My Ultimate Sign-in System Made Me Invincible Chapter 3: Blue Valley Residential Complex

Palm Ville Estate, Blue Valley Complex.
The sleek red Maserati GranTurismo eased to a gentle halt right before the complex.
Within the vehicle, Liam's features beamed with a broad, sunny grin.
The trip from his previous neighborhood to this spot had proven thoroughly delightful. Despite the road's awful state and endless jolts, he sensed absolutely no discomfort.
It seemed as though he were gliding effortlessly.
Liam recognized he owed thanks to his Pro-level Driving Skill too. Absent that, the car would have suffered damage long before.
He shut down the engine and pulled the apartment papers from the system's storage.
The papers appeared on his thighs, and right away, a dark key card featuring golden bands drew his attention.
Liam grasped the key card and inspected it closely. He sensed the golden bands were authentic gold, and the card's upscale vibe indicated a premium material.
Moments later, he halted his inspection without uncovering anything notable.
Truthfully, it wasn't a case of discovering nothing; he simply lacked knowledge of what to seek or the proper way to search.
"I shouldn't strain my brain like this," he grinned, as he gathered the papers from his lap, swung open the door, and exited the vehicle.
Exiting the car, Liam lifted his gaze to take in the environment, his jaw slackening slightly from surprise.
Everywhere he looked, high-end vehicles dominated the scene. Brands of all kinds were present—Mercedes, Maybach, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini...
This display of automobiles made Liam feel as if he'd entered a lavish heaven.
The cars weren't the only highlight; the very air he breathed now felt pure, invigorating, and completely free from any odors.
He scanned the area and spotted no trace of grime. Even the open parking area where he stood was impeccably preserved.
Then came the array of elegant buildings surrounding him, leaving him utterly at a loss for words.
At that moment, he grasped why the guards had blocked him at the estate entrance.
The vehicles alone revealed everything he needed to understand.
Liam let out a sigh paired with a smile, shut the car door, and headed toward the structure.
Once inside, he made his way to the dedicated elevator for his condominium.
That's right, the condo featured its very own private elevator—one of the many advantages included with the unit.
Liam had reached the elevator and was preparing to swipe the key card to activate it when the public elevator parted and a figure emerged.
"Hey, that elevator isn't meant for general access. Try this one instead," a woman's voice instructed.
Liam spun around to face the speaker and felt astonishment at the identity.
Stacy had been Liam's old schoolmate. They'd attended middle and high school jointly, until his withdrawal during the initial part of second year.
Still, they hadn't been close back then, existing in utterly separate realms.
Stacy hailed from an affluent family, whereas Liam came from one facing hardships. Plus, she was the clever, gifted, stunning, and well-liked student, while he was the slow-witted and shy sort.
"Hey, didn't you catch what I said?" Stacy prompted, her tone pulling Liam from his reflections.
"Yeah, I heard. Thanks," Liam answered and faced his exclusive elevator.
He noticed she failed to identify him. He hadn't truly anticipated recognition anyway, considering how unnoticeable he'd been in school.
Stacy shook her head seeing the delivery guy ignore her advice. She figured it wasn't her issue and strode off.
"Folks nowadays. Tsk. You offer a tip and they act like you're being superior," she remarked, clucking her tongue in frustration.
Right as she uttered those words, an unusual elevator chime startled her. She pivoted quickly and witnessed the private elevator, unused for so long, sliding open.
Shock widened her eyes as she stared in bewilderment at the fellow who appeared around her age.
Her glance swept over him, hunting for whatever she'd overlooked, and that's when it registered.
"Th-That card?!" She whispered, stunned.
Doubting her sight, she checked again.
"It-It's actually that one. But why?" She wondered aloud, flabbergasted.
Having dwelled in the estate and this specific building for well over a year, she understood precisely what that card represented and its implications.
Yet, she couldn't wrap her mind around why someone resembling a delivery worker held it. Plus, those documents he gripped added to the puzzle.
A sense of irregularity hit her, prompting her to question the stranger personally.
"Hey! Wait, I need to speak with you," she called out, sprinting toward the elevator as its doors began to close.
Sadly for her, the enigmatic individual didn't bother holding the doors but casually observed her dash.
At the same time, inside the elevator, Liam brimmed with grins and excitement to explore his fresh apartment.
He suspected it held something unique thanks to the private elevator, though he remained clueless about how it differed from other units. Curiosity bubbled within him, tying it to the exclusive lift's purpose.
He ventured a theory that its top-floor spot might explain it, but certainty escaped him.
Stacy's behavior didn't even cross his mind again.

Several minutes passed before the elevator halted and its doors parted.
The scene beyond left Liam utterly amazed as the doors revealed it.
Directly ahead lay an extended, deserted corridor, ending with massive double doors. However, that wasn't what astonished him.
The real marvel was realizing this wasn't a standard condo—it was a penthouse!
Its placement on the highest level should have hinted as much, yet Liam hadn't delved that deeply.
Furthermore, he hadn't examined the property files he carried.
Or better said, he chose not to ponder it, worried about seeming presumptuous. To this day, he half-doubted it was a penthouse.
Liam reined in his feelings, exited the elevator, and proceeded along the passage.
Step by step, assurance built that this was truly a penthouse.
Transparent walls granted views of the cityscape from both flanks, complemented by a ceiling adorned with lavish chandeliers.
Liam's heart raced faster with the growing awareness. Reaching the door, he released a profound sigh.
Hands quivering, he pressed the key card to the reader, hearing the beep and subsequent click of the lock disengaging.
He paused to compose himself, shutting his eyes for a deep inhale followed by a gradual exhale.
His eyes burst open, a grin spreading as he gripped the handle and gradually swung the door inward.
A breathtaking vista entered Liam's sight, leaving him breathless.
"It really is a penthouse...," he murmured softly while stepping across the threshold.
He slipped off his shoes and advanced to the living space, struck silent once more.
Vast, plush, and costly-looking sofas edged in gold. Refined glass tables for sides and center, similarly accented. Striking wall decorations. Vases appearing sourced from bygone eras. And the flooring that mirrored him clearly.
From the overhead fixtures to the wall art and down to the ground, opulence radiated throughout.
Liam grinned and glanced rearward, jolted by the sight of a 115-inch 4K QLED television affixed to the wall.
"This is genuinely paradise," he stated, his face alight with joy.
