My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 1113: A New Skill
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
The remains of Lacome disappeared, leaving behind nothing but an empty space where an Eternal Saint had once stood. The suppression formations embedded throughout the pocket realm continued operating quietly in the background, their purpose now meaningless with their only prisoner already gone.
I remained where I was for a few moments, slowly absorbing everything I had gained.
The All-Knowing Eyes.
Even now, I could feel their presence resting within me. The black markings surrounding my eyes had faded from view, yet the connection remained. Beneath the surface, the Talent felt alive, waiting for a question, waiting for knowledge to be sought.
The trip had been worthwhile.
Lacome was dead. I had gained a Saint-level summon. I had acquired the All-Knowing Eyes.
And perhaps most importantly, I had finally learned how the Eternals had managed to discover hidden descendants throughout the years.
There was little reason to remain here any longer.
My gaze drifted toward the ceiling of the chamber.
"Time to leave."
The words escaped naturally, but before I could take another step, another thought appeared.
I paused.
Actually...
Why leave the normal way?
The All-Knowing Eyes were no ordinary Talent. Their purpose wasn’t simply to answer questions. They revealed truths. They revealed solutions. If I was already planning to return to the Ironhart Settlement, then why not ask the Eyes if a better method existed?
The idea immediately became more appealing the longer I considered it.
Without hesitation, I activated the Talent once more.
The black markings surrounding my eyes slowly emerged across my skin while the X symbols hidden within my pupils began rotating. Soul Force immediately started flowing into the Eyes. Even after experiencing it once, the drain still felt ridiculous. The Talent consumed Soul Force at a frightening rate, but compared to the answers it could provide, the cost was acceptable.
I focused my thoughts and asked a simple question.
What is the safest and fastest way for me to leave the Null Realm and return to the Ironhart Settlement?
The answer arrived instantly. A torrent of information flooded into my mind.
It was knowledge.
An entire technique unfolded within my consciousness as though it had always existed there.
The technique was called Echo Reversion.
As I understood the technique, I quickly realized why the All-Knowing Eyes had chosen it.
Every location an existence visited left behind traces of their presence. Most people never noticed them. Most techniques couldn’t interact with them. Yet every step taken, every battle fought, every moment spent in a location left behind an imprint composed of space, time, and soul.
An Echo.
Echo Reversion allowed the user to reconnect to one of those echoes. The destination wasn’t selected through coordinates.
It wasn’t reached through spatial travel. The user simply returned to a place where their existence had already been acknowledged by reality itself.
Suddenly, many of the technique’s impossible qualities began making sense. Since the user never actually crossed the distance between two points, conventional defenses had nothing to intercept. Barriers couldn’t obstruct it, dimensional locks couldn’t contain it, and even the fastest teleportation methods struggled to compare with something that bypassed travel altogether.
The user wasn’t moving through space. They were reconnecting to a part of themselves that already existed elsewhere.
The technique was absurd.
And I loved it.
More information continued streaming into my mind as I studied the inheritance. The technique required three separate anchors to function correctly.
Space, Time and Soul.
Without all three, the technique would collapse. Without sufficient Soul Force, the user’s soul could become damaged. Without a strong enough body, reconstruction could fail. Without a powerful soul, the journey itself could tear the user apart.
The risks were considerable. Fortunately, none of those concerns applied to me.
A few moments later, I raised my hand and allowed Soul Force to gather before me.
A silver rune slowly appeared in the air.
Countless lines folded into one another, forming a structure that seemed to contain layers upon layers of overlapping dimensions. Merely looking at it created the strange sensation of staring into endless space.
The rune of Space.
Moments later, a second rune emerged beside it.
Golden patterns rotated across its surface while countless phantom moments appeared and vanished throughout its structure. Fragments of the past and future seemed to flicker around it before disappearing just as quickly.
The rune of Time.
Finally, a third rune materialized directly before me.
Unlike the others, this one was simple.
Black, steady and alive.
Its rhythm perfectly matched the beat of my own existence.
The rune of Soul.
The three symbols floated silently within the chamber for several seconds before they slowly began moving toward one another.
The process wasn’t fast. It felt deliberate.
The distance between the runes gradually disappeared until all three finally touched. The instant they did, a wave of energy rippled through the chamber.
The runes merged. The three concepts fused together into a single symbol.
Then the symbol exploded. Thousands of streams of light spread outward before dissolving into nothingness.
At the same moment, my perception expanded. The underground chamber disappeared.
The pocket realm disappeared. Even the Null Realm itself seemed to fade away. A vast darkness unfolded before me. Within that darkness existed countless points of red light.
Before me stretched an endless darkness filled with countless points of red light. Some shone brightly while others appeared little more than distant embers, yet each one carried a familiar presence that immediately resonated with my soul. Understanding arrived almost instinctively.
These were my echoes.
Every place where my existence had left an imprint upon reality itself.
Cities, battlefields, settlements, hidden realms, distant worlds, and forgotten corners of the universe all appeared before me as scattered beacons suspended within an endless void. The sight resembled a night sky filled with countless stars, except every star represented a location where I had once stood.
My gaze moved across them only briefly before settling on a particular point.
The Ironhart Settlement.
Among the countless echoes surrounding me, that familiar beacon stood out immediately. Without hesitation, I reached toward it with my will.
The moment my choice was made, Echo Reversion activated.
A powerful force locked onto my soul and pulled.
There was no warning and no gradual transition. One moment I remained inside the underground chamber, and the next my entire existence unraveled. Flesh, blood, bone, and every physical aspect of my body dissolved into countless fragments before disappearing completely, leaving behind nothing but my soul.
Then the journey began.
The sensation defied description. I felt no wind against my skin and no movement beneath my feet, yet reality itself seemed to blur around me as I was drawn toward the selected echo. Memories flashed past in broken fragments. Familiar cities appeared and vanished. Battlefields drifted through my awareness. Entire worlds surfaced for the briefest moment before fading into the distance once more.
