Annie Lawrence plots to take advantage of a drunk Frank Parker, believing her chances of seducing him are greater than Joanna's. As she heads to an elevator, two men notice her and one secretly photographs her. Meanwhile, Joanna returns to her friends after a lengthy absence, lying about her whereabouts and reuniting with Porter and Kelvin for another card game. Annie then intercepts a waiter bringing drinks to Frank's room.

A waiter presented the items he was holding to her.

Annie Lawrence accepted the wine from the waiter, then sashayed her way toward the private room.

She could barely contain her bubbling excitement, a flush of eagerness and anticipation painting her features. Pausing outside the door, she adjusted her hair with one hand and checked her makeup in the door's reflective surface. She then tapped on the door.

The waiter inside promptly opened it for her.

As the door swung open, Annie drew a deep breath, a sweet smile gracing her lips as she gracefully entered the private room.

The waiter who had opened the door did a double-take, assuming she was a new recruit.

He couldn't fathom why the management would assign a novice waiter to attend to Frank Parker’s private room.

Typically, VIPs like them were not served by newcomers.

New staff were more susceptible to making errors.

Any mistake that might offend these prominent figures would inevitably lead to repercussions for everyone else.

But...

He found this new waiter oddly familiar.

It felt as though he had encountered her somewhere before.

Annie entered the private room, and without needing to search, her eyes landed on Frank Parker seated on the sofa.

The room was bathed in dim light.

The man reclined casually on the sofa, his head bowed. Although his face was not clearly visible, his inherent nobility was undeniable, radiating an imposing presence.

Annie's heart began to race.

She observed Frank.

Then, her gaze shifted to the other individuals in the private room.

Despite all being human, the disparity between them was astonishingly vast.

Some individuals were clearly destined for greatness, set apart from ordinary folk.

The contrast between Frank Parker and the others in the room was strikingly evident.

If Frank was akin to a dragon among men.

Then the other men present were merely earthworms, insignificant and lowly.

Mr. Parker...

Merely by virtue of his status, countless women would eagerly vie for his attention.

Furthermore, he possessed striking good looks and a superb physique. Combined, these attributes made him utterly irresistible to any woman.

Even if his temperament wasn't always pleasant.

No one is flawless.

For such a near-perfect man, even with minor flaws, what did it matter?

His strengths were more than sufficient to compensate for any weaknesses.

A man of such caliber, if she could win him over, then captivating Ashton Heath in the future would surely be a breeze.

Annie's gaze was intense, fixated on Frank, her ambition practically radiating from her eyes.

No matter what.

She was determined to have this man tonight.

She also aspired to become Mrs. Parker.

Everything she desired, she would relentlessly pursue, advancing step by step.

Carrying the wine, Annie slowly approached Frank.

Upon reaching his side, she noticed he still had his head down, not having even glanced her way. She placed the wine on the coffee table, then knelt before him, her voice laced with sweetness, "Mr. Parker, shall I open this bottle of wine for you now?"

Annie deliberately mimicked Joanna’s speaking cadence as she uttered these words.

During her cosmetic surgery, she had not only requested her face be sculpted to resemble Joanna’s but had also desired to replicate her voice.

Regrettably, her facial features were altered.

However, her voice remained distinct.

Yet, the imitation of Joanna’s tone still managed to capture Frank’s attention.
