Kyrian continued his blacksmithing training with Sun Luguo, creating improved daggers that showed his growing mastery. After the lesson, he returned to his courtyard to consolidate his cultivation. He then began studying the complex recipe for the Earth Dragon Mist pill, realizing the need for a powerful spiritual sense, which he currently lacked.

Kyrian spent several hours studying the tablet, his eyes moving over each symbol with meticulous attention.

Every time he encountered a complex structure, his violet eyes analyzed the symbols with an intensity bordering on obsession. He did not simply want to memorize the recipe; he wanted to understand it, to comprehend the logic behind each step.

When he finally put away the jade tablet, it was already late, the night enveloping the Caravan of the Sky in its dark mantle. Kyrian then took another object from the ring, a huge book, the material Sun Luguo had previously given him about ordinary weapons.

He opened the first page and once again immersed himself in his studies. There were thousands of weapons described in that book, swords, spears, axes, daggers, hammers, bows, and unconventional weapons he had never seen before.

Different types of alloys, different tempering methods, and different ways of balancing weight, durability, and flexibility.

Kyrian read slowly, each page a new discovery. Even though they were not cultivation techniques, that knowledge could be extremely useful in the future. The more he knew about ordinary weapons, the better he could understand how to transform them into spiritual weapons.

Hours passed, time flowing like water between his fingers. Finally, when he realized that his eyes were beginning to grow heavy, Kyrian closed the book and stored it in his spatial ring. It was time to sleep.

That night, just like the previous ones, his consciousness once again entered Azhura’k’s domain, the vast and silent space. Kyrian looked around, searching for Gao Ziyue, but found only emptiness. He walked for some time, calling her name, but no response came.

"Azhura’k?" His voice echoed through the space, filled with intent.

No response. The colossal presence that inhabited that domain remained silent, motionless, as if it were in a state of deep meditation. Kyrian tried again, but the result was the same.

He gave up. If that beast did not want to respond, there was not much he could do. His consciousness withdrew from the domain, returning to the world of dreams.

The next morning, Kyrian woke up early, even before the first rays of sunlight illuminated the courtyard. There were still a few hours before the comprehension competition, enough time for one more training session.

He went out into the courtyard, the sky above the Caravan of the Sky beginning to brighten. He sat beneath the tree again, closed his eyes, and began to consolidate his cultivation. Qi circulated, his body remained motionless, and his mind focused.

After some time, Kyrian opened his eyes and picked up the jade tablet again. The recipe for the Earth Dragon Mist was still in his mind, but a second reading revealed details he had not noticed before, small nuances in the order of the steps, and subtle interactions between the ingredients.

His fingers passed over the symbols, his expression becoming thoughtful.

"Interesting..." He had found a possible alteration in the order of two essences, a modification that could reduce the amount of pressure on spiritual sense during one of the most critical stages of the process. He was not certain that it would work, but it was a promising discovery.

Kyrian put the tablet away again, then picked up his saber. He went to the center of the courtyard, his posture changing, the air around him seeming to grow heavier. He took a deep breath and began to train.

His first strike was simple.

’Whoosh!’ The blade cut through the air with a sharp sound. He advanced, a second slash, then a third. His movements were not particularly fast, but they were precise, each strike accompanied by a small amount of lightning Qi that flickered along the blade.

Kyrian repeated the movements he had learned previously, observing how his body connected with the weapon. He adjusted his posture, corrected the position of his feet, and controlled his breathing, trying to make every movement more natural. After some time, he began to increase his speed.

’Whoosh! Whoosh!’ The blade passed in front of his body in precise arcs. Kyrian advanced and retreated, turned, slashed, stopped, and then attacked again.

His training had improved considerably since he began. He still could not be considered a master of the saber, but his understanding of the weapon had grown significantly.

When he finally put away the saber, his body was covered in a thin layer of sweat. Kyrian breathed deeply, feeling the cool air fill his lungs. There was little time left.

He took one last sip of tea, the hot liquid sliding down his throat, and went back inside to prepare. Shortly afterward, he left his courtyard.

The comprehension competition awaited him, and it was the final. This time, the number of participants was much smaller; the previous stage had eliminated most of them, and only forty-five people had advanced.

This meant that the Celestial Descent Festival was also coming to an end. After the final of the comprehension competition, only the last major event would remain, the largest auction of the Festival, in which the four great auctions would be brought together into a single event.

Kyrian did not know exactly what treasures would appear, but he knew that an event of that level would probably attract extremely powerful cultivators. Perhaps he would find something interesting, perhaps not. For now, his attention was focused on the competition.

When he arrived at the arena, there were already quite a few people there. The forty-five participants were scattered throughout the designated area, their faces serious, their postures tense. Kyrian observed the others, recognizing a few familiar faces.

Everyone seemed more serious than before. The difficulty had increased, and the competitors knew that they were getting closer and closer to the final reward. A Secret Technique, a technique that no one knew yet, awaited the winner.

Kyrian was curious as well.

After some time, the examiner entered the arena, his imposing presence silencing the crowd. The doors were closed, and the noise from the stands diminished until it became a distant murmur.

The examiner raised a jade tablet, his voice echoing throughout the arena.

"The test will begin now."

The forty-five people immediately focused, their eyes fixed on the examiner, their minds prepared for the challenge that was approaching.
