Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights Chapter 338: Monstrous Strength
Previously on Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights...
Godfrey rolled his neck with a crack, stretched his arms wide, and started jogging in place. It began lightly and leisurely at first, yet mounting pressure rapidly accumulated.
To launch himself skyward, his feet hammered the floor, and each landing transferred the shock straight back into the surface below.
Rick’s face shifted dramatically as fissures formed on the platform. His eyes widened further while the fracture raced outward, quicker than any previous time.
Fissures raced across the entire platform and further still, as if a powerful quake had struck the area.
The shaking proved too much for Isolde to endure. She prepared to command Rick to halt it all. Yet upon opening her eyes, she spotted the reason behind everyone’s abrupt hush.
"Frey..." Her voice quivered. The sheer power radiating from his motions alone sent chills down her spine.
Neila’s jaw dropped wide. "That can’t be a being from this world anymore," she gasped.
In that instant, Godfrey’s eyes snapped open as he let out a deep breath. A thunderous stomp erupted from him, propelling him instantly in front of Rick with a savage punch.
The strike connected with a humanoid dragon boasting four crimson eyes and deep red scales. ’If I hadn’t shifted to my true form... that hit might have ended me for real.’
To imagine a mana-less human forcing him into his primary shape.
This outcome blindsided Rick completely.
Godfrey eyed the butler now transformed into a two-legged dragon. "I guess the spar is over."
Rick stared at him as if he were insane. Didn’t Godfrey notice the destruction he’d wrought on the gym, and still demand he block such a strike?
"That’s a yes then," Godfrey declared. Inside, he marveled at the power Mastery bestowed upon him. Even its originator never dreamed someone like him would master it. He was more than ready to challenge a King Tier!
This was utterly mad!
He’d never realized his body harbored such raw might without mana.
Brushing his sweat-drenched face, Godfrey let out a sigh. Without mana, exhaustion hit him far quicker. It confirmed his immense power sans mana, though his endurance lagged behind his brute force.
"Maybe I’m not strong enough," Snow murmured to himself.

Hours afterward, with the spar’s thrill faded, the evening breeze chilled the grass outside the mansion.
Wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and gray trousers, Godfrey stood on the lawn while Snow and Isaac slumped on the ground, breathing raggedly.
"It’s enough," he urged them.
"No. I need to grow," Snow shot back stubbornly.
Godfrey nearly slapped his forehead. Hadn’t this the guy who claimed contentment at Origin Tier?
He’d hit the ceiling of his capabilities. Only if the mana tree deemed him worthy for this era’s game would Snow escape Origin Tier stagnation.
Isaac pushed himself up, but Snow’s attempt sent him tumbling back onto the grass, sprawling out.
Noticing Snow’s surrender, Isaac plopped down on his rear and stretched flat too. "I’m so tired."
Godfrey shook his head before joining them on the ground.
"Do you know that I walked out of my family? You all have families, but I can’t speak to mine," Snow blurted suddenly.
"I had no idea about that," Isaac replied, twisting his head toward Snow, who unexpectedly started sharing.
Perhaps the camaraderie and this cozy feeling stirred memories of his kin.
"My parents are annoying, to be honest, and they want me to be this perfect, excellent son, but that wasn’t me. What they wanted was a monster who sees those weaker as people who should know their place as a less important part of society.... I still visit them in disguise, though."
Snow heaved a deep sigh. "Apparently, my parents are softening up. Evolution, huh. I think they miss me, but I’m afraid if I go back, they will force me back into that same thing I left behind."
"You mean the perfect boy? Maybe you were born to be one... without the looking down on people part," Isaac interjected.
Godfrey laced his fingers behind his head while reclining on the grass, gazing at the star-scarce sky. "Isaac might not be wrong. There are a lot of mistakes if you stick to how your parents want you to be, but if you take the good part, together with your current ideal... you’re the perfect guy. Second only to Percival, of course."
"Certainly," Isaac nodded.
"I’m better than Percival," Snow bolted upright.
"Yeah, sure," Isaac chuckled. "That dude barely uttered a word, yet he was one of the most attractive boys in school. And that wasn’t his real appearance. He’s ten times more good-looking than the fake everyone in school knew about."
Snow clicked his tongue.
"Even if you’re more good-looking, your bad mouth ruins it," Isaac teased, prompting Snow to yank up grass and shove it into his mouth.
This startled Isaac into leaping up, hacking out sand and blades while shooting Snow a fierce glare.
Snow paid him no mind and faced Godfrey instead. "What do you think I should do about my family? Do you think I should at least meet them? Honestly, it’s been a while."
Godfrey replied, "How about tomorrow?" He planned to deploy his knights soon to purge the rampant dungeons and was eager to watch them perform. As their sovereign, assigning missions to his knights was one of his core responsibilities.
Yet before that, he intended to escort Snow to visit his family.
"Tomorrow," Snow grinned. "I suddenly feel afraid." He glanced down at his hands. "Is this normal?"

Three people gathered around the dining table. Aurelia, Snow’s sister, had already finished her meal earlier yet insisted on sharing the table with her parents, who arrived home late from their jobs.
Employed by the authorities, they were overwhelmed by the surging dungeons, leaving them with hardly any time for personal life.
Agents were desperately needed these days. Elite summoners were highly prized, given the climbing death toll among summoners. This transformation spelled doom for many, including fishermen who stumbled upon colossal sea beasts that had ballooned in size.
Dungeons posed deadly risks, yet Earth’s monsters were just as ferocious.
