Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven Chapter 527: Truth of World Tree

Willpower constituted the Spirit. An ancestor who had achieved the Great Perfection had reached a state where their will could bend reality itself.
He was bending reality with his sheer willpower!
It was, to say the least, an astonishing sight.
This then begged the question.
"Are you a transmigrator, Spirit Elf Ancestor?" Grey blurted out the question.
The moment the words left his lips, time itself seemed to grind to a halt as the elder slowly turned his gaze towards Grey.
"What did you just say?" the elder inquired, disbelief lacing his tone.
"Stopping time with willpower." Grey's own surprise swelled upon witnessing this feat.
"Did the Heavenly Dao not come for you?" Grey asked, a sense of wonder filling him.
"No." The elder shook his head, a hint of suspicion entering his eyes.
"The Heavenly Dao can do nothing to me while I am in proximity to the World Tree, as it is an artifact originating from the Ascendancy Domain."
"Oh." Grey’s mouth opened and closed, searching for words.
"A being of your caliber... I initially thought it was a mere fluke when I heard you had destroyed the Immortal Sovereign, but it appears that was not the case."
"A fifth-rank defeating an eighth-ranker. It is truly unheard of," the elder sighed.
"And that man accompanying you, he is Alan Benson, correct? The individual who pioneered the Esper path?"
"Indeed," Grey confirmed.
"However, you have yet to answer my question. Are you a transmigrator?"
"I've noticed certain references within this world, such as planet themes and the like, that belong to old cartoons I watched in my previous world."
"Yes." The elder let out a sigh. "I am indeed a transmigrator."
"But the fact that you can recognize this... Does that imply you are one as well?"
"I am." Grey gave a silent nod, his heart giving a noticeable leap.
‘Another transmigrator from Earth? And he seemed to possess knowledge of the Ascendancy Domain as well.’
This development far exceeded Grey’s expectations.
"You... How much do you know about it all?"
"Would you care to discuss this over tea, friend?" the Spirit Ancestor proposed with a gentle smile. "I can answer your questions, and in return, I hope you will share yours with me."
"Certainly."
Time unfroze as if it had never paused, and both Grey and the elder resumed their previous demeanor as if nothing had occurred.
"There is something that Senior Spirit Ancestor and I need to discuss. We will return shortly," Grey informed the others, turning to address them.
Though the others regarded Grey with a degree of suspicion, they nonetheless permitted him to depart with the ancestor.
The Spirit Ancestor’s son and his wife stepped forward to attend to the rest of the group.
Tea was prepared for Grey, and soon, their conversation began.
"How long ago did you transmigrate?"
"It was several hundred thousand years ago," the Spirit Ancestor replied with a sigh.
"I was a soldier who perished in war. Upon awakening, I found myself in this universe, a realm of advanced technology and potent magic, teeming with evolvers and diverse races."
"However, upon my awakening, I was born with a new power."
"The power of spirit," the Spirit Ancestor declared, demonstrating his abilities. With a wave of his hand, sentient creatures materialized into existence.
"The power of spirit is no trivial matter. This gift was bestowed upon me by the World Tree."
"The Law of Spirit also directly emanates from the World Tree itself."
"Granting the ability to manipulate willpower and encompass reality as a whole."
"But willpower is supposed to be a common power shared across all of endless reality, isn't it?" Grey inquired, a frown creasing his brow.
"Ah, regarding that..." The Spirit Ancestor shook his head slowly.
"The World Tree within our world is merely a fragment of the true one. It is but a projection."
"Based on my findings, the World Tree descended into our realm when an Ascendant from the domain accidentally jettisoned a seed from their farm, and it fell here, subsequently taking root across the entirety of endless reality."
"What?" Grey's expression darkened considerably.
"It can't be, can it?" Grey found it difficult to accept. Such a potent entity, how could it possibly be merely an accidental discard from a farm?
"That was my initial thought as well. However, this information," the Spirit Ancestor gestured around, "originates from the tree itself."
"It possesses sentience."
"Naturally, I cannot ascertain its absolute veracity."
Grey let out a sigh upon hearing this.
"What exactly is the World Tree, then?"
"Well, it is intrinsically linked to Ascendancy Valor," the spirit elder explained. "I am unsure if you are aware, but the World Tree holds approximately 999 Ascendancy Valor within it. It contains that significant amount of valor."
"Currently, no single entity possesses ownership of the World Tree, as it is actually rooted at the very center of endless reality."
"Which is our Earth," the Spirit Ancestor announced dramatically, anticipating a strong reaction from Grey. However, Grey merely met his gaze with an impassive expression.
"Spirit Ancestor. I am already well-informed about that matter. Please, continue with what you were saying."
The Spirit Ancestor cleared his throat, a tad taken aback by Grey's response.
Simultaneously, Grey felt a surge of pleasant surprise. To think this individual was privy to all this information?
He was a hidden prodigy, never revealing his true capabilities. Grey had reviewed the records; the ancestor had not left his domain for countless years.
"So if this is merely a fragment of the true World Tree, does that imply we can utilize it to journey to other World Tree regions?" Grey inquired, his curiosity piqued. "And is the assertion that the World Tree’s leaves are worlds accurate?"
"Indeed... and indeed," the ancestor affirmed with a significant nod.
"However, it’s not in a straightforward manner. The World Tree spans all of infinite reality, having planted its roots in each and every one; consequently, these are regarded as the World Tree’s leaves."
"Yet, across all worlds, invariably, there exists a world situated at the termination of its roots. This realm is shielded from the Origin Will, and the sole passage into it is granted solely by the World Tree itself."
"This very world serves as a nexus, connecting numerous other worlds."
"The last occasion I journeyed there, I inadvertently found myself transported to a different universe. The beings residing there were incredibly potent."
"On that note, it was also during that trip that I happened upon another Earth Transmigrator."
"There are more?" Grey expressed his astonishment.
"Affirmative. Your familiarity with the paragons and the ascendancy domain likely aids your comprehension. We operate a multiversal organization comprised exclusively of Earth Transmigrators."
