A powerful illusion array caused cultivators to slaughter each other, leaving the battlefield strewn with corpses. Li Chen, protected by his formation, watched calmly while his companions shielded their eyes from the horror. Despite their desperate attempts to escape, the cultivators were trapped by a powerful seal. The few survivors, recognizing Li Chen's terrifying power, chose to end their own lives rather than face him.

The siege concluded just like that, leaving the Heavenly Martial Artists beside Li Chen in stunned disbelief.

When they had pledged their allegiance to Li Chen, a mutual understanding was that they would face death together. However, their fate was to be passive observers, witnessing a gruesome spectacle that sent shivers down their spines.

It was a scene of powerful individuals perishing in a self-inflicted slaughter.

At this moment, the might of the Supreme Treasure became undeniably clear to these Heavenly Martial Artists. Even more astonishing, however, was Li Chen's audacity.

His personal combat prowess remained a mystery. Despite Li Chen only deploying a Bagua Array Diagram, its effectiveness in conjuring a Triple Layered Great Formation, capable of inciting mutual destruction among formidable opponents, spoke volumes about his mastery of the Formation Path.

Suddenly, a saber and a sword, erupting from Li Chen's vicinity, left the assembled Martial Artists awestruck.

Rumors of the Red Dust Heavenly King possessing a Supreme Treasure had circulated for ages. Yet, the fact that such a cultivator, armed with such a treasure, had lived unharmed for so long, avoiding forceful seizure by others, was a testament in itself.

The blood-red saber unmistakably bore Li Chen's aura, an indication that it was a treasured weapon, refined with his Lifeblood and carried for an extended period.

The longsword, however, was even more menacing, radiating an oppressive Evil Qi, forged through countless acts of bloodshed.

Regardless of whether it was the saber or the sword, both weapons served as irrefutable proof.

The souls claimed by these two weapons were innumerable.

This Red Dust Heavenly King was undoubtedly a person of decisive and ruthless character.

"Time to gather the spoils," Li Chen announced, his gaze sweeping over the individuals flanking him.

A shared glance passed between them as they swiftly grasped Li Chen's intent and hurried to collect the storage rings from the fallen cultivators.

As a mound of rings was presented before him, Li Chen couldn't help but wear a faint smile after a thorough examination.

"A thousand miles to deliver heads; a humble gift, yet heavy with meaning," Li Chen quipped, stretching his limbs.

The surrounding onlookers stifled their laughter, especially the Heavenly Martial Artists, who would have erupted in mirth were it not for the intimidating presence Li Chen projected.

What kind of jest was that?

If the powerful individuals who perished within the Great Formation could hear these words, they might well rise from their graves in indignation!

As these thoughts brewed, a Salt-Heaven Lord standing near Li Chen noticed a streak of blood-red light ascending from the pile of corpses.

"It actually revived?!" the Salt-Heaven Lord exclaimed, his mouth agape. He attempted to intercept, but the blood-red light moved with astounding speed, vanishing into the sky in an instant.

Witnessing this, the Venerable Level expert couldn't help but turn his attention to Li Chen.

"No need to fret over it. That was merely residual information from a condensed Lifeblood Essence. Its creator has already perished," Li Chen replied dismissively.

In truth, he had sensed its presence long before but had chosen to ignore it.

"But if others discover your whereabouts, and word of this spreads, won't that attract more hunters?" the Salt-Heaven Lord voiced his concern.

Li Chen offered a slight smile and inquired, "What is your name?"

"Leng Yao." The Salt-Heaven Lord, taken aback by the abrupt question, nonetheless provided his name.

He had initially considered responding with 'Lord Leng Yao,' but retracted the title, recalling the dozens of Venerable Level cultivators Li Chen had dispatched earlier and wishing to avoid any semblance of presumption.

"Excellent, Leng Yao. This is for you." Li Chen declared, scooping up a handful of the rings and bestowing them upon Leng Yao.

"You mean..." Leng Yao was utterly astonished.

"Distribute the contents amongst your brethren," Li Chen instructed with a smile. "You were all prepared for a fight to the death earlier. Regardless of your internal thoughts, you chose to stand by my side. And I never mistreat those who stand with me."

Li Chen’s posture remained unhurried as he took a seat. By this juncture, the surrounding corpses had been largely dealt with by the formidable forces under Leng Yao’s command, leaving no trace of the abundant Vital Essence that had been present.

The Three Lives Riverbank gradually returned to its former state of tranquility.

Selectively retrieving items one by one from within a ring, Li Chen then addressed Leng Yao, inquiring, "Do you have any idea why I allowed that streak of blood-red light to escape just now?"

"Pray tell, why?" Leng Yao instinctively posed the question.

"If my assessment is accurate," Li Chen stated, his hands occupied with his task, "those individuals could not initially be certain that I possessed a Supreme Treasure, nor could they ascertain its nature. Otherwise, they would not have been so eager to meet their demise."

"That beam of blood-red light should now have departed to relay information to the others, confirming my possession of the Supreme Treasure, the Bagua Array Diagram. It's quite possible that a greater number of adversaries will soon arrive to lay siege to me." Li Chen remarked with a discernible smile.

"Are you... not harboring even the slightest bit of worry?" Leng Yao’s countenance betrayed a flicker of concern.

At this precise moment, Christina also settled herself beside Li Chen. It was apparent from the sheer delight etched on her face that she had benefited considerably from the preceding spoils.

"This fellow is adept at luring others into his traps; it's highly improbable that anyone could ensnare him," Christina commented, her expression unreadable.

Observing this powerful individual from the Demon Realm, Leng Yao’s lips parted slightly, and he cast a glance at Li Chen, though he remained silent.

Despite his general disinclination towards those from the Demon Realm, he possessed a vague feeling that Christina’s assertion held a kernel of truth.

Li Chen offered a smile and a knowing grin towards Leng Yao; his teeth, as white as snow, gleamed piercingly under the sun's rays: "Rest assured, as long as their cultivation is suppressed within this locale..."

"No matter how many descend upon us, I shall dispatch every last one of them!"

Upon hearing Li Chen's pronouncement, Leng Yao felt an inexplicable chill sweep past him as if a cold gust had just passed by his side.

"Brother Li Chen, what precisely are you engaged in?" At this particular moment, Tian Yi’s voice emanated from behind Li Chen.

"Setting up the barbecue grill, preparing for a feast."

"Barbecue? And what delectable items shall we be grilling?"

"Eight-Treasure Chicken, procured from a fellow cultivator’s ring; this delicacy is reputed to be among the finest delicacies of the Four Realms. To forgo tasting it would feel like a personal failing," Li Chen articulated, smacking his lips.

Leng Yao opened his mouth, the realization dawning upon him that he, along with this Heavenly King of Red Dust and the individuals surrounding them, were operating on entirely different planes of existence.
