Amun and the protagonist devise a new plan to turn the tide of the war by allowing Demi-Gods to break through a formation and be defeated, then summoned. The protagonist reveals that advancing to Middle Demi-God will also upgrade his seven existing summons to Low Demi-Gods. They decide to release two Demi-Gods with Water and Earth Origin resonances to be dealt with simultaneously.

I raised an eyebrow.

"The battlefield?"

He nodded. "The place where all Demi-Gods are forced to fight."

His expression became slightly more serious as he continued. "You have already seen what happens when Demi-Gods fight in normal space. Even a battle between two Low Demi-Gods can destroy entire star systems, and once Middle or High Demi-Gods begin using their Authority, the consequences become impossible to contain. That is why this place exists."

I looked at the crack again.

"This doorway is more than an entrance," Amun said. "It is also a seal. Once a Demi-God enters the battlefield, they cannot simply return to the Prime Universe whenever they want. The seal prevents us from bringing our battles back into Prime Universe and protects the universe from the consequences of our strength."

"So everyone fighting on the other side is trapped there?" I asked.

"Not permanently," Amun replied. "There are ways to leave, but none of them allow a Demi-God to simply tear through the seal and return whenever they wish. The battlefield exists outside the normal structure of the Prime Universe, and the seal ensures that our battles remain there."

I looked at the ancient crack for another moment before nodding. The idea made sense. If even one of the stronger Demi-Gods decided to fight inside Prime Universe without restraint, the damage would be impossible to repair.

Amun moved forward.

"Come."

I followed him into the crack.

The moment we crossed through, the feeling of the universe changed completely.

There was no transition, no sensation of traveling through Space. One moment we were standing before the crack, and the next we were inside an endless expanse of darkness.

The battlefield was almost impossible to describe as a normal place.

Only an enormous, dead void stretched in every direction, filled with oppressive energy that pressed against my body from all sides. Even with my current strength, I could feel the weight of that energy against my existence. It was not simply natural pressure. It was the residue of countless battles fought by Demi-Gods over an unimaginably long period of time, layered upon itself until the entire region had become saturated with their Laws, Origins and Authority.

I looked farther ahead and finally understood why this place had been chosen.

A broken galaxy floated through the darkness.

Or rather, what remained of one.

Entire planetary systems had been shattered and scattered across the void. Pieces of planets drifted among enormous fragments of stars, while massive chunks of celestial bodies slowly rotated through the darkness. I could see the remains of a shattered galaxy core in the distance, split into several enormous pieces, with rivers of ancient energy still flowing between them.

Some debris was larger than planets.

Others were so enormous that they looked like pieces of entire star systems.

There were also remnants of structures that I could not identify, half-destroyed weapons, fragments of formations and enormous pieces of what might once have been Demi-God constructs. Everything had been broken apart and left floating here, preserved by the strange nature of the battlefield.

I expanded my perception.

The further I looked, the more destruction I found.

Some areas were frozen in place, while others constantly twisted under the influence of residual Authority. In another direction, I could sense traces of annihilation that had remained for so long that they had become part of the void itself.

This was not simply a battlefield.

It was a graveyard created by Demi-Gods.

Amun continued moving, and I followed him without saying anything. We traveled deeper into the battlefield, passing through regions where the pressure became increasingly heavy. Occasionally, I could sense faint traces of battles that had happened long ago, remnants of Authority colliding with each other and leaving permanent scars in the void.

Eventually, Amun slowed down.

Something enormous appeared ahead.

At first, I thought it was another piece of debris.

Then I realized it was perfectly shaped.

A giant black cube floated silently in the darkness.

Its size was absurd.

It was roughly as large as two giant planets placed together, yet every surface was perfectly smooth and completely black. No light reflected from it. No energy leaked from within. The only sign that something existed inside was the constant trembling that passed through its massive body.

Boom.

The entire cube shook.

A moment later, another tremor ran through it.

Boom.

The void surrounding the structure rippled from the impact.

I stared at it for a moment before looking toward Amun.

"That," he said, pointing toward the cube, "is the formation I told you about."

Another tremendous vibration passed through the structure, and this time I could faintly sense several powerful presences struggling within it.

The six Demi-Gods.

"They have been trying to break out ever since I trapped them," Amun continued. "The formation is designed to suppress their Origins and prevent them from combining their strength effectively. They have tried countless times to force their way through, but they have not succeeded."

I studied the cube more carefully.

Even from outside, I could feel how powerful the formation was. It was not simply imprisoning their bodies. It was restricting their entire existence.

Amun looked at me.

"You asked me to release the ones with Water and Earth Origins."

I nodded.

"I will make it appear as though the formation is weakening," he said. "Then I will allow the two of them to escape separately. They will believe they have finally broken through the formation, but in reality, I will control the opening."

Amun’s expression became slightly amused. "And once they leave, you deal with them."

I looked toward the trembling cube.

"How many times?"

"All six," he replied. "One at a time or in pairs, depending on the situation. We will continue until every one of them has been dealt with."

I nodded slowly.

There was something strangely satisfying about the simplicity of the plan.

They would believe they were escaping.

Instead, they would be walking directly into my hands.

Amun turned toward the cube and began walking forward. I remained where I was for a moment, watching the enormous black formation tremble again as the six Demi-Gods inside continued trying to break free.

Soon, two of them would believe they had succeeded.

And I would be waiting for them.

Amun glanced back at me once. "I’ll start with the two you requested. Be ready."

"I will."

He nodded and stepped toward the black cube. The moment his body touched its surface, darkness swallowed him completely.

His presence disappeared inside the formation.
