My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 847 Back To Abor
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
He let out a deep sigh.
"You truly lack vision," he remarked. "Forming an alliance with the Nagas across this galaxy would prove far more advantageous for you in the future."
"Naturally, that's my intention," I responded.
"However, not at the cost of handing over something so precious."
A faint smirk crossed my lips.
"In exchange, you'll receive our assistance in handling your rifts."
Xeron's face changed subtly.
"How does a simple headquarters stack up against rescuing millions of Naga lives, General?" I went on in a relaxed tone. "I'll suggest that deal to your Matriarch."
He blinked in surprise.
"Damn," he grumbled. "So you do possess some intelligence after all."
His features then took on a touch of irritation.
"Yet you won't get to see the Matriarch."
"And why is that?" I inquired.
"She's ventured into the Crimson Zone."
"Is that so?" I lifted an eyebrow. "Her as well?"
I cocked my head a bit.
"Incidentally… what precisely is the Crimson Zone?"
Xeron snorted dismissively.
"Go discover it on your own. I possess no knowledge of it."
"I believe you have some idea," I countered.
He regarded me with a blank stare.
"Even if that's true, I wouldn't divulge it."
Irritation laced his voice clearly.
I gave a light shrug.
"Very well. Someday I'll uncover it myself."
After a brief pause, I added steadily.
"In the meantime, I'll continue growing stronger… to the point where your Matriarch must emerge to face me personally."
Xeron gazed at me briefly before a smile broke across his features.
"Such grand dreams."
He inclined his head gradually.
"Very well. We'll depart from your base."
Abruptly, he switched subjects.
"You're acquainted with Azalea, aren't you?"
I affirmed with a nod.
"Indeed."
"Then why not join me in visiting her?" Xeron suggested. "She was searching for you."
The suggestion surprised me a little.
"She was?" I questioned.
"Yes," he answered. "It concerns how you saved her life."
He shrugged offhandedly.
"You ought to see her. Plus, you'll witness the Naga capital."
I pondered briefly before declining with a shake of my head.
"I'm pleased she's faring well," I stated. "But I can't accompany you at present. Duties still demand my attention."
A subtle smirk returned to my face.
"Relay to her that she should await the moment a silver light graces the Naga world."
Xeron blinked once more, then fixed me with an entertained gaze.
"Quite audacious."
He let out a laugh.
"Though I appreciate that quality."
"Fair enough. It was a pleasure encountering you, Billion."
He hesitated before appending,
"I won't seek out Steve and North at this time. But please clarify the circumstances to them on my behalf."
His eyes narrowed faintly in curiosity.
"And once you decide to visit us… I'll engage in a thorough discussion with them too."
I acknowledged with a nod.
Silence hung between us briefly. Xeron cast me a final glance, blending intrigue and mirth, as though gauging my potential future achievements.
Wordlessly, he pivoted and headed downward. Upon arriving at the lower floors, the remaining Naga officers and troops started appearing from within the tower's interior, where they'd lingered. They swiftly assembled around their leader, sharing quick gestures prior to advancing to their vessels.
Xebec and the Naga female shot me a grave glance before boarding their ships.
The engines purred gently as the armada positioned itself. Shortly after, space warped, portals materializing in front. The vessels surged forward and vanished into the whirlpools, fading into the emptiness until only the vast stars lingered.
Moments afterward, my summons—Steve, North, and the others—materialized behind me, their eyes locked on the path the Naga fleet had taken.
"So, how did the talk go?" Knight inquired.
"Well… it turned out quite unexpected," I admitted.
They all turned to me as I succinctly outlined General Xeron's true nature and the insights from our exchange.
Steve's eyes grew wide.
"He's Dante?" he exclaimed, stunned.
"Technically, he's not the original Dante," I clarified. "Rather, a duplicate of the real one."
Steve furrowed his brow.
"Just how many duplicates does he possess?"
"No idea," I replied with a casual shrug. "Possibly millions… or perhaps just a handful. Difficult to tell."
I shook my head faintly.
"The guy remains an utter enigma."
North had stayed remarkably silent throughout the discussion.
I turned to her.
"North, what's bothering you?"
She denied it with a headshake.
"Nothing at all."
Yet after a beat, she murmured softly,
"It's only… he's no true Dante."
Her gaze drifted far away.
"He merely viewed the recollections. He never endured them alongside us."
I breathed out gradually and agreed with a nod.
"Yes, I share your view there."
We fell quiet for several moments.
"In any case," I pressed on, "they won't trouble our installations anymore. I'm confident of that. Xeron strikes me as shrewd. He won't meddle further after today's revelations."
My eyes drifted to the remote stars.
"Others, however, might not hold back."
I directed my attention to my companions.
"That's why you'll each proceed to safeguard one of our outposts in the primary sector."
Ragnar's ears perked up eagerly.
"Be it alien species or bandit factions," I stated evenly, "request their departure once."
"Should they decline…"
I halted briefly.
"Eliminate them. Raze it all. We'll hold position on Abor for a month to secure every outpost."
They all assented. Ragnar flexed his fingers with a broad smile, while Lyrate extended her digits like preparing for combat.
Following that, we made our way back to Abor's central hub.
Within the control dome, my allies were already quarreling over base assignments. Projected charts hovered overhead as Ragnar and Knight indicated various regions, arguing over spots most prone to incursions by foes or marauders. Ash watched the debate without a word.
I allowed them to strategize and approached the chamber's distant side, where General Kharzun, Primus, and Saleos awaited.
"Thank you," I expressed upon nearing. "For your support throughout this mission and for providing your forces when required."
General Kharzun grinned.
"Actually, gratitude is due from us."
He motioned at the stellar display in the space.
"Granting us entry to those three outposts near our core lets us track Eternal operations more effectively than ever."
His demeanor grew affectionate.
"And we're lucky to forge this alliance with you… courtesy of Primus."
"Should you require additional troops, warriors, or any aid whatsoever, feel free to call on us," Kharzun went on. "The Demon Monarch is absent presently, but upon his return, I'm sure he'll host a feast in your honor. He'll delight in learning you aided his kin amid such trials."
I nodded, offering a small smile.
"Certainly. No issue. I'll attend if it suits."
My focus then moved to Primus.
Kharzun laughed softly.
"We'll leave you two to chat privately."
"This way, Saleos," he instructed.
They exited the dome, isolating Primus and me.
I regarded him briefly before advancing and drawing him into a short embrace.
"Man… I long for the times we shared back then," he said, chuckling.
I laughed in response.
"How's your daughter faring?"
His expression eased.
"She's thriving," he said. "With her mother returned, stability has returned."
He stopped momentarily before adding.
"I haven't revealed the full story to her, but her mother's conduct has improved. So… all is well now."
"Glad to hear it," I replied.
Primus inclined his head.
"Our covert spy network is progressing nicely as well. We've begun outreach to adjacent worlds."
His sight shifted to the stellar chart.
"Yet with these outposts at our disposal… expansion seems even more feasible."
I agreed with a nod.
"Set it up. Utilize them effectively."
Primus examined me closely.
"Are you certain you want me overseeing all seventy-two outposts?"
"Absolutely," I answered promptly. "It would be a huge aid."
I crossed my arms.
"We can't linger indefinitely. Before long, we'll advance to wage greater wars."
"Sealing massive rifts. Confronting mightier adversaries. Bringing the battle to those who deem themselves invincible."
A subtle grin formed on my lips.
"For the Order of Absolute to flourish, our reputation must echo across the stars."
Primus nodded deliberately.
"Understood. I'll manage it."
Then he exhaled.
"Still, my quest hasn't arrived yet."
"I know," I acknowledged. "The quest for my subsequent advancement hasn't come to me either."
I halted briefly.
"But rest assured. I suspect it'll arrive shortly."
Primus nodded.
Yet in my thoughts, another idea surfaced. Should I gain direct contact with the System once more…I'd inquire why Primus's quest remained pending.
