Fang Yu was suddenly attacked from multiple directions by unseen assailants, his perception abilities failing to detect them. Realizing he was trapped in an illusion created by a treasure, he activated his World Sync State and broke free. He saw the attackers and the source of the illusion: Ocean Law Codex Fragments. Fang Yu quickly defeated one of the assailants.

"Who exactly are you?"

With a casual flick of his wrist, Fang Yu tossed the now pliable corpse aside and instinctively checked the notification on his panel.

"Congratulations, Captain Fang Yu! You have defeated the [Illusionary Forest Twelve Warriors]. All members have gained Experience +4000, Gold Coins +200, and Medium-level Energy Potions +5."

"Illusionary Forest Twelve Warriors?" Fang Yu uttered the name, a ripple of confusion crossing his features. What were the Illusionary Forest Twelve Warriors? He had certainly never encountered that designation before.

"You… you recognize our name?" Fang Yu's quiet murmuring reached the ears of those nearby, causing them to stare at him with utter disbelief.

"Brother, there's no need for pleasantries. This brat can see us! He outright killed Seventh Sister earlier. We must finish him off quickly!" someone in the group exclaimed in fury, their eyes blazing with indignation. This individual had been close to Seventh Sister, sharing mutual affection. Witnessing Fang Yu snap her neck so abruptly ignited his rage, and he charged at Fang Yu without a second thought.

Seeing one of their own make a move, the group's leader intervened, pulling him back. "Fifth Brother, if he can perceive you, attacking is suicide. Fang Yu can contend with fully transcended Sea Ships. For us, he's akin to a master in the Spiritualist realm."

"Retreat. There's no need for rash actions. He is destined to perish today." The leader's gaze locked onto Fang Yu with malevolence, a cold chuckle escaping his lips as he swiftly withdrew with several of his companions.

"Trying to escape?!" Without further ado, Fang Yu’s body propelled forward, a blur heading directly for the Spiritualists. While on land, in a one-on-one confrontation, a Spiritualist's average combat strength generally surpassed that of a Sea Ship System captain. However, based on their apparent cultivation realms, Fang Yu assessed them to be merely at the ordinary Extraordinary Ship level. Without the boost from the Ocean Scripture, they would be no match for him.

At this precise moment, Fang Yu had entered a state of profound synchronicity with his surroundings, instantly perceiving every detail around him, no longer impeded by the Ocean Scripture. Yet, this synchronization demanded a significant toll on his power reserves. If he couldn't dispatch them swiftly, he risked falling into a disadvantageous state.

One... two... three... five... ten... eleven... people! Including the woman he had just dispatched, there were twelve in total. Could these twelve be the "Illusionary Forest Twelve Warriors" mentioned in the panel's notification? Fang Yu couldn't spare a moment to ponder the reasons behind their animosity. Without hesitation, he produced a bottle of High-level Energy Potion, downed it in one gulp, and immediately surged towards them.

His movement was impossibly fast, waves of Space Law coursing through him, allowing him to glide like a phantom, relentlessly advancing. Nevertheless, the Illusionary Forest Twelve Warriors, observing Fang Yu's approach, remained outwardly calm, merely offering cold, knowing smiles. The sight of those chilling smiles sent a jolt of unease through Fang Yu. This didn't feel right!

Suddenly, a massive contingent of Transcendents materialized from all directions. Clad in camouflage military uniforms, these Transcendents exuded formidable auras, and most importantly, they were overwhelmingly numerous. Within moments, thousands of them had the area completely surrounded and sealed. Subsequently, the Transcendents produced their firearms, cannons, and long-range laser weaponry, unleashing a devastating volley towards Fang Yu. A terrifying surge of power instantly erupted.

Fang Yu found himself immediately swallowed by the relentless barrage of artillery fire. A torrent of projectiles completely engulfed him.

"This brat was trained by Xu Yuan, a master of Space Law. Quite troublesome," one voice remarked.

"Fortunately, we were prepared for this encounter; no power is truly without its counter!" As the shells hurtled towards Fang Yu, a significant portion of them began to warp due to spatial ripples, vanishing into an unknown dimension before they could reach him. Despite the sheer volume of ordnance unleashed, the redirected projectiles were easily deflected by Fang Yu's shield. Under the ceaseless onslaught, Fang Yu, though under immense pressure, still found the capacity to retaliate. Each shot from his weapon claimed the life of a Transcendent.

Witnessing this turn of events, someone amidst the throng poured a can of viscous, pitch-black liquid. As the liquid spread, the very fabric of the surrounding space seemed to thicken, becoming sluggish and resistant to normal flow. Fang Yu's brows drew together in a deep frown. Who precisely were these individuals? And who had dispatched them with the intent to kill him? How did they possess knowledge of Xu Yuan? How could they be aware of his proficiency in Space Law, understanding him so thoroughly?

From the very beginning of this encounter, it appeared that every single move Fang Yu had made was anticipated and factored into their plans. Every technique he deployed was met with a specific counter, as if they had arrived perfectly prepared, targeting him with precision. Just as they had stated. No power is utterly invincible; every force possesses a counterbalance.

Although Space Law proved to be immensely powerful, offering Fang Yu substantial assistance during the pandemonium.

The moment the dark fluid was introduced into the vicinity, the surrounding space immediately grew dense.

Space manipulation, which Fang Yu wielded with ease, became sluggish, like wading through thick mud. Every maneuver was ten times slower and infinitely more taxing than it had been.

"Damn it..."

Fang Yu uttered a curse under his breath.

Without the protective shroud of Space Law, the artillery could no longer be redirected away from him.

The oppressive force bearing down on Fang Yu intensified sharply, as if colossal energy was crushing him, leaving him utterly immobilized.
