Li Chen defeats the powerful Ox Dragon, who then reveals he and his people are from the pure Demon Race. They are led to the Ox Dragon's village, a hidden world where most demons choose to remain in their beast forms. The Ox Dragon and Christina discuss the lost realms and the current state of the world, while the demons welcome Li Chen and Christina as guests.

"Big brother, big sister, what Race are you?"

"Big brother, big sister, the village chief said you’re really powerful, is that true, are you even stronger than the village chief?"

"Big bro..."

Observing the Lion that trailed alongside him, Li Chen found himself quite speechless.

Ox Dragon, who was indisputably the chief of this village, had offered them a brief welcome before returning to his own duties. The village itself was remarkably simple and honest, its inhabitants living a profoundly basic, primitive existence.

Despite the powerful auras emanating from these Demon Race members, and their ability to sustain themselves without food or drink, they clung to the most primitive survival strategies: some were engaged in farming, others in hunting, and a portion patrolled the surrounding areas.

In this world, the Demon Race was far from the only inhabitants.

Numerous Ferocious Beasts also roamed this land.

Quantitatively, these Ferocious Beasts far outnumbered the Demon Race—a fact that Ox Dragon himself had conveyed to them.

The origin of these Ferocious Beasts remained a mystery to everyone.

The Lion, persistently accompanying them, displayed an immense interest. Regardless of their destination, he would follow, bombarding them with an unending stream of questions, as if his curiosity was insatiable.

"I belong to the Human Race; she is of the Demon Race." Li Chen, finally unable to bear the continuous barrage of inquiries, responded with a touch of weariness.

"Human Race and Demon Race!" The Lion’s eyes widened, gleaming with an intense brightness, which, despite his immense size, lent him an endearing appearance, though it was also somewhat intimidating.

"Did you journey here from the outside? We have no Human Race or Demon Race residing in our lands." the Lion inquired, his tone laced with curiosity.

"Then, within your world, besides the Demon Race, what other Races exist?" Li Chen shifted to his own line of questioning.

The Lion, without hesitation, casually listed, "Aside from us of the Demon Race, there is also the Yaksha Race, the Elf Race, the Aquatic Race..."

Li Chen and Christina exchanged a meaningful glance. They had genuinely not anticipated such a diverse array of Races inhabiting this world.

"Naturally, the mightiest among us is still our Demon Race," the Lion declared with a measure of pride. "Truth be told, I initially mistook you for a member of the Elf Race, given your comparable stature, though you possessed a distinct aura."

"You refer to the human form," Christina replied with a smile. "Adopting a human form is indeed more conducive to Cultivation. His true form is precisely as you see him now." Gesturing towards Li Chen as she spoke, Christina added, "However, my true form is entirely different."

"Big sis’s true form?" The Lion’s gaze intensified, his curiosity piqued as he asked, "What does your true form resemble?"

Christina offered a mysterious smile. "Perhaps it is best if I refrain from revealing my true form, lest I frighten you."

It was not only the Lion who felt a flicker of curiosity; Li Chen, too, was intrigued. He had never witnessed Christina’s true form, not even during their prior sparring session with Ox Dragon had she resorted to her original shape.

Among the Demon Race, their true bodies often varied drastically. Consider the Abyssal Great Lord Manoros, whom Li Chen had encountered in the Remnant Cloud Forest, or those Demon Race individuals who bore a striking resemblance to Humans, differing only by an additional pair of demonic horns protruding from their heads.

"So, big sis, is the human form truly that advantageous for Cultivation? And how does one assume a human form?" the Lion inquired, his voice filled with genuine curiosity.

Upon hearing this, both Li Chen and Christina found themselves taken aback.

"You... are unfamiliar with Shape Transformation?"

"Shape Transformation? What is that? Does it involve becoming human?"

Li Chen and Christina exchanged a look, unable to suppress wry smiles. Earlier, they had pondered the reasons these Demon Race members shunned Shape Transformation, opting instead to remain in their current forms. After all, their sheer size often presented significant inconveniences—Ox Dragon, for instance, was the size of a dwelling, necessitating an immense structure just to house him.

They had never imagined that the actual reason was their inability to perform Shape Transformation.

If merely one or two were unaware, it might be understandable. However, the most astonishing revelation was that every single Demon Race member in this village was utterly incapable of Shape Transformation.

Consequently, the pair sought out Ox Dragon once more.

"I understand you possess knowledge of the Art of Transformation?" Ox Dragon’s bovine eyes widened as he regarded the two of them.

"I do not," Li Chen stated, shrugging and indicating Christina beside him. "She does."

For Li Chen, the acquisition of any Transfiguration Technique was unnecessary, as he had no requirement for Shape Transformation—he already belonged to the Human Race.

"Indeed, I am proficient in the Transfiguration Technique, but what do you intend to offer in exchange?" Christina inquired, her eyes twinkling. Li Chen clearly perceived the subtle upward curve at the corners of her lips, forming a distinctly demonic smile.

Ah, it was only natural, for she was a Demon to begin with.

With a deeply contented smile gracing her features, Christina eventually exited Ox Dragon’s colossal structure, accompanied by Li Chen.

Behind them, Ox Dragon’s face was a mask of heartache, though his eyes couldn’t conceal his underlying delight.

It was evident that he, too, grasped the profound utility of the Transfiguration Technique. Given his cultivation realm, he recognized that a human form was far more conducive to Cultivation, and a reduced stature offered significant advantages in various scenarios.

In Ox Dragon’s estimation, had he discovered the Transfiguration Technique sooner, he might have ascended to the status of a Ninth Order Expert by now, never having to harbor fear towards that individual from Black River.

Word regarding the Transfiguration Technique disseminated rapidly throughout the village, a place of moderate size. Upon hearing the prospect of learning this technique, a substantial number of the Demon Race rejoiced. Especially upon learning that the technique originated from Li Chen and Christina, they accorded the duo the highest honors, treating them as most esteemed guests.

Unbeknownst to them, Ox Dragon had also paid a considerable price for this knowledge.

Li Chen and Christina remained in this small village for several days, observing firsthand as Demon Race members, one after another, successfully mastered the Transfiguration Technique and adopted human forms.

Considering their robust Cultivation base, acquiring the art of shape-shifting proved relatively straightforward. The primary challenge for some lay in their deeply ingrained habits; having long been accustomed to their true bodies, the transition to bipedal movement was awkward, often leading to comical tumbles in open spaces.

During these intervening days, Li Chen did not venture far. Instead, he would frequently wander to different locales within the village, settle into a cross-legged seated position, and engage in quiet contemplation.

Regarding the much-vaunted Innate Divine Demonic Powers, Li Chen harbored no urgency. Despite Christina venturing out independently on numerous occasions, he refrained from accompanying her, choosing instead to remain immersed in his personal insights.

"A diminutive world such as this could not possibly materialize without cause. Therefore, was this minor realm a product of natural genesis, or was it brought into being by Innate Gods and Demons?"

"If it was a creation, then the capacity to bring forth such a world—does that signify an individual has brushed against the very threshold of a creator?" Li Chen mused silently to himself.

Another day elapsed. A villager of the Demon Race, who had been squatting near the village entrance, suddenly emitted a guttural roar, and alarm bells resonated throughout the minor settlement.

Startled from his reverie, Li Chen strode into the village. He reached out, grasping a Demon Race villager who had recently mastered the Transfiguration Technique, and inquired, "What is transpiring?"

"Ah! It is you, Young Master Li!" The villager, recognizing Li Chen, quickly regained his composure and responded, "Young Master Li, exercise caution—the contingent from Black River has arrived!"
