They raised their weapons in unison. Before the situation could spiral into chaos, I merely flicked my hand.

A soft pulse of essence rippled out. Every soldier slumped to the ground, falling into unconsciousness before they could even utter a sound.

Vivi cast a brief glance downward at the fallen troops.

She circled the core one final time before turning back to me with a smug, confident grin.
