Grey celebrated his eighteenth birthday with a grand banquet attended by family, friends, and gods. While guests enjoyed the festivities, Grey reflected on his rapid progress over the past year. His parents, partners, and friends expressed their well wishes, culminating in a heartfelt speech from Grey. After the celebration concluded, Valeria, Lia, and Alissa entered his room, leaving Grey bewildered about their intentions.

The morning sun gently woke Grey up.

He blinked slowly. The sleepiness faded as he turned his head.

Beside him lay Valeria, Lia, and Alissa. They were all breathing softly, perfectly at peace after the exhaustion of last night’s work...

The peaceful sight brought a smile to Grey’s face.

Not wanting to wake them, he leaned in and gently kissed each of their foreheads.

Careful not to make a sound, he slipped out from under the covers and got ready to leave the bed.

But just as he was about to turn away, Alissa slowly opened her eyes. Her long hair was a beautiful mess, falling over her shoulders as she looked up at him with a sleepy, heavy gaze.

"Hug me..." she called out softly. Her voice carried a sweet softness.

Grey’s smile widened this.

He gave up on leaving, walking right back over to the bed and gently pulling her into his arms.

Alissa immediately melted into his hug.

The two quietly enjoyed the calm, sunny morning together while Valeria and Lia continued to sleep soundly beside them.

Resting his chin near the top of her head, Grey could not help but tease her. "You always act so shy..."

"But yesterday you completely surprised me. I definitely was not expecting that from you."

Alissa instantly turned bright red hearing his words.

The deep blush spread all the way to the tips of her ears.

She turned around and buried her face firmly against his chest, refusing to look him in the eye. "D... Do not bring that up again... or I’ll get angry."

Grey chuckled.

"Why not?" he asked, leaning down to gently kiss her forehead once more.

Alissa pouted. She lifted her hands to lightly push against his chest, trying half-heartedly to escape his teasing. "I am still tired... Leave me alone."

Laughing at her flustered reaction, Grey pulled her close once more, wrapping her in another tight, loving hug.

"Alright, alright. I will let you rest,"

Just then, Valeria slowly opened one eye. Catching sight of the two of them tangled together in the morning light, a playful grin spread across her lips.

Without missing a beat, she reached over and nudged Lia awake.

Taking in the scene, the two immediately launched into a team effort of teasing.

"So that is where our little sister disappeared to." Valeria said loudly, stretching her arms above her head. Two mountains softly heaved up and down when she did that.

Lia giggled, her eyes shining with mischief. "We wake up and she is already keeping him all to herself."

"No fair," Valeria added, faking a deep sigh of betrayal.

Alissa became even more flustered.

Her face grew so red it looked like a tomato as she tried to hide entirely beneath the thick blankets. Grey could only smile helplessly.

After washing up and getting properly dressed, Grey left the room feeling fully refreshed. Last night’s party was definitely something to remember about and he will continue remembering it till the day he died.

But a new day meant returning to their path of power.

Walking side by side down the hallway with Lia, Grey turned to her. "How is your progress with the Law of Hongmeng lately?"

Lia turned serious hearing his question. "I have made steady progress since we left Blue Star. But it is much harder than normal Laws. I can feel its power continuing to grow naturally inside me, but I just have not been able to make that final jump into Major Comprehension."

Grey nodded. He understood her struggle better than anyone.

Unlike the Divine Laws that controlled the God World, Hongmeng stood entirely above them.

It was the highest Origin, the exact starting point where countless Laws were born. Because it existed on a higher level of reality, the divine energy of lesser Divine Laws simply could not affect it.

Hence, the collaborative God Seal Resonance that they conducted four days ago was not useful to Lia at all. She was just there to act as an amplifier.

Though, she did enter minor comprehension over the divine law of fire that day.

He thought for a moment before an idea sparked in his head. "Then let’s go and comprehend it together. How about that?"

Lia’s eyes lit up hearing this, and she happily agreed.

Finding a quiet, private training room, the two sat cross-legged on the smooth floor, facing each other.

Grey explained his plan.

He would connect their minds. By linking their thoughts, they could share their ideas and comprehension, elevating the overall comprehension speed.

"I used this same method with Alissa when we were learning the Myriad Law of Chaos," Grey explained, holding his hands out toward her.

This was basically the God Seal Array, but without the amplification of divine law energy to help him comprehended faster. Hence, it was going to take a lot of time.

Lia nodded, gently placing her palms against his.

The moment they made the connection, their minds combined into a shared space.

Streams of comprehension began flowing in a nonstop loop between their bodies as Chaos Lotus and Endless Potential Physique worked together to increase comprehension.

The true nature of Hongmeng fully revealed itself to them bit by bit.

Hongmeng was the infinite blank canvas where all Divine Laws eventually appeared. Every single rule of the God World, no matter how complex, always traced back to this one ancient Law.

They realized that the Law of Hongmeng did not control other Laws through pure force. Rather, it ruled because it was their clear beginning. To understand it did not require mastering separate elements. It required understanding the very base of existence itself.

Lost in these deep thoughts, the two forgot all about the outside world.

Time quietly passed.

Days turned into weeks, and an entire month went by in a flash.

Throughout that month, their shared understanding constantly climbed, feeding off each other’s ideas in a perfect loop.

Near the end of the month, the feeling in the room shifted wildly. Huge, heavy streams of Origin Power began spinning fiercely around both Grey and Lia, forming a massive storm of ancient energy.

The surrounding world began to shake violently. Countless glowing Origin Runes appeared out of thin air. They danced and spun around them like a storm of ancient stars, rewriting the very space they sat in.

Boom!

A huge wave of understanding washed completely over them.

Lia’s aura shot up. She shattered her long-standing block and successfully stepped into the Major Succession of the Law of Hongmeng.

At the same time, the shared comprehension pushed Grey past his own limits. He advanced his grasp of the Law from the Entry stage straight into Minor Comprehension.

As the spinning Origin Power slowly faded and the huge power settled back into their bodies, Grey and Lia opened their eyes.

The Power of Hongmeng flickered in both of their eyes.
