My gorgeous wife Chapter 1953: 1922: Believe I'll Smash Your Head In?

“This cursed place, not even the Domain Realm can be used, how troublesome!”
As they neared the valley, Christina could not help but grumble. With the aid of the Domain Realm, her speed would have been substantially greater, and she could have even utilized it to surprise the four individuals, temporarily immobilizing them. However, under the current circumstances, she was relegated to employing more basic ambush tactics.
“Indeed,” Li Chen concurred, nodding his head.
For a cultivator at the Soul Realm, the Domain Realm was a valuable asset. Yet, within this location, his Divine Sense Domain proved utterly useless.
Christina cast a dismissive glance at Li Chen. Can someone like him, who is in the Domain Realm, even utilize the Domain Realm? What bearing does that have?
Li Chen paid no mind to Christina’s scrutinizing gaze; arguing about such trivial matters was pointless.
Furthermore, given his present predicament, he preferred others to underestimate him.
“Hmm?”
As Li Chen and his companions rapidly advanced, the four combatants finally registered the approach of outsiders. Just as they were about to disengage from their battle, Li Chen and his team seized the opportune moment to strike.
“Selfless Domain!”
While not as formidable as the Domain Realm, this domain was a diminished version, exclusively the specialty of martial artists. Any technique considered a signature skill is undeniably potent, causing consternation throughout the Three Realms, particularly within the Immortal Domain.
Li Chen’s particular domain was undoubtedly the most vexing for the Immortal Domain.
A transformative domain!
Within Li Chen’s domain, it could perfectly replicate a smaller-scale Domain Realm. Anything achievable by the Domain Realm could be accomplished by Li Chen’s domain, albeit with slightly less power.
“Void Prison!”
Confronting four experts at the Soul Realm, even with his cultivation suppressed, Li Chen did not dare to hold back. He directly conjured a Spatial Prison using his Domain Power within a Void Realm.
Billowing layers of silver luminescence materialized from the space surrounding the four combatants, engulfing them completely in less than the blink of an eye.
“Space Law?”
The expressions of the four experts shifted in unison. They immediately ceased their resistance, opting instead to combine their strengths and assault the surrounding spatial barrier.
The expert skilled in Space Law was clearly intending to trap them until reinforcements could arrive.
Their immediate objective was to shatter this prison swiftly and effect a clean escape.
“We are all at the Domain Realm. Joining forces will make it simple to break through the Space Law!”
“Boom!!”
A burst of fiery energy erupted within the Void Prison, causing one layer of the barrier to instantly disintegrate.
However, to the astonishment of the four experts, after shattering the initial layer, they discovered dozens of overlapping barriers behind it.
“What kind of Space Law is this?”
If the subsequent barriers possessed comparable resilience, even with their might, it would require at least ten breaths to breach them all. Such a duration was ample time for their adversaries to annihilate them.
“This…”
The four exchanged glances, a collective sigh of resignation rippling through them.
Observing their opponents cease their attacks, a peculiar smile flickered across Li Chen’s lips.
Admittedly, his Space Law might not be overwhelmingly effective against significantly more powerful adversaries.
However, the efficacy depended entirely on the opponents he faced previously.
Li Chen’s past adversaries, even the least formidable among them, were a full Major Realm superior to him. Given such a substantial disparity, the Void Prison had indeed proven ineffective. Li Chen was well aware of this and had not engaged in futile endeavors.
But the circumstances had now changed.
Everyone was at the Domain Realm. While some might possess power far exceeding that of typical Domain Realm cultivators, did they truly believe his Void Realm Space Law was merely a trifling matter?
Li Chen had initially focused on cultivating the Five Elements Rule. Unexpectedly, the law he had mastered to the highest degree and wielded with the greatest proficiency was now Space Law.
Space Law itself is an exceptionally enigmatic and profound principle. This Void Prison remained under Li Chen's meticulous control. He could easily make minor adjustments, allowing external attacks to penetrate the prison while ensuring internal attacks remained contained.
Consequently, those previously formidable Soul Realm experts, who might have inflicted damage upon Li Chen’s team, were now easily subdued.
Of course, a contributing factor was that the four had expended considerable energy in their prior engagement, sustaining varying degrees of injuries. Otherwise, Li Chen and his companions would not have been able to capture them so effortlessly.
“Who… are you?”
Gazing at Li Chen and his entourage, the four experts wore expressions of bewilderment.
Li Chen’s team presented a truly bizarre composition: martial artists, immortals, and members of the Demon Royal Family. In this war-torn landscape where the Four Realms were at odds, such a coalition seemed utterly incongruous.
“I shall answer your query shortly,” Li Chen stated with a smile. “Before that, perhaps you should answer ours first?”
The four fell into a moment of silence upon hearing this.
They were, after all, captives now. Captives typically did not have the privilege of asking questions first, did they?
“First, state your identities and your purpose here.” As the four comprehended their predicament, Li Chen finally posed his questions.
“War Frenzy Legion from the Heaven Realm, Li Xiu, the Sword Ghost,” the two martial artists hailing from the Heaven Realm quickly divulged their affiliations, recognizing that concealment proved futile in their current dire straits.
“We were en route to the Four Emperors Territory when we encountered them and commenced our battle,” Li Xiu explained with an air of candidness.
For cultivators of such caliber, soul-searching was not an insurmountable feat, especially considering their capture.
A flicker of understanding crossed the eyes of the two Divine Realm experts as they, too, revealed their origins.
“Main God Lufa, Bette from the 379th Divine Legion,” the blonde expert from the Divine Realm declared.
Li Chen licked his lips; a Main God signified a Seventh Rank individual. Yet, with everyone suppressed to the Domain Realm here, their rank seemed inconsequential.
“We too are seeking the Four Emperors Territory, crossed paths with them here, and…”
“Slap!”
Before the blonde Main God Lufa could finish his statement, Li Chen’s palm connected with his forehead. Though Li Chen employed no offensive techniques, the sheer might of his physical body was sufficient to leave Lufa’s forehead an angry red.
“What are you doing?! The great deities may perish in battle, but they shall not be humiliated!” Lufa bellowed in outrage.
“Slap!” Li Chen delivered another forceful slap to Lufa’s forehead, which visibly began to swell.
“You…”
“Slap!”
“I…”
“Slap!”
After a few moments, observing Lufa, whose head now resembled a swollen pig’s, Li Chen grinned. “No longer roaring? If you’ve calmed down, then begin speaking the truth, or I shall crush your head. Do you believe me?”
Gazing at Li Chen with a face resembling a battered pig’s head, Lufa’s eyes were now filled with apprehension.
