My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 829 Advance

Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
Suspended above the ruined moon with bound unconscious observers, the protagonist encounters Silver, who reports similar hidden bases on the other moon used for real-time monitoring. They deliver the captives to the planet's capital for Lyrate to interrogate, while the protagonist reviews system notifications revealing a sharp level increase to 487 and eight million merit points from nullifying contracts and destroying operations. Knight returns with intelligence on the planet Abor, a concealed Core Sector world faked as destroyed, serving as Hollow Star's central hub for breeding abominations, distribution, and relay networks to other hidden sites.

"How distant is this asteroid belt?" I inquired of Knight.

He gave a subtle shake of his head. "I don't know the precise distance, but it's quite a ways off from our location. Why do you ask? Are you interested in exploring it?"

I gave a nod in agreement. "Indeed. I've been considering a trip to observe how they employ this illusion field for concealing the planet."

Prior to his chance to reply more, the fabric of space warped right next to us.

Lyrate materialized. A gentle, pleased smile graced her features.

"I've obtained the information," she announced.

Silver cast a quick look her way and then gestured casually at the knocked-out traitors sprawled close by. "We figured as much. Plus, we've captured additional individuals for your questioning."

Lyrate's gaze drifted to the insensate bodies nearby, and she offered a brief approving nod.

"So, what discoveries did you make?" I questioned.

"All of it," she responded casually. "Including his favorite meals, though I'll skip those particulars. What specifically interests you?"

"Locating their remaining bases," I stated promptly.

"That's straightforward," she explained. "Surely you noticed the teleportation circles dotted across this city. They serve as pathways. Every single one leads straight to a different base. That's the method they use to keep their operations linked."

She shrugged nonchalantly, like the solution was plain as day.

"Oh, and within the primary administrative structure, special portals connect right to the central hubs of the key races—Nagas, Ferans, Elementals, Demons. However, they avoid using them often. It heightens the chance of being spotted."

"That seems uncomplicated," Knight remarked.

"Getting to their headquarters initially posed the real challenge," Lyrate countered. "They depended on System safeguards. After obtaining those, they became lax in this area."

She crossed her arms in a relaxed manner. "Regarding the total count of bases, it adds up to seventy-two."

"Seventy-two," I echoed. "Excellent. So, just one course of action remains for us."

"To start, we summon Aurora and her companions to this spot. Next, Primus along with his demon troops. We seize control of each of those bases and set up our influence within them."

My gaze turned to the distant skyline, where a subtle violet glow from the modified heavens still faintly persisted.

"This provides us instant entry to the galaxy's expanse. No longer wandering aimlessly. No pursuing elusive phantoms. We exploit their established network."

Knight nodded resolutely. "Solid plan."

Silver's wings rustled faintly at his back while a smirk crept over his expression. "Rather than tracking them through the stars, we claim their chart as our own."

"Precisely," I affirmed. "And we deploy it versus the Eternals plus the rifts proliferating across the cosmos."

I breathed out steadily and lifted my hand. "Hold on a bit."

Shutting my eyes, I tapped into the fresh power I had gained from advancing my talent.

[Sovereign Link]: You acquire an ongoing, subtle sense of your summons and may concentrate to directly share their viewpoint. A soul connection binds you to your summons, enabling the shift of your consciousness into them.

I decided to concentrate.

The bond strengthened right away.

My consciousness jolted ahead, like an unseen force had gripped my essence and tugged me down a tight corridor. For the briefest instant, I anticipated merely viewing the scene via Ragnar's sight, merging his view with my own.

But the environment encircling me transformed entirely.

I found myself amid a woodland.

Towering trees surrounded me, their trunks shadowy and sleek, foliage rustling without any breeze. The soil underfoot seemed tangible, covered in decayed foliage and yielding dirt, though the locale carried a subdued quality, as though it hovered just beyond full existence.

A disturbance stirred the atmosphere, and Ragnar emerged at my side, coalescing from a subtle glow.

"What brings you here… wait, how did you arrive?" he queried swiftly, his gaze sharpening as he scrutinized me.

"And what place is this?" I shot back, pivoting gradually.

"This serves as my soul space," he answered.

"Your soul space?" I echoed, truly taken aback.

He gave a single nod. "Correct."

I glanced at my own figure and then scanned the woods once more. My shape appeared somewhat see-through, outlines less defined than normal, my being less weighted. I wasn't present in the flesh. I existed as a manifestation, a piece of my soul projected into Ragnar's personal realm.

Realization came on slowly.

The Sovereign Link went beyond just sensing. It permitted intrusion.

Since I could call Ragnar into the outer realm via our tie, it followed that I might venture inside, to the domain tied to his Null Core and linked to my spirit.

"Well," I remarked shortly after, "seeing as I can pull you into my domain, it figures I could enter yours."

Ragnar regarded me briefly, then shook his head lightly. "You're absurd."

"In any case," I pressed on, setting aside the scenery temporarily, "where do you all stand at the moment?"

"We're…" Ragnar hesitated, his face changing as he extended his senses via their chosen means of contact. "Uncertain. Allow me to consult Aurora."

He grew quiet, eyes distant.

The woodland encircling us stayed motionless. Lacking avian calls or animal stirrings. It was indeed an artificial inner domain, molded by his thoughts and core.

Moments later, Ragnar blinked and turned his attention back to me.

"We're in limbo," he stated. "Floating aimlessly in the void."

"Floating," I restated, creasing my brow a touch.

"Affirmative. Traversing between sectors. No set destination."

I pondered it for a short while. "Inquire with her about the nearest prominent planet to your present spot."

Ragnar nodded once more and quieted again.

On this occasion, the wait extended further.

At last, he voiced, "The nearest key planet is Zaraboom. It's an elemental realm."

Zaraboom.

I sifted through my recollections. An elemental world implied dense stores of raw elemental forces, prone to volatile areas, and perhaps home to the Elemental folk. It wasn't chosen at whim.

I nodded firmly. "Fine."

Ragnar cocked his head a bit. "What for?"

"I'll return shortly," I declared plainly.

Before he had a chance to say more, I pulled back my consciousness.

The woodland faded into a surge of brightness and feelings, and the draw inverted. My senses returned sharply to my corporeal form in Abor's capital. The purple heavens, the fractured terrain, the company of Silver, Knight, and Lyrate all reemerged vividly.

I lifted my eyelids.

Lyrate observed me intently. "You vanished briefly," she noted.

"Experimenting with a novel feature," I answered steadily. "Is there a portal linking to Zaraboom?"

Lyrate's brow furrowed a little at the mention of Zaraboom, her look changing as she recalled her gleaned knowledge.

"Affirmative," she confirmed soon. "There's a base in proximity to Zaraboom. Not directly on the world, yet in the identical sector."

She lightly folded her arms while elaborating. "Zaraboom qualifies as an elemental planet, packed with density, erratic in certain zones. Nearby lies a wild planet alongside a few lesser settled worlds, chiefly insectoid settlements and assorted lesser species. The whole grouping creates a self-contained sector encircled by various advanced civilizations. It holds tactical value."

"How many hollow star bases exist there?" I inquired.

"Two," she responded. "Each set up to oversee the sector and regulate portal entry."

I nodded decisively. That sufficed.

I faced Knight. "Employ a portal and proceed to the base close to Zaraboom."

His features tensed at once. "Got it."

"Upon reaching it," I went on, "obliterate the base entirely. Ensure no survivors."

He dipped his head in acknowledgment.

"Following that, seize a vessel from the site and travel to Zaraboom proper. Retrieve Steve and the others and return here."

Knight nodded solidly. "Consider it handled."

I directed my attention to Lyrate. "Does a base lie near Primus' world?"

This time, she required little deliberation. "Yes. A single one. Situated after two transfers, concealed along a relay path."

"Excellent," I noted. "Utilize that portal. Head there, then connect with Primus in person."

Her eyes tightened faintly with comprehension. "You seek his presence here."

"Correct. Escort Primus and his demon legions. Relay the circumstances to him. Should he desire to include his troops, that's acceptable; if he prefers arriving solo to evaluate first, that works too."

Silver observed quietly, his wings tucked at his back, yet a smile lit his face as the magnitude dawned on him.

"We assemble the group here initially," I proceeded. "Afterward, we devise the comprehensive assault."

Knight's stare intensified. "Every one of the seventy-two."

"Every seventy-two," I verified. "Simultaneously."

Doubt had no place anymore.

"Reports of events here have already gone out," I stated evenly. "Regardless of the planetary link being severed partway, the pair of lunar outposts kept sending signals. Certain individuals elsewhere sense trouble brewing."

Silver crossed his arms. "Thus, we act swiftly before reinforcements arrive."

"Spot on," I responded. "We deny them opportunity to rally. We prevent shifts of their breeding sites or destruction of proof. We hit all bases at the same time and transform them into our strongpoints."

Lyrate nodded deliberately. "Such action will disrupt the whole web."

"Disruption is the goal," I declared.

I regarded them one by one.

"Time is scarce. Depart immediately." The pair faded away in unison, Lyrate carrying off the insensate captives.

Silver lingered by my side momentarily longer, then let out a brief chuckle.

"Seems we've ceased merely responding," he commented.

"Indeed," I answered, eyeing the purple expanse over Abor. "Now, our push forward begins."
