a chuckle escaped him. Having experienced death and returned, he now recognized the greater beauty in living and cherishing moments with loved ones.
"It truly has been a while."
Lucy offered a small smile before turning her attention to Arden and Oliver. Their eyes, however, held a profound dimness that caused her smile to fade.
But as Percival released Godfrey, Arden suddenly stood and moved towards him, embracing him tightly.
"Are you back?" she asked, her voice filled with emotion.
Godfrey gently caressed Arden's back. "I'm sorry… but Isolde's killer is in paradise."
This revelation caused Arden's and Oliver's eyes to widen in shock. Percival's brow furrowed deeply.
"What?!" Oliver exclaimed, descending from the railings. "Who is the killer?"
"I cannot reveal their identity for your own safety. That is all I can share for now, but I have grieved enough. My primary objective is to stop this tournament."
Oliver's eyes darted, lost in deep thought. Who could it possibly be?
"I'm not surprised by your goal, but I doubt Captain Saul will welcome you. He's made several negative remarks about you. I believe you wounded his pride, and back then, I sensed his murderous intent towards you." Arden looked directly at Godfrey.
Godfrey slid his hands into his pockets. "Saul possesses what I desire, so we could never be friends from the start."
Everyone present glanced at him, their eyebrows raised in surprise.
"You are all aware that my summon is a castle. Castles inherently contain things, and within mine, there are knights. However, some of them are currently absent."
"The black knights!" Lucy gasped. "I suspected those knights bore too much resemblance to yours."
Arden was even more astonished that Godfrey could possess another's summon. Given his own summon was a castle, and as he stated, castles normally housed beings - denizens of that castle. In essence, Godfrey might be the rightful owner of some individuals' summons!
"So Abaddon and Apollyon belong to you. I doubt the Captain would willingly surrender them. You would have to defeat him first."
"Abaddon and Apollyon. So that's their names. Tsk!" Godfrey clicked his tongue. While the names suited their current disposition, they did not align with their ideals as Golden Order Knights.
"I don't believe you can simply march up and attack Saul. If you fail, you'll be dead; if you succeed, you'll become an enemy of all of paradise. To them, you appeared out of nowhere and attacked their Captain without provocation." Percival folded his arms, observing Godfrey.
Godfrey shook his head. "That was not my intention. I plan to infiltrate Saul's tournament and sabotage it from within. I will override the system from the inside."
His underlying motive was to win over his knights.
He gambled that this action would at least lay the foundation for them to recognize him as their king.
For the Golden Order Knights, strength was paramount. Not monstrous power, but human strength. Arden tapped her chin thoughtfully. "There are two avenues for you to join the cohort. One is through application, and the other requires approval from the Elders. Saul commands significant support, and his words can even sway the Elders, so I wouldn't rely on that. The only individual who can truly assist is the Watchman."
Lucy let out a silent gasp.
Godfrey offered a faint, hesitant smile.
"You and Percival have a close relationship with the Watchman, so there's a strong possibility you both can secure his approval." Oliver lent his support to Arden's statement.
Godfrey responded with a quiet nod. "That will not be an issue."
He understood that if there was one thing he and Cain saw eye-to-eye on, it was the necessity of him growing stronger. For the present, Godfrey knew he had to set his personal emotions aside and do what was required.
Just then, the door burst open, and Nathan entered the pit, accompanied by Alora and Arnold. The moment Arnold's eyes landed on Godfrey, his expression hardened instantly.
"Who is that?" Nathan inquired, his gaze falling upon Godfrey. Alora, too, was filled with curiosity. Neither had seen this person before.
"An unwelcome guest. Eliminate him!" Arnold commanded, unleashing a massive diagram behind him. From it emerged a humanoid being with immense, dark wings.
Resembling arms sprouting from its back, massive black feathers formed a vast pair of wings, attached to a fourteen-foot-tall, gaunt body clad in dark apparel.
The garment extended to its bare feet, and its head was concealed within a tattered hood. This entity, known as the Blood Omen, sported a thick, dark golden chest plate and imposing shoulder pauldrons adorned with crimson speckles.
The Blood Omen's limbs were withered, ending in fingers unnaturally long which gripped a trident resembling a candelabra. Nathan conjured forth a sixteen-foot-tall, bipedal panda, its colossal claws, broad chest, and mighty arms dominating the space. A deafening roar erupted from it, causing the very structure to shake. Alora's summoning, in contrast, was remarkably silent. Emerging was a four-armed, female insectoid, her long silver hair cascading to the ground. She wore a white mask, featureless save for eyeholes, and sported four black horns akin to hardened antennae. Her body, from head to toe, was encased in gray armor that clung to her slender, insect-like form. With two of her right hands, she grasped a greatsword with an elongated hilt. The entirety of the blade shimmered silver, mirroring the hue of the insectoid's hair. The vast expanse of the colossal pit now seemed constricted, the oppressive auras of three Titled Gods suffocating the very air. Nathan's Zombie Panda menacingly displayed its claws, Alora's Insect Knight adopted a poised stance, while Arnold raised his trident high. In the subsequent instant, he drove it into the floor, and blood began to swirl atop the weapon, forming an ominous, dark cloud. Lucy gasped, the struggle for breath evident. "What are you doing?!" Arden bellowed, his eyes wide with disbelief.
