"I know her?" Joanna was again surprised but soon guessed who it was, she became excited, "Is it the young lady we saw at the auction that night?"

Ashton nodded, "Yes, it’s her."

"How did you know that Gary is getting together with her? Did Yannick see it too?"

"Yannick ran into him and that woman by chance and asked him privately. He admitted it himself."

Joanna became truly happy and immediately put the teen drama aside, "So it’s true. I knew that Gary and that young lady were special to each other. I didn’t expect them to actually be together."

"That’s great. If our mom hears about this, she’ll be over the moon. She has always been worried about Gary’s marriage. I have to call him as soon as I get off the plane and ask him about it."

"Are you feeling better now?" Ashton pinched her cheek, "Not sad anymore?"

Joanna beamed, "Yep, not sad anymore."

Ashton patted her head, decisively turned off the teen drama, grabbed a blanket and covered her head, and pressed her against his chest, "Let’s not watch a heartbreaking movie anymore. There’re still five hours until we arrive in Noviland. Why don’t we just get some sleep?"

"Weren’t you saying that we would go try out the local food after arriving? If you don’t rest well, you will just want to sleep in the hotel when you get off the plane."

Joanna leaned her face against his warm chest and gently circled her arms around his strong, narrow waist. She paused and softly nodded in agreement.

Ashton stroked her head again and held the little woman who clung to him like a tree bear. His deep magnetic voice was full of tenderness and affection, he bent down and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead, "Alright, let’s sleep."

Since Joanna had slept for a few hours on the plane, she was full of energy when she got off, showing no signs of fatigue from the long flight.
