Nial pushes the Advocate of the Pryard to her limit, but she unleashes a devastating solar sphere attack that engulfs the divine realm. Nial is consumed by flames, but a surge of memories and the return of Damian, the God of Darkness, allows him to regain control and fight back.

The end had arrived, or so Nial believed upon sensing Damian's guidance. Though he could no longer hear his Master or perceive his presence, Nial distinctly felt Damian's mastery over the Spear and the ancestral techniques employed to vanquish the other Advocates. "Finally..." he murmured, drawing a deep breath amidst the inferno.

The Advocate of the Pryard observed the sea of flames with satisfaction, confident that Nial, engulfed within, would soon have his energy depleted, his screams echoing in the divine hall.

At that precise moment, Nial erupted from the very flames that had threatened to consume him. Astonishingly, the flames no longer harmed him; instead, it appeared as though the devouring flames were themselves being devoured! Was such a thing even conceivable?

The Advocate watched Nial in disbelief. He was capable of absorbing the devouring flames through his Cursed Divine Ability. Utilizing his Heart of Gluttony, he could even convert them into a different form of reinforced dark energy. This unique dark energy was usable by Nial, as the Divine Realm only restricted the use of Mana and energies derived from it! Both his sustenance and the devouring flames were not originating from mana!

The Advocate scoffed. From her perspective, Nial was merely clinging to a fragile thread of hope, struggling for survival. With his arms and legs already seared by the devouring flames, escape was impossible. He was grievously wounded, his limbs half-burned, and a gaping hole marred his left shoulder.

The devouring flames continued their assault on Nial, burning him relentlessly. He couldn't fully absorb them because they were simultaneously consuming him—a desperate struggle between two entities capable of mutual annihilation. Nial's body trembled violently as he burst forth from the fiery abyss. While the surrounding flames remained a nuisance, Nial released a portion of his own sustenance to regenerate Goldy's golden scales across his form, followed by darkness to repel the encroaching flames.

Unaffacted by the flames, Nial swung the Eternal Darkness Spear, annihilating the devouring flames, which vanished into nothingness. A few stray embers pursued him, but Nial artfully twisted his body, evading them before cleaving them in two. He continued his escape from the now-disoriented devouring flames.

The remaining flames collided, consuming each other until only a single one persisted. Nial didn't hesitate, not even for a fleeting second. Once the inferno posed no further threat, he altered his course and adjusted his altitude with a simple leg movement. Simultaneously, he began unleashing blasts of reinforced dark energy with the Eternal Darkness Spear.

'How much energy do you possess? Did you not overexert yourself by unleashing your Divinity after summoning the two Divine Orbs?' Nial pondered the energy expenditure required for manifesting the sun-like sphere. It had vanished after conjuring the sea of devouring flames, an indication of energy consumption too immense to sustain its manifestation. Coupled with the drain from her fully unleashed Divinity, the Advocate of the Pryard should be nearing her limit. Her physical stamina had already been compromised by frequent transformations, but her divine essence had yet to reach its absolute threshold.

Nial deduced this by accessing Damian's memories. The Late God of Darkness had confronted numerous Advocates, granting him keen insight into discerning when an Advocate was at their breaking point and the opportune moment to strike. His body continued to shake, and a faint smile touched his lips. The oppressive heat dissipated, and the sky of the divine realm reverted to its natural hues. Concurrently, Nial felt a surge of both joy and sorrow within his heart.

'Sorrow? Why would I feel such a thing? No... those aren't my emotions; they belong to the Advocate right now!' He landed, gripping the Eternal Darkness Spear firmly. Regardless of the Advocate's feelings, Nial resolved to remain steadfast. He had to defeat and eliminate her permanently to grant the Universe precious more time. The Eternal Darkness Spear vibrated intensely.

'Is that you, Master?' Nial wondered, finding the thought almost unbelievable. The Late God of Darkness certainly wasn't residing within the Eternal Darkness Spear; that would be illogical and absurd. After a moment, Nial refocused on the Advocate. He could discern her labored breathing and the weak flutter of her wings—clear evidence that she had pushed herself to execute her final attack.

"Splendid, truly splendid. Your capabilities have far surpassed my initial expectations. Even Damian, at his peak, couldn't have exerted such influence over me, especially when you weren't yet on the same divine rank," the Advocate of the Pryard declared, her voice resonating with a gravelly weight.

'Even Damian couldn't achieve this? What kind of absurd claim is that? I distinctly recall him thoroughly defeating you before the other Divine Gods intervened…'

"With the unveiling of your ultimate technique, both combatants have exhausted their final trump cards. Isn't that rather thrilling?"

'Trump cards? But I haven't revealed everything yet?'

It was evident that the Advocate of the Pryard had expended a significant portion of her divine power in her most recent assault. Simultaneously, Nial had unleashed the Power of the True Golden Dragon God, a momentous event in itself.

Nevertheless, Nial appeared to hold a distinct advantage. The Advocate's offensive had concluded, while the Power of the True Golden Dragon God remained actively engaged.

Furthermore, Psy's stored power was yet to be utilized. Nial also hadn't deployed his Dominion ability against the Advocate. This suggested that the Advocate might have overlooked this particular aspect of his abilities. If she were aware of his Dominion, she likely wouldn't be considering it in the first place.

Nial possessed the initiative, although maintaining a vigilant defense was still crucial. There was no conceivable scenario where the Advocate would passively accept her demise.

The contemplation of the battle's imminent conclusion sent a wave of tension through Nial.

His very existence hung precariously in the balance, a fact he understood with absolute clarity.

The conflict would rage until one of the two parties was completely annihilated. Inevitably, the victor would not emerge entirely unscathed.

Yet, Nial no longer harbored fear. He was not daunted by the prospect of what lay ahead. The profound despair that had previously consumed him had vanished.

The battle was nearing its end, and he was utterly prepared for whatever outcome awaited him!
