Grey confronts a hostile fleet by himself, then reveals to Alan and Alissa that the timeline has reset twice, with only he retaining his memories. He warns them that something is observing them and they must not think about the resets outside his Nexus Energy shield. They then discover a frozen planet inhabited by Alogians who are born with Chaos Energy and grow stronger by surviving destruction. Grey meets their king, an elderly man with a mortal body but immense State Power.

His pupils contracted sharply.

Throughout his entire evolution journey, State Power was something only Ninth Rank Dao Generation experts could wield. It was born from comprehending one’s own Dao and Axiom, requiring countless years of meditation and understanding. Yet this king possessed it naturally, without understanding cultivation, without even knowing what an Axiom was.

Throughout his entire evolutionary journey, if there is one thing he knew about state power, it was that this was directly the power that could potentially help you reach the Ascendant Domain.

It was born from the highest source of enlightenment that not even Dao or law could compare itself and the understanding it required was not something such common beings should have at all.

People will go to war for this power and now there was entire planet with people that uses State Power which evolved with the more destruction they did.

It was like they were bringing out their potential of the Chaos Power of the Chaos State that the Chaos Emperor uses.

"This race has been using Axiom Power all along."

"Do you guys have any sort of skills or techniques?" Grey couldn’t help but ask.

"No? What’s a skill or technique." The king looked confused.

Grey fell silent hearing this.

So it was just brute forcing, was no one intelligent enough to create a technique or a skill?

It was interesting.

But for now, he will keep that in the back of the mind. He wanted to see if he could find more information about this world and it’s origin.

Grey immediately stepped forward, his voice cutting through the silence. "Tell me, do your people possess any ancient relics?"

The king blinked in confusion. "Ancient relics?"

Grey nodded. "Something older than your civilization, something left behind."

The king shook his head slowly. "I don’t know what you’re talking about."

Grey didn’t believe him, his expression becoming cold.

Without warning, Pseudo Tenth Rank pressure erupted from his body. The throne room trembled violently, space twisted and distorted around them, frost instantly evaporated from every surface. Every Alogian in the hall fell onto one knee, gasping for breath.

Even the king struggled to breathe under the overwhelming force.

Grey calmly repeated his question. "Think carefully, I’m asking one final time."

The king desperately shook his head. "I truly don’t know!"

Grey’s pressure increased again, crushing down on everyone. "Don’t test my patience."

The king nearly collapsed from his throne, his entire body trembling. Finally he shouted desperately.

"Wait!" His voice cracked. "There is something!"

Grey withdrew a little pressure, allowing the old man to breathe.

The king spoke while breathing heavily. "Our ancestors always spoke of The Center."

Grey narrowed his eyes. "Center?"

The king nodded frantically. "The very center of our universe, nobody is allowed inside, we’ve protected it for countless generations." He paused, gathering his courage. "Perhaps that’s what you’re looking for."

Grey immediately said, "Take me there."

The king didn’t dare refuse.

They left the frozen planet shortly after, the Reality Ship following the king’s guidance through the glitching universe. Eventually they arrived at a strange region unlike anything they had seen before. Stars were frozen in place, reality occasionally glitched violently, time felt unstable. Chaos Energy became unusually dense, making the air itself shimmer.

Alan quietly commented. "This place feels wrong."

Grey agreed. "Something is distorting reality here."

Could this be where the Chaos Source Codex was in?

Such amount of Chaos Energy was not normal.

Eventually they discovered an enormous stone door floating in the void. It stretched for light years in every direction, ancient symbols continuously rearranging themselves across its surface. The door radiated an overwhelming pressure that made even Grey pause.

Grey immediately noticed something important.

"An Array," he thought.

He approached carefully.

Grey spent considerable time analyzing the array, his eyes scanning every symbol and formation. The symbols formed an Eighth Rank sealing array, powered directly by Chaos Axiom Energy. It continuously reconstructed itself, making conventional breaking methods useless.

Grey slowly understood its true function.

"Interesting, it’s both a lock and a kill mechanism," he thought.

If someone attempted forcing the door open, the array would reverse its function. It would compress the surrounding reality violently, then detonate with catastrophic force. Even Ninth Rank evolvers would suffer severe injuries from such an explosion.

Grey smiled slightly. "Fortunately there’s no need to break it."

Grey extended one finger, Source Power activating around him. A thread of Axiom Energy entered the array, but instead of destroying it, Grey began deconstructing its very laws. Symbols disappeared one after another, entire formations unraveling from within. The array couldn’t even react to what was happening.

Eventually the final symbol vanished.

The massive stone door slowly opened with a deep rumbling sound.

Grey, Alan, Alissa, and the king all entered together. The instant they crossed the threshold, the door immediately closed behind them with a thunderous boom. Darkness surrounded them completely, then reality began glitching violently.

The glitches resembled echoes, not ghosts or memories. Reality itself was replaying old events like a broken recording. With each glitch, different figures briefly appeared before vanishing.

The first echo spoke. "The Chaos Emperor’s fragment is definitely here."

Another appeared. "Search everything!"

A third. "Don’t touch the array!"

A fourth. "We were too late, it’s already awakening!"

Every fragment disappeared after only a second, leaving no trace behind.

Alan became confused. "Were those people?"

Grey slowly nodded. "Those might be an echo of the past."

"Something like the reality replaying itself?" Alan asked with a frown.

Grey nodded again. "Exactly."

The three quietly discussed what they were witnessing. Alan believed they were seeing the past, Alissa suggested the place existed outside normal time. Grey theorized carefully.

"Perhaps every person who entered here left behind traces."

Then another glitch occurred violently.

A voice echoed desperately. "Seal it!"

Immediately followed by another. "No, the Emperor planned this!"

Grey’s expression slowly changed.

"Planned?" he thought.

Without warning, the floor cracked beneath their feet. Reality began collapsing around them, entire walls becoming white static. The echoes suddenly stopped, everything became deathly silent.

Finality finally spoke in his mind. "Grey, something is coming."

Grey slowly raised his head.

The entire world shattered like broken glass, fragments of reality falling away into nothing. Beyond the shattered reality, an endless white radiance appeared. At its center, a colossal ancient array slowly rotated.

The pressure released from it far exceeded anything they had encountered so far.
