The protagonist decides to confront Piao Changji directly. While Xiao Li prepares to accompany her, Madam Zhao claims illness, and Wuyue insists on joining. Upon arrival at Piao Changji's mansion, they witness a disturbing scene: eight brides, chained and veiled, are being forced into marriage by Piao Changji, who cruelly abuses one of the brides. The protagonist intervenes, brutally attacking Piao Changji.

"I’m hitting you, so speak! How did you send out your avatars??" My foot pressed down, shattering three of Piao Changji’s ribs with a single, unhesitating motion.

Screams filled the courtyard, the brides turned deathly pale, their cries echoing ceaselessly.

Most of the onlookers who had gathered for the ceremony fled in a panic. Only Piao Changji’s guards and a few officials remained, their bodies radiating demon qi as they glared at me.

However, with Piao Changji’s life hanging in the balance, none dared to advance.

Piao Changji let out a great laugh, his teeth slicked with bloody red from the wounds. "Can’t get out? Worried now? I simply won’t tell you, Su Wan! If I can’t get out, you won’t either."

"If you don’t speak, you die!" I threatened with icy indifference, my entire presence emanating the aura of a female demon god.

The thought of him nearly killing an innocent girl and harming countless others over the years ignited a fierce desire to tear this vile wretch apart.

Piao Changji merely snorted, a hint of stubbornness surfacing in the cowardly man. "Even if I tell you, you’ll kill me anyway, Su Wan!! I know your meddling nature, always acting like some benevolent Buddha, cough cough cough... Regardless, I’ll ensure you’re trapped in this desolate place forever... Why are you all just standing there? Set the mountain ablaze for me!"

"Burn... which mountain?" The officials and servants exchanged bewildered glances, their expressions utterly blank.

Piao Changji guffawed hysterically, "Gather everyone from the city, set White Lady Mountain on fire! I’ve been imprisoned for so many years!! You even chased me into the painting for your life; if I can’t find peace, neither will you!!"

"Damn it, you’re asking for oblivion!" Never in my life had I felt such searing rage; flames seemed ready to erupt from my eyes.

I watched as dozens of official servants rushed out, bellowing orders at the townsfolk in the streets.

Many of the townspeople were monsters themselves, and upon receiving the command, they eagerly grabbed torches to set White Lady Mountain ablaze.

Naturally, I possessed no means to stop such a multitude simultaneously; after all, two fists can’t fend off four hands.

Direct confrontation was impossible, but eliminating the monsters? That I could certainly do, couldn’t I?

"Piao Changji, you leave me no choice." Gripping my flower hairpin, I invoked the Mystic Thunder charm. "Ten thousand ghosts retreat, lightning summoned, expedite as the law commands!"

Piao Changji’s eyes narrowed as he sneered, "Cough cough cough~ So you’ve truly ascended to Earth Immortal status, wielding the Purple Gold Mystic Thunder Charm. A single strike of lightning could obliterate this entire city, yet half its inhabitants are alive, and these brides are also human beings."

A bolt of lightning immediately descended, reducing a building to rubble.

Subsequently, agonizing wails reverberated throughout the city.

This scoundrel, Piao Changji, besides luring brides into his painting, had likely captured numerous able-bodied men from beyond, forcefully integrating them as his citizens to indulge his fantasy of officialdom, ensnaring innocent lives.

I could no longer bear to unleash the charm’s full might. Forcefully retracting the thunder charm, I commanded, "Withdraw!"

The overwhelming backlash slammed into my chest, churning my very blood.

Blood surged to my throat in an instant, but I managed to swallow it back down.

In the distance, plumes of black smoke were already rising from the mountain.

The mountain fire had indeed been ignited!!

Seeing Piao Changji’s continued sneering, a killing intent surged within my heart.

Abandoning any thought of seeking an escape route, I drove the flower hairpin directly into his skull, impaling Piao Changji and ending his life in a single, swift strike.

"Xiao Li." My gaze fixed on the escalating mountain inferno, a cold sweat beaded on my brow.

Just as I prepared to rush back to render aid, I encountered Xiao Li, who had materialized suddenly.

Startled, I inquired, "What are you doing here?"

"The elder sister consumed me entirely," Xiao Li responded. "After swallowing me, I ended up here; that’s how she utilized Moving Position."

In the ensuing moment, the Taoist nun appeared on the deserted street.

Knowing that Moving Position couldn’t transport oneself, I hastily questioned Xiao Li, "What about Madam Zhao? Could she escape?"
