Suan Tian revealed that someone could be a "Heavenly Fiend Lone Star" and that this fate might be alterable, even suggesting death as a possibility. He also noted the reappearance of Doomsday Beast Souls and departed to consult with other old figures. Meanwhile, Li Chen and Christina reached the edge of the God-subduing Marsh, a place radiating pure death aura, and decided to descend into it. Li Chen used "Cease Spear" and "Infinite Weight" to transport them both to a new location beneath the swamp.
Few who have descended into the God Subduing Swamp could ever fathom that its depths hold not mere filth or scattered bones, but an entirely separate world. Li Chen himself couldn't help but be astonished upon his initial arrival. This is a complete, albeit minor, world. It’s highly unlikely anyone else would ever conceive of such a pocket dimension existing beneath the God Subduing Swamp. Of course, for anyone other than Li Chen, entering this minor world would be an impossible feat. Unless one were to fall in, the intense suction and tearing forces of the swamp would obliterate them. Christina, unable to perceive the truth, was unaware that Li Chen saw the remnants of shattered bones—some still faintly glowing—deep within the swamp during their descent. These were clearly the remains of incredibly powerful beings in their prime, all meeting their end here. Li Chen once experimented by tossing a potent treasure into the Celestial Spear’s temporal loop; within moments, it was utterly crushed, deformed, and reduced to scrap. The forces within the God Subduing Swamp are overwhelmingly terrifying! The Celestial Spear’s defensive capability is a recent acquisition for Li Chen. Under its protection, all crushing forces are warped by time, acting as a unique dispersal mechanism, preventing the swamp’s power from affecting him. This ingenious tactic allowed him to evade certain doom. Naturally, Li Chen was not engaging in reckless abandon. Should the pressure become too much, he could always summon the Supreme Treasure. He held firm in his belief that no matter the intensity of the God Subduing Swamp’s power, it could not tear apart a Supreme Treasure. It was this absolute certainty that emboldened Li Chen to venture forth. "Is this the bottom of the God Subduing Swamp?" Christina inquired, her eyes wide with curiosity as she surveyed the expansive minor world. After a moment’s thought, Li Chen responded, "To call it the bottom isn't incorrect, but it is merely one of its bottoms." "What do you mean by that?" Christina asked, her brow furrowed in confusion. "If my assessment is accurate, there are likely numerous minor worlds such as this one situated beneath the God Subduing Swamp," Li Chen explained. "You mean..." "Precisely. My hypothesis is that these fallen Innate Gods and Demons merged with their respective Domain Realms upon their demise, thus creating these minor worlds. Though they are long dead, their Domain Realms have gradually solidified over eons, evolving into the worlds we see now," Li Chen stated, nodding. He acknowledged, however, that this was merely his speculation and not yet a confirmed fact. "Why did you choose to enter this particular minor world?" Christina questioned, understanding that Li Chen must have had his reasons. "It’s quite simple," Li Chen replied with a wry chuckle, shaking his head. "If I were to venture any deeper into what lies beyond, I would be completely out of my depth. At the very least, while I am here, I possess a degree of confidence." Christina fell silent, her gaze fixed on Li Chen, a clear flicker of disbelief in her eyes. "Believe it or not." Noticing Christina’s scrutiny, Li Chen offered a faint smile before turning and beginning to walk forward. Seeing Li Chen move, Christina ceased her questioning and quickly followed him. Despite having discovered this place herself, she found herself feeling inexplicably more secure following this enigmatic man. Li Chen possessed an almost preternatural mystery about him, and from the very outset, he emanated an aura of calm amid chaos, which gradually soothed Christina’s initial anxieties. After all, they were treading in a place rumored to be the legendary birthplace of the Ten Thousand Races of the Starry Sky and the final resting place of Innate Gods and Demons. The very notion of walking such ground made her inherently uneasy. The area where they had landed appeared to be a vast grassland; though devoid of any livestock, it pulsed with an omnipresent vitality. "What knowledge do you possess regarding the Four Emperors?" Li Chen inquired, turning to Christina as they walked. "I know a little, but not a great deal," Christina replied, momentarily startled by the abrupt question before nodding. "Share what you know," Li Chen said casually. "The Four Emperors were extraordinarily powerful cultivators at the Palm Realm, recognized as the pioneers of the Four Realms," Christina stated. "Pioneers?" "Indeed, they were not merely rulers but the very architects who forged the paths for the Four Realms. The Four Emperors guided the Four Realms to safety, averting a catastrophic disaster and leaving behind a profound legacy. It is said that had the Four Emperors not intervened to help the Four Realms escape that immense calamity, the Starry Universe would now be plunged into eternal darkness, with no Great Realms remaining," Christina elaborated with a slow cadence. "And regarding the Palm Realm?" Li Chen pressed, "What insights can you offer?" Hearing Li Chen’s query, Christina’s eyes sharpened. "I can only reveal so much. Powerhouses of the Palm Realm exist on a plane far beyond our current comprehension." "A little is sufficient," Li Chen replied, his gaze sweeping over Christina. He had long perceived the enigmatic nature of her origins, yet she presented herself as a mere rogue cultivator. He found it implausible that a rogue cultivator of the Demon Race could possess such intricate knowledge, particularly concerning the God Subduing Swamp."Similar to the Domain Spirit Realm, the Palm Realm also possesses three distinct stages: the Ancient Ancestor, Dao Saint, and the Heaven-shrouding Realm." Christina's words led Li Chen into profound contemplation. His suspicions were confirmed; the Palm Realm was indeed stratified into different levels. However, with no known practitioners of this realm making public appearances, their true strength remained an enigma to all. Only an individual as enigmatic as Christina might possess fragments of this knowledge. "And the realm of the Four Emperors?" "I have no information on that," Christina replied with a firm shake of her head. "My best guess is that only the Ancient Ancestors of bygone eras might possess such knowledge." "What about the Creator? What level would the Creator be classified under?" Li Chen inquired further, seizing the opportunity to question someone so well-informed. This time, Christina remained entirely silent, clearly hesitant to delve into that particular subject. Perceiving Christina's reluctance, Li Chen chose not to press the issue. As his cultivation advanced and his experiences broadened, he trusted that these enigmas would eventually be unveiled, negating the need for immediate urgency. Just then, a low, resonant roar suddenly reverberated from a distance. "Moo-ho~~" Li Chen glanced upwards, a faint smile gracing his lips. "Finally, after such a prolonged journey, we've encountered a living creature. It appears this place has truly evolved into a genuine world."
