Linga Felt is brutally tortured by a masked man known as Troll, enduring immense pain and psychological torment. Terra, a mysterious woman, oversees the torture, attempting to extract information. Despite Linga's desperate pleas and his fragmented memories of his family, Terra orders Troll to continue, introducing a new, maddening form of torture: a single drop of water falling repeatedly on Linga's forehead.

Alone with his thoughts, he tried to immerse himself in his own mind, but his mind began turning against him, tearing itself apart.

"Whose fault is this? Why am I here? Why is this happening to me?"

"All I have to do is tell them what I know, and I can go home with my family."

"Shut up, you coward! Have you forgotten everything the squad leader did for us?"

"Did for us? What did he do? His job. That’s what he did. And where did that get me? Nowhere."

"Who was it that saved us? It was his son. Damon. He saved us."

"He didn’t save us. He was only giving us those potions and money because we told him the truth. And this... this is the reward?"

"No... no, I’ll never talk. I’ll never talk."

Just as Linga muttered those words to himself, the soft sound of footsteps echoed through the darkness.

Someone approached.

It was Terra.

She looked radiant and beautiful, almost like a goddess.

She raised her hand and blocked the drops of water from reaching his forehead.

The small reprieve made Linga immediately begin to cry.

"Thank you... thank you."

"You’re welcome."

Terra smiled.

"So, about our conversation. Are you finally ready to talk?"

Linga was quiet.

His face was frozen in terror.

His eyes were wide open and unblinking, dark circles hanging beneath them. His pupils had shrunk so much that barely any of his irises could be seen.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about," he whispered.

Then he began mumbling to himself.

"I’m a pretty little butterfly... fly, fly away from here... yes... I can fly..."

Terra sighed and scratched her head.

"I held back because I didn’t want your mind to shatter, but it seems you’ve been overstimulated."

She looked at him.

"Let me bring you back to your senses."

She reached into the fog beside her and pulled something out.

A small finger.

It looked like the finger of a child.

"You recognize this?" she asked softly, leaning closer to him.

Linga looked at it.

His eyes narrowed.

For the first time in a long while, a flicker of light returned to them.

Then his expression widened in horror.

"That’s right."

Terra smiled playfully.

"It’s your son’s cute little finger. He was a fighter, so it got a little messy."

She tilted her head.

"But don’t worry. He’s still alive."

"Just missing a finger."

Linga’s hands trembled violently.

Terra’s smile slowly faded.

"I don’t have time, so I’ll have to use a much quicker method."

She leaned closer.

"If you can endure pain, can your wife and children?"

Linga’s entire body froze.

"Bring them in."

A woman and her two children were brought into the chamber.

Terra looked at them.

"Let’s start slow."

She raised a hand.

"Beat them."

A group of large men stepped forward.

Linga’s hands trembled violently.

"Please... please... I beg you!"

His pleas meant nothing to Terra.

The sounds of fists raining down on the mother and her two children echoed throughout the room. His own family screamed and cried as the large men beat and kicked them without mercy.

His wife tried to cover the children with her body, but it was useless. She was kicked away as a large man pressed her head against the ground with his foot. She tried to scream, but her voice died in her throat, her hand reaching desperately toward her two children. One of the men kicked it, crushing her fingers beneath his boot. The loud crunch made her scream in agony.

Soon, they were bruised and bloodied. The children were no longer moving, and their mother made a desperate attempt to crawl toward them, slowly scraping her battered body across the ground to reach them.

Then, finally, she did.

She collapsed over her two children, wrapping her arms around them as tightly as she could. It had taken every ounce of her will to reach them, and the moment she did, her body finally gave out.

Linga had been screaming and crying throughout the entire process, begging them to stop, but his pleas meant nothing.

Then Terra grabbed him by the hair and pulled him and the chair upright with relative ease.

"Tell me what Godric’s secret was. What are you hiding? Tell me. You know what I want, and all of this can end the moment you do."

Linga’s lips quivered as he looked toward his family.

"I don’t know. I swear on the Goddess, I swear."

His words were barely audible, but Terra could hear and understand every one of them. She sighed.

"So you refuse."

One of the men took out several vials of potions and forced them down his wife’s and children’s throats.

"Fine. Why don’t I make this hurt more for them?"

"You... you are a monster! What kind of person would do this to innocent people? You evil witch!" he screamed, even though his words meant nothing to her.

Terra sighed and slowly shook her head.

"Their pain just doubled."

When she said that, she saw the fear immediately appear in Linga’s eyes as he looked toward his family.

"There are many strong men here. Undead, perhaps, but still men. And then there is your poor wife. I wonder if she can handle them all. As for your children, I wonder if they can watch."

She leaned forward, her cold eyes fixed on him.

"Can you? Women have died from this, so I can’t guarantee she will survive. Do you even love her? Do you love your children? Or is this secret more important to you?"

Then she took out a magical device, tapped it, and brought up a broadcast.

"As we speak, the empire and every nation in the world have mobilized their armies. They intend to capture the god of this world first, then march into the final battle. The world will be beautiful after this last war."

Her gaze remained fixed on Linga.

"But will your family live to see it? Just tell me."

"I won’t! Go to hell! Go to hell! I hope you rot, you evil bitch!"

Terra smiled.

Then she snapped her fingers at the large men.

"She’s all yours, boys."

One of them grabbed Linga’s wife while another seized her legs and began dragging her away as she desperately struggled and screamed. The children screamed as well, their voices filling the room.

Whatever this nightmare was, Linga just wanted it to stop.

"Wait! Wait, please, stop! I’ll talk! I’ll talk! Just let my family go, please! I beg you!"

"Ahhh, so quickly? You disappoint me."

Terra smiled.

The men released his wife, who immediately crawled back toward her children and hurriedly huddled around them, desperately shielding them with her battered body.
