Qin Miaomiao expresses her discomfort with being called "Madam" while Lu Xing observes her and Mo Wenwan together. Lu Xing then arranges to meet Mo Wenwan and invites her to the Lu Family's old house, which she agrees to, provided Lu Xing cooperates with her desire for a real girlfriend status.

After much intermittent thought, it became clear that many situations had shifted. If the elder held no lingering concerns about Qin Miaomiao, the sole recourse to sway his opinion would be to forge an alliance with Mo Wenwan, given that elders typically cherish the prospect of being surrounded by grandchildren.

Old Sir Lu had consistently maintained a close watch on the company's affairs. Despite Lu Qing's adept management, certain matters could still present difficulties. With Lu Xing now involved, a superficial assessment of many issues would be insufficient, making internal harmony all the more critical.

"You both come over together. Head straight here after you've eaten; I'll be waiting."

Upon learning that Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao were dining, Old Sir Lu did not hasten them. He conveyed his message clearly before concluding the call. He held the financial report from the preceding week; though many aspects remained obscure to him, the overall trajectory was evident. While stable growth was positive, he harbored other apprehensions.

Following their Western dinner, Lu Qing and Qin Miaomiao proceeded to the old residence.

"I wonder if Grandpa has something exceedingly important to discuss with you. If I accompany you, I'm uncertain if I can be of any assistance," Qin Miaomiao expressed, her gaze fixed on Lu Qing.

Observing his composed demeanor, she pressed further, "Aren't you concerned that Grandpa wishes to discuss something of great significance with you?"

"Regardless of its importance, it won't pose a challenge for me. Refrain from overthinking. Whether you can offer assistance or not, I prefer you remain uninvolved. Concentrate instead on your own professional endeavors."

"That's wonderful," Qin Miaomiao murmured, her left hand unconsciously reaching out to touch Lu Qing's ear. A dreamy expression settled in her eyes, and the curve of her smile became akin to a crescent moon.

"What is it?" Lu Qing inquired, noticing Qin Miaomiao's notably buoyant spirits and her unrestrained display of affection.

"Nothing at all, just concentrate on driving," she replied.

Lu Qing cast a glance at Qin Miaomiao, who was secretly smiling, and his own mood became exceptionally uplifted.

Old Sir Lu awaited their arrival before speaking. He handed the report he had just reviewed to Lu Qing, stating, "Take this back for your archives. I have a duplicate copy here."

"Grandpa, it's quite alright if you retain it; I have my own archival system there," Lu Qing offered.

"There's no need; the duplicate suffices. Should you require it later, you can retrieve it from me."

Old Sir Lu's insistence led Lu Qing to accept the report and put it away.

"I summoned you here to ascertain Lu Xing's standing within the company. Has he been conducting himself appropriately?"

Lu Qing listened to his grandfather's somewhat hesitant tone. He delicately broached the subject of Lu Xing's recent activities at the company, hinting at underlying concerns but deeming them inconvenient to disclose to his grandfather.

"My primary concern is that you two might not be on the best terms. Although you're not in the same department, you would naturally interact daily. However, Lu Xing is now a manager, and all his actions require your approval to proceed. I recognize your fairness and impartiality; I simply wish to prevent him from acting presumptuously and causing disruptions. Ensure you maintain clarity on this matter."

"I comprehend your intentions, Grandpa. Rest assured, I treat everyone equitably, just as I always have."

Old Sir Lu's gaze intently studied Lu Qing. Recalling Lu Xing's complaints from a few days prior, it now seemed as though his anxieties had been mere figments of his imagination, and that the situation was not as he had perceived. Consequently, his mood lightened considerably.

"You needn't trouble yourself excessively; I am fully aware of the circumstances, understanding what actions are necessary and what ought to be done. It is all clear in my mind."
