The protagonist and Viserys engaged in a fierce battle, exchanging powerful blows and utilizing advanced laws and soul force. After a brutal clash, the protagonist managed to gain an advantage, but a massive black palm emerged from a fractured spacetime barrier. The protagonist destroyed the palm, causing Viserys to unleash an even more devastating attack. The protagonist, empowered by activating a special node, met the attack head-on, shattering Viserys's weapon and injuring her. However, their fight was interrupted when Dream revealed a mysterious artifact and activated an "Eternal Seal: Blood Binding," trapping both the protagonist and Viserys within a crimson dome that suppressed their powers. Sue expressed shock at Dream's actions.

Dream remained silent for several seconds, his gaze moving between the crimson dome and the Saints standing outside it. There was no trace of hesitation on his face, only the calm expression of someone who had already accepted the consequences of his decision. Eventually, he looked toward Sue and lowered the cube slightly.

"I suppose there is no reason to hide it anymore."

Sue’s expression hardened. "What have you done?"

Dream met her gaze without flinching.

"I joined the Eternals."

The words seemed to hang over the battlefield for a moment before their meaning fully sank in. Then the silence shattered.

"You betrayed us?" Kaelra’s voice thundered across the battlefield, her anger carrying even through her exhaustion. Despite his injuries, the Elven King instinctively reached for his broken bow, while Gerald’s usually relaxed expression became cold and unreadable.

Sue simply stared at Dream as though she were looking at someone she had known for centuries and had suddenly discovered she never understood at all.

"Why?" she finally asked.

Dream’s expression remained strangely composed. "Because I was tired of being trapped here in the Prime territory." His gaze shifted toward the crimson dome enclosing Viserys and me.

"You all speak of freedom as though it can simply be taken from those who possess it. You speak of overthrowing the Eternals as though strength alone is enough to accomplish such a thing. I have spent countless years watching entire races disappear while those above us continued deciding the fate of everything beneath them."

His fingers tightened slightly around the crimson-black cube.

"They offered me something none of you could."

Sue’s eyes narrowed with disgust. "What?"

"A future."

Dream’s voice softened, but there was an unmistakable conviction behind his words. "They promised me life in the real world. A new body. A new existence. I would no longer be confined to this place, and I would become part of the Eternal faction rather than spending eternity fighting against an order I could never truly defeat."

Kaelra’s lips curled in contempt. "So you sold us for a body?"

Dream’s gaze shifted toward her.

"For freedom."

"Traitor."

Sue’s single word was quiet, but it carried more weight than a shout. The others followed, their anger spilling across the battlefield as accusations and curses were directed toward Dream. He didn’t respond to any of them. Whatever guilt he might have once possessed had clearly been buried beneath the conviction that his decision had been justified.

I ignored the entire exchange.

My attention remained fixed on the restraints surrounding me.

I pulled against one of the crimson chains, but it didn’t even move. I increased the flow of Soul Force through my body, expecting the additional pressure to at least weaken the binding. Instead, the chain tightened around me, its crimson runes glowing brighter as though it had responded directly to my resistance.

My expression became serious.

I tried activating one of my Laws.

Nothing happened.

I attempted another, but before its authority could fully manifest, the seal suppressed it and forced the power back into my body. Even my Domain was being affected. The violet-silver authority of Veritas Dominus remained present, but its connection to me had become noticeably weaker.

That was when I understood the true nature of the artifact.

The crimson dome wasn’t merely preventing me from escaping. The chains weren’t simply restraining my body. The Eternal Seal was reaching deeper, severing the connection between my consciousness and the powers that constituted my existence. It was suppressing my Soul Force, restricting my Laws, interfering with my Authority and even binding my life force.

The restraint was comprehensive.

Far too comprehensive.

This was the danger the All-Knowing Eyes had warned me about.

Dream himself had never been the greatest threat.

This artifact was.

I stared at the crimson-black cube in his hand, studying the intricate patterns moving beneath its surface. The craftsmanship alone was enough to tell me that this wasn’t something an ordinary Saint could have created. In fact, the authority woven into the Eternal Seal was so complete that I doubted even an ordinary Eternal could have forged it.

A conclusion gradually formed in my mind.

A demigod had created this.

Someone at that level had designed an artifact specifically capable of binding existences like Viserys and me, and Dream had brought it here with a single purpose: to ensure that neither of us could interfere with the Eternals’ plans.

Outside the dome, Dream slowly turned his attention toward Viserys.

"The Twelfth Soul Current cannot be allowed to remain free."

His expression hardened as he looked into her black eyes.

Viserys stared back at him through the crimson barrier. The fury in her expression had deepened considerably, and for the first time since she had emerged from the ancient gate, the aloof arrogance in her eyes was overshadowed by something far more dangerous.

She was genuinely angry.

I looked down at the chains once more before raising my eyes toward Dream.

Viserys stared at the crimson chains for several seconds before a low, bitter laugh escaped her lips. The sound carried no amusement. It was the laughter of something ancient that had just been presented with an insult it considered too absurd to take seriously.

"Do you truly believe this is sufficient to bind me?"

Her voice echoed through the crimson dome as she slowly lowered her head. The anger in her eyes had deepened into something far more dangerous, and the darkness surrounding her body began to surge violently.

Then her body cracked.

Thin fissures appeared across her fair skin, spreading from her shoulders down her arms and across her torso. Black smoke began leaking from those cracks, curling around her body like living shadows. The pressure within the dome increased so suddenly that even the crimson chains began vibrating.

Something was changing inside her.

I couldn’t see exactly what she was attempting, but I could feel the terrifying power gathering beneath her physical form.

The Eternal Seal reacted immediately.

Every crimson chain around her body illuminated.

The moment the black smoke attempted to expand, the chains tightened and forced it back into her body. The cracks continued spreading, yet whatever transformation Viserys was attempting was being forcibly suppressed by the artifact.

Her expression twisted with fury.

"You dare..."

Outside the dome, the black ocean suddenly erupted.

Thousands of black figures rose from its surface.

They were knights.

Each stood several meters tall, their bodies covered in armor formed from the same black substance as the ocean. Their faces were hidden behind featureless helmets, except for two glowing blue eyes burning within each visor. Every knight carried a different weapon, ranging from enormous swords and spears to axes and curved blades.

For several seconds, they simply stood upon the surface of the black ocean.

Then every pair of blue eyes turned toward Dream.

The army moved.

Thousands of black knights surged through the air simultaneously, their weapons raised as they charged directly toward him.

Dream’s expression remained calm.

He reached into his robes and produced another artifact.

This one was a small golden crystal.

He crushed it between his fingers.

Golden light immediately erupted around him, forming a transparent dome that enclosed his entire body. The first wave of black knights crashed into it.

BOOM!

Their weapons struck the golden barrier with enough force to shake the surrounding space.

The barrier barely rippled.

Another wave struck.

Then another.

Hundreds of black blades hammered against the golden dome, yet the surface remained almost perfectly still.

Dream didn’t even look at them. He reached into his robes again and withdrew a small orb.
