Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 676: Jasmine’s Aspirations

Grey immediately began the process of making a separate server for the Infinite Lifespan.
He isolated a part from his server and started repurposing it as the processing unit for the technique. Since the Infinity Mind was already connected to his Infinity Power, he anchored the server directly to that energy.
Almost instantly, the system became active.
Grey barely noticed the process because the server handled everything automatically in the background. Information began flowing through his subconscious without requiring any conscious attention from him.
The experiment was a huge success.
However, Grey realized that Alissa would probably have a much harder time replicating the process herself. She didn’t have servers like he did, so she would need to develop the technique through pure mental discipline.
Grey began gathering data inside his server.
He recorded how the system functioned and studied its basic practical applications. Every detail was catalogued, organized, and prepared for transfer.
Once he had gathered enough information, he sent all of the accumulated data to Alissa’s mind.
Alissa’s eyes widened slightly as the information flooded into her mind.
"This is..."
"Everything I learned," Grey said with a smile. "It should help you understand the basic principle."
Alissa nodded gratefully and began practicing the technique herself. Her progress was slower than Grey’s, but the data he had provided gave her a clear path forward.
Ouroboros watched them both with an approving expression.
"Good. Now for the next technique."
She turned toward Grey specifically.
"This one is called Infinity Communication."
Grey raised an eyebrow at the name.
"Communication?"
"Yes." Ouroboros nodded. "This ability is powerful enough to allow you to communicate with beings like us across the Endless Reality and Higher Realm itself. Distance becomes meaningless when Infinity is involved."
Communicating across the Endless Reality and the Higher Planes?
That was an absurd level of range.
"However, there is an important limitation," Ouroboros continued. "Like I mentioned, It has to be beings like us. Infinity Communication can only establish a connection with someone who also possesses the same ability."
Grey understood immediately.
"So I can only talk to other Infinity Dragons."
"Exactly." Ouroboros sighed softly. "At present, the only beings capable of fulfilling that requirement are ourselves. Your ability will have extremely limited practical use until you and Alissa make me more grandchildren."
"..." Grey became speechless at her words and Alissa who was working hard to understand Infinite Lifespan blushed slightly as if she had heard what Ouroboros said.
Grey on the other hand, decided to ignore her shameless words for now.
Despite the limitation, Grey still wanted to learn it. The technique could become invaluable in the future if more Infinity Dragons appeared. He could talk with his kids with Alissa anytime he wants to.
Ouroboros soon began demonstrating the process.
She showed him how to use Infinity Power to establish a communication pathway that transcended ordinary dimensional and spatial boundaries. The energy stretched outward without limit, creating a connection that could theoretically reach anywhere.
Grey followed her instructions carefully.
He gathered his Infinity Power and extended it outward, attempting to create the same pathway Ouroboros had demonstrated. The energy resisted at first, struggling to maintain coherence over such vast distances.
But Grey persisted.
Eventually, the connection stabilized.
A pathway of pure Infinity Power stretched from his existence outward into the endless void, ready to link with anyone who possessed the same ability.
Grey understood now.
He could potentially communicate with someone regardless of how impossibly distant they were, provided they had Infinity Communication as well.
"Well done," Ouroboros said with a satisfied nod.
The training session concluded shortly after.
Grey decided to leave and find Jasmine.
He eventually arrived at her research facility, a massive complex filled with advanced equipment and cutting-edge technology. Dimensional scanners lined the walls. Energy analyzers hummed with activity.
Experimental cores pulsed with strange energies, and countless other devices filled every available space.
Grey had made certain that Jasmine had everything she could possibly need for her research. She didn’t have to worry about funding or equipment, allowing her to focus entirely on experimentation and invention.
Jasmine was standing over a massive machine when she noticed his arrival.
She turned around with a slightly sad expression.
"You finally found time to find me, Chief Grey. I almost thought you forgot about me."
Grey gave a helpless chuckle at her words.
"How can that be? I wouldn’t forget you or anything."
Jasmine clicked her tongue at his answer.
She clearly wasn’t entirely satisfied with his response.
Grey’s lips twitched when he saw her reaction. He looked toward the enormous machine she had been working on and decided to change the subject.
"What are you making?"
Jasmine’s expression brightened immediately.
"I’m building a Reality Ship."
Grey raised his eyebrows at her words.
"Why are you building something like that?"
"This is only practice for something much bigger," Jasmine explained proudly. "My ultimate goal is to create a vessel capable of traveling between the higher and lower planes."
Grey stared at her in stunned silence.
The ambition behind that goal was enormous.
Creating a ship that could travel between planes of existence was something that even the most advanced civilizations struggled to achieve. Yet here was Jasmine, treating it as merely the end goal of her current research.
But Grey didn’t look down on her for it.
He knew exactly how talented she was.
Jasmine was a genius, and he would expect nothing less from her.
Grey then remembered something else.
"Jasmine, I wanted to ask you about the Mecha Race."
Jasmine tilted her head at his question.
"You were given a lift by them once," Grey reminded her. "Do you know where they went afterward?"
Jasmine shook her head.
"I have no idea where they are now. They dropped me off and then disappeared somewhere."
Grey became thoughtful after hearing this.
He needed to find the Mecha Race no matter what. They might be the key to allowing his loved ones to anchor themselves into the Information Layer. Without them, he might not be able to solve that problem.
