Grey and Alissa appeared at the edge of the universe in an instant.

What they saw made Grey’s eyes narrow sharply.

A massive fleet stretched across the void, thousands of warships arranged in perfect formation. Each vessel radiated power at the 11th rank minimum, and at the center of the formation floated a colossal flagship.

The aura coming from that flagship was unmistakably at the 12th rank.

"So someone came knocking already." Grey said with a sigh.

Alissa stood beside him, her expression serious as she assessed the threat.

A projection appeared before the fleet, showing a middle-aged man in golden armor. His eyes carried arrogance that came from confidence in his power.

"Attention, inhabitants of this newly ascended universe." The man’s voice boomed across space. "I am Grand Commander Vexus of the Eternal Dominion."

He smiled with condescension.

"Your universe has just entered the 12th plane of existence, which means you fall under our jurisdiction now. We already control six universes in this dimensional plane, and yours will be the seventh."

Grey listened without any change in expression.

"You have two options." Vexus continued. "Submit peacefully and become a vassal state, or resist and be razed to the ground. We have crushed countless universes before yours, so choose wisely."

Grey turned to Alissa with a slight smile.

"Want to test your powers?" He asked casually. "They are plenty of beings in the 11th rank there."

"Yes." Alissa said with a nod.

Grey stepped forward and released a fraction of his aura.

12th rank pressure exploded outward, crashing against the entire fleet like a tidal wave. Hundreds of weaker ships trembled under the weight, their crews struggling to remain standing.

Vexus’s arrogant expression faltered instantly.

"What?!" He shouted with disbelief. "A 12th rank expert in a newly ascended universe?!"

That was impossible.

Universes that just reached the 12th plane never had powerhouses at that level. It took thousands of years minimum for such beings to emerge after ascension.

Yet here one stood, radiating power that matched his own.

"You picked the wrong universe to threaten. Buddy." Grey said coldly.

He vanished from his position.

Vexus barely had time to raise his defenses before Grey appeared directly in front of him. A fist connected with the hastily formed barrier, shattering it instantly.

The Grand Commander flew backward through his own flagship, crashing through multiple walls before stabilizing himself.

"You dare?!" Vexus roared with fury.

He erupted with his full 12th rank power, golden energy coating his body like armor. A massive halberd materialized in his hands, its blade humming with destructive force.

"I am the Grand Commander of the Eternal Dominion!" He bellowed. "I have conquered six universes! You think you can stand against me?!"

Grey just looked at him with boredom.

Vexus’s face went pale.

Grey appeared before him again.

His fist connected with Vexus’s chest.

Vexus coughed blood as he was sent flying once more.

Meanwhile, Alissa had engaged the rest of the fleet.

"You think numbers will save you?" She asked coldly.

Ice erupted from her body in all directions.

The temperature of space dropped to absolute zero as her Source Law of Frost activated at full power. Dozens of warships froze solid in an instant, their crews unable to even scream before death claimed them.

The fleet’s admirals panicked.

"Fire everything!" One of them screamed. "Kill the dragon!"

Thousands of energy cannons aimed at Alissa and unleashed their payload simultaneously. The combined firepower could destroy planets, enough to threaten even 11th rank experts.

Alissa activated her Infinity Barrier.

The attacks entered her defensive field and simply stopped. They continued moving forward, covering distance with each passing moment, but the distance between them and her body had become infinite.

They would never reach her.

"My turn." Alissa said.

She opened her mouth and unleashed a breath attack.

Frozen infinity erupted from her jaws, a beam of cold that stretched endlessly in all directions. Everything it touched froze and shattered, ships exploding into fragments of ice that scattered across the void.

Three hundred ships fell from one attack.

The admirals watching this scene felt their souls tremble with terror.

"Retreat!" One of them screamed. "We need to retreat!"

But it was too late.

Grey was already finished with Vexus.

The Grand Commander lay broken before him, his golden armor reduced to scrap metal. Divine Thunder still crackled across his body, paralyzing his source and preventing any recovery.

Grey smiled at those words.

"Good." He said. "Let them come. I’ll destroy them all the same."

He raised his hand, and Nexus Axiom Power gathered in his palm.

"Wait!" Vexus screamed. "I can give you information! I know things about the 12th plane!"

Grey considered his words for a moment.

"Alright, Speak. Let’s see what you have." He commanded.

"W-Well, The Eternal Dominion is just one of many factions in the 12th plane!" He said rapidly. "There are powers far greater than us! The Higher Realms send envoys here regularly, recruiting talents for their sects!"

Grey already knew about the Myriad Realm Sect, but he let Vexus continue.

"There’s also the Abyss!" Vexus added. "They’ve been expanding aggressively lately! Multiple 12th plane universes have already fallen to their corruption!"

"They’ve been setting traps everywhere. There are Corrupted universes that look normal until you enter them! Many powerhouses have fallen to their schemes already."

Grey had already encountered one such trap. The Abyssal General had ambushed him in a corrupted universe.
